Pai Wang Luo Network and Winning Poker Network are the only two with any regular fixed limit holdem games.

I am in Nevada. It seems there's only one real site (WSOP), and from my experience not only is the software and customer service complete trash, the community is too small to really have fun grinding.

Does anyone know other sites accepting Nevada players? I feel like I'm gimped here, and I'd rather not go to ClubWPT if I don't have to. I just never want to touch WSOP again.

Your choices are limited. Far and away your biggest option is Chico Poker Network. Other options would be small crypto only sites like Nitrogen or SWCpoker.

Depends on what network you are asking about.

Can anybody suggest the best place to play for me?
I am on a mac, and I prefer heads up NLHE, micro stakes. Open to cash, SNGs and tourneys.

I'm in California. Anything besides Carbon?

Heads up is not particularly popular anymore. Mainly because the poker sites themselves dislike it (it bleeds the fish dry too quickly).

Since you are on a Mac, that is even more limiting unless you are going to use VMWare, Wine, or something similar to run a Windows client within your Mac OS.

I'd suggest you look at Pai Wang Luo Network, Chico Network and America's Cardroom (in that order).

Thanks. I'll check out Ignition. I played there a few years ago when it was Bovada, but at the time I wasn't crazy about the anonymous thing. I signed up for Betonline last night, but ACR mac client doesn't seem to work at all...

Didn't know Wine worked for poker clients? makes me a little nervous, security wise.

Sorry for Double post, can't find the edit button. In addition to the above, are you guys aware of any plans of existing poker providers that these will offer fast fold games in the near future?

I just saw that Chico is now offering Boost Poker, however there is basically no traffic... Any known reasons for that?

Havent played in years and looking for micro games. Located in NY. Any recommendations?

Also - if someone could point me to a sticky/thread that goes over what returning players should know wrt things like deposits, withdraws, legal issues, etc.

Where can US players play? Hey Kahn, instead please answer these questions: Do you hope US players will (sooner rather than later) play on some sort of legal sites in more states in addition to DE, NV, NJ and PA in the future? And why don't you or whoever the mod is specify those "legal options" or sites on the first page of this thread (instead of nebulously referencing them) for those states where it is legal in addition to the offshore sites where it is not??

Sounds like a good question for you to send him by PM.

I think it simply stems from how the thread started - a poster kindly put together a post that explained the very confusing landscape of unregulated sites, and probably didn't think the few regulated options needed explaining. No one has really mentioned it since that I can remember, but you make a good point. If you'd like to put together a list, I'm sure we could add it to the OP.

In addressing your first point, I don't see what the big (or little) deal is in asking that question publicly on here. It was truly an innocuous question. Does Kahn feel compelled to be hiding something in terms of conflict of interest etc.? Unless I am missing something, I think sending him a PM on the aforementioned question is hilarious to be honest with you. Is that classified only to be shared in private?? LOL. Opinion questions relating to where to play, which sites do you support (or not), of course are shared publicly all the time on here. At least let him say he is uncomfortable in responding himself.

Now granted I have not read through this entire thread since the first page, but I probably would bet Kahn has given his 2 cents of an opinion on a whole host of issues, least of which is related to this thread. I am sure he is a big boy and can speak for himself on such.

As far as your second point, thanks that you think it is a good point. But it is not my job to remedy the thread via where to point out all the legal and illegal online sites players can go. I thought moderating it (aka amending the thread) was Kahn's or the mods job, no??

I'm just offering you a suggestion. I don't think there are a lot of people who have been waiting to hear Kahn's hopes for the future of US poker, and I'm not sure why you have the desire to publicly hear his opinion specifically. I'm not suggesting anything is classified or needs to be kept private - just seemed odd to be suddenly asking one specific person their opinion on an issue that is only tangentially related to this thread, and not in response to any post of his. But I honestly don't care that much, so do as you will I suppose.

Hmm. I wonder if this in some way shines a light on why you'd ask a question so specifically to Kahn; it seems you think he has some special role in this thread or on our forums. Kahn isn't a mod, he can't moderate or edit posts, and taking care of this thread isn't his job. He's just someone who has knowledge of the industry and chooses to answer a lot of questions.

As for it being the mods' job to go out and research what sites are currently regulated in the US, it isn't theirs any more than it is yours. And given that none of the active mods in this forum are American, they wouldn't be the best qualified to do so anyway.

Moderators are simply posters who have volunteered to help out with cleaning up the forums, providing some guidance, helping out with problems, etc. And while sometimes mods will create stickies and guides, it isn't a job specific to them.

Cliffs: If someone wants to create a list of US regulated sites with the pertinent information, I'd be happy to add it to the OP.

Re: Where can US players play? - First post updated Jul '16

Im a US resident, here in AZ. I want to play online poker on ACR, using a debit card for my deposits. Will there be any issues for me? Used to play a lot on FTP before black friday, and was wanting to get back to playing. I read the first post in this thread, and didn't see anything about AZ. Admittedly, I'm kinda dumb when it comes to the legalities, and I don't have the time tonight to ready through 242 pages of info on this thread. Any info would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Last sentences of 1st paragraph, 1st post, states that if your state is NOT LISTED, you are free to play on all sites. Hope that helps. Bitcoin is being encouraged to use. Search this thread for debit card usage. https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...cp-tp-1332245/
