I am from New York, NY.

Since Black Friday I have tried ACR and Lock Poker. I successful received withdrawals from both sites after approximately 1 month (ACR via check, Lock via Western Union).

I have been playing Lock Poker because the software is better and seems to be better traffic. I wish they had more traffic at low limit SNG but they have a lot of traffic at low limit cash tables.

how much did you pay to withdrawal? Isn't Western Union kinda pricey?

I'm looking for somewhere to play low stakes HU... I'm playing at Bovada right now, but was wondering what people think about traffic on ACR, Merge, and Lock?

Merge has good HU traffic and starts at 50nl and decent RB at 35%. ACR (Winning network) has 27% RB I believe, although you can earn a higher RB % through their VIP program if you play enough. They have 10nl HU tables but it is hard to find games running when I look at the lobby. Lock (Revolution) has 20nl HU tables, good traffic and 36% RB although you can probably earn more through their VIP program too, especially if you keep a deposit bonus to clear.

From the PPN thread:

a few players stopped playing, a few new ones came on board. So basically, traffic is pretty much unchanged. If you want to play, start a table, a few players will show up eventually. There is $50 in the monthly rake race, $200 in the monthly tourney for the top 20 rakers and $25 per week in the weekly tourney for the top 25 rakers, if they have 25. there are weekly $100 freerolls. So that's at least $650 per month in promotional cash.

With about 30 rakers a month and less than 50 average in the weekly $100 freerolls, it's easy pickings for those of us who play. They usually have enough players for the guarantee tourneys to run 5 to 10 times a week.

I see an account in the cashier's page for rounders row so it looks like things are set up on PPN's end to accept the new players. If they are waiting for Everleaf to release or transfer the funds it may never happen. It is coming up on a year since Everleaf shut us out and i have seen no indication that they are ever going to give us our money back.

PPN has the fastest WU cash outs available, but they have the slowest software updates There are software flaws that have existed for months and months. It is a great place to play if you like to take advantage of promotions. Just make sure you keep an account somewhere else because u will die of boredom if it is your only cash site.

Lock poker charges 10% of the total withdrawal amount however they usually refund that fee for the first transaction per month.

^^ Lock or ACR/True Poker. I've heard Bovada is good but they don't allow P2P transfers if I'm not mistaken. That's pretty much it as far as I know with the criteria you listed.

Leaving customers in the dark as the network continues to degrade. No emails, no attempt to communicate with their players as to their actions lately. Say that cashout times will be faster with no P2P transfers...and they are taking longer than before (as many knew would happen). Players leaving en masse...need I go on.

Yeah...Merge is #1. I truly don't get how anyone can continue to stay loyal to them. There aren't many (if any) rooms currently available that I'd call perfect, but Merge, as far as customer service goes, is a massive fail. If that matters to anyone these days...

Just wanted some feedback from some of you who are knowledgeable about the merge situation. I play on PokerHost, i'm a J of diamonds vip level there, but on IronDuke i get rakeback. I don't play on carbon because i value fast withdrawals (WU), plus obviously the rakeback on IronDuke is a big deal to me. In your opinions, is depositing and playing regularly on a skin like Ironduke a risky proposition, given the belief that the smaller Merge skins are in trouble? I think Pokerhost may be ok because it has its own cashier (btw i have cashed out at least 20 times with them via MG and WU and ALWAYS receive it in a day or two). I am also under the impression that the merge skins like Ironduke that remain have been having quicker cashouts now since the some of the bottleneck may have been relieved with carbon et al leaving. Thoughts?

And you're a fanboy.

Almost every post I read from you is blindly rah rah Merge. It's not a good place to deposit at the moment. After the dust settles then it might be a different story.

Let's face it, there's no real "Great" place to play as an American right now but Merge isn't the go to solid thing it once was so to speak.

pretty much online you have 4 options in the US.

1) If you live in NV, you can soon play online on the NV online sites. Don't know the full details.

2) You can play a variant of poker like Skillbet where they have changed the interaction between players so poker is a "skill" game instead of chance.

3) You can play are Merge/networks but they are pretty much just doing the same thing pre-black friday was doing so its risky to keep much there.

4) Move out of the country

Not an expert but this is what I've gathered from 2+2 discussions.

Americas cardroom traffic isn't great (then again I took a couple years off poker so I'm comparing now to pre Black Friday) but support is good and depositing was quite simple.

Would recommend for sure.

This month is consistent with last month's report with a few ticks up or down. Last month's grades are in parenthesis. Here is the October US Online Poker Payment Processing Report.

Americas Cardroom/True Poker A+ (A-)

Americas Cardroom and True Poker, sister sites that anchor the Winning Poker Network, resolved most or all of their debit card issues. This helped them move back to an A+. Debit card withdrawals are received in 1-3 days. Many of these cashouts go out in 24 hours or less. Players must pay $25 to request a debit card. The card arrives in 1-2 weeks. There is a small fee for each time the card is used. Players may request $50-$2500 by debit card with a maximum of $10,000 per month.

Checks are available for amounts between $100 and $2995. These checks arrive in 1-2 weeks. Players may receive one free check every 30 days. Cash transfers are processed in 1-3 days, with many processed within 24 hours. The fees for cash transfers are as follows:

$100 - $299 Fee: $60
$300 - $499 Fee: $70
$500 - $749 Fee: $85
$750 - $999 Fee: $95
$1,000 - $1,500 Fee: $110

Intertops A- (A-)

Intertops no longer accepts new U.S. players. There are still many active U.S. players there so we continue to include them in the report. Intertops would receive a higher grade if they allowed players to receive one free cashout per month. The fees hold their grade back but their withdrawal speeds are as fast as U.S. players can expect from any room. Many players are happy to pay the fee if it means consistently fast withdrawals.

Checks have a $3000 max, carry a $50 fee, and are in delivered in a week or less. Intertops is the only U.S. facing site with quick bank wires. These take 2-3 weeks and have a limit of $2500. The wire fee is $50. Cash transfers are available to U.S. players too. They are processed in 1-3 days and carry the following fees:

$150-$500 Fee: $70
$501-$1000 Fee: $85
$1001-$2000 Fee: $180

Bovada B+ (B+)

Bovada has maintained respectable processing times for several months. Players may request a check for $200-$3000. Players receive one free check per month. Additional checks have a fee of $50. Bank wires are available but players are reporting cashout times of two months or more. I advise against using this method unless there is a need to move large amounts of cash. Cash transfers are also available to some players. They have the following limits and fees:

Money Transfer/WU

$100 - $200 Fee: $40
$201 - $500 Fee: $50
$501 - $1000 Fee: $80
$1001 - $2000 Fee: $150

Rapid Transfer/MG

$100 - $200 Fee: $20
$201 - $400 Fee: $30
$401 - $600 Fee: $45
$601 - $800 Fee: $60

Merge Gaming C- (C)

Carbon Poker left the Merge Gaming's cashier for an independent banking system last week. Sister sites Aced and PDC Poker will move to the same cashier system around December 1st. Black Chip Poker, RPM Poker, PokerView and most other Merge skins will remain on the standard Merge cashier. All players have checks available. Check deliveries arrive in 7-10 weeks and have a fee of $0-$20 depending on the player's VIP level. Some players have cash transfers available. Players may request up to $900 per transfer and up to $4000 per month. Each transfer costs $30. Unfortunately, cash transfers are only available to select players. Merge would receive a much higher grade if it were available to all players.

Lock Poker D+ (C-)

Several players have asked me what it would take for Lock Poker to get downgraded. I feel we are at that point. They are still a better option than network partner Juicy Stakes due to the availability of one free cash transfer per month. Those cash transfers are running 4-6 weeks right now though. Checks arrive in 2-3 months. This is worse than last month's 6-8 weeks. Their support issues are what ultimately earned them the downgrade. It is not time to panic, I just feel there are a lot of problems with the volume of requests Lock Poker receives as Revolution Gaming has exploded into the number one U.S. online poker network. High volume U.S. processing is extremely tough right now, especially when a site has grown like Lock Poker has over the past few months.

Cake Poker/Juicy Stakes D+ (D+)

U.S. players on Cake Poker moved to Juicy Stakes in September but these players are still waiting on checks from their Cake Poker days. Check times have been cut in half over the past three months. Players are now waiting 10-12 weeks, as opposed to nearly five months during the summer. Checks are delivered for free. I feel the outlook for Cake Poker/Juicy Stakes is positive, although they will need to knock about three weeks off their processing speed to get out of the D range.

Carbon Poker/Sports N/A

Carbon Poker moved their players to a new cashier a week ago. There have been no reported cashouts from the new cashier. There were some issues with this move and I want to see how they handle it. I have worked closely with Carbon Poker over the years trust that this move will be a positive change. There is not enough information to give them a fair grade at this time though. I should have a grade for them next month.
