PS-They had a lot of people registered in that free-roll-Something like 3000 people.

I am playing on the Merge skin Players only right now. However, I believe they are closed to new US members. My ? was, has anyone gotten paid. ( I just put in $25 to see what would happen )

I had not been on players only in awhile. They have a nicer room now.

I did not read all of the posts, however, Cake just transferred my account to juicy stakes. I have no experience with that one, so I am not playing on it, until I find out about it. Any thoughts on that one?

There has got to be better options for US Players.
This is like pulling nails trying to find somewhere decent to play.
I am going to try Carbon for now.

PDC poker, carbon, black chip are all legit merge skins. I've had a few successful wd's through carbon and many through BCP. BCP has great support and the software at merge is surprisingly very good.

I stack tables now and I used to tile, so that is where most of my mutlitabling effectiveness has come from but I'm playin way more tables on merge than I ever did at FTP.

Yeah, for US players I don't think you can't beat Merge software atm. If you can get WU cashouts then that's probably the best place for you as long as you're not a RB pro (not that I am )

I play a few more tables on Merge than I did on FTP. 18 tables vs. 16 tables .

Well guys its time for me to make a comeback into the online scene. I wonder what the best site is to deposit on. If u guys have any suggestions let me know. A lot of my friends have been playing on Carbon/Merge but they said the cashouts take forever. Whats the deal with Cake these days.

Things im worried about: security, rakrback/vip programs, number of midstakes cashgames 100nl - 1000nl, cashout speed and deposit speed.

American here, haven't played poker online for about a year but feel like depositing, just going to be playing micros. before i had been playing on HeroPoker b/c i have rakeback there (i think like 30%? can't remember exactly tbh), so that's going to be my default choice.

just checking to see if there's any major reason i should deposit elsewhere since i've been away for a while.

New to the forums from the US - looks like a heck of a setup here. Lots of information!

I have been playing on Lock for the past few months using my Netspend card to deposit - all of a sudden, last week, it starts telling me that the issuer denied the charge when I attempt to deposit. Never had any issues until now, and I am wondering what the deal is. If anyone can shed any light on this, it's appreciated.

I've downloaded a few other rooms (Carbon and RPM on Merge) but neither has anything but WU options for depositing. Anyone know of any still accepting Netspend cards? Anyone know if Netspend is no longer allowing people to deposit? Tried to contact the company but to no avail.

Please don't contact Netspend. It should work on Lock idk why it's not. Maybe try ACR or Bovada? I don't know who else is accepting CCs atm.

I assume by contacting Netspend it might not be a good end? LOL...duly noted.

I found a thread dedicated to the deposit mess on Lock, so hopefully I'll find out something soon. I'll give those rooms a whirl.

Does carbon offer rake back? And I heard ACR has hary any traffic. Is it bad enough to pass on them and play Bovada with no rakeback

Merge is legit. Cash out times via check have been a ill slow lately. 6 weeks maybe??? This should improve tho

But software and player pool, I have been really satisfied with what merge has to offer

I am interested in knowing this right now too. I read carbon is going down hill so I'm iffy about putting money there.

I mainly play tournaments both MTT and SNG's so I would like a site with decent tournament traffic. Thanks in advance guys.

How do you play so many tables? And I don't mean in regards to having the ability to do so, but there is literally not 18 of any type of table running...

You must be mixing up tons of 25NL 6max and FR, because there like only 1 of each type of table at stakes above that. Is what you play? Because even 25NL FR sometimes only has a few tables running.

Merge traffic is pathetic lately, was a lot better in August.

I just started on ACR and I have to say I was impressed. Didn't experience any lagging issues and the play was pretty good, honestly. Now I'm not a player that generally needs to load or withdraw big bucks, so I use WU when I load/take money out (I understand the fees - everyone has to make a buck). According to their support, they said from time of withdraw request via WU to the time it's available for me to pick up is about 8-9 days right now. That's a pretty good turnaround time in my eyes, but again...I'm not a heavy cash player.

I was driven to switch from Lock after not being able to deposit with my prepaid card for the past two weeks. Loaded a $50 spot through WU on ACR and though there was a $15 fee attached (probably would have made more sense to load more cash for that fee, but as stated, I'm not generally a big MTT player or big stakes cash table player), I placed 20th in my first 10k tourney last night and the game was enjoyable, so I've made my money back already.

Guess it depends - I can just speak to what my experiences are and what I'm looking for in a card room. Being a US player kinda sucks right now anyway, so I guess you have to take what you can get.

Yeah, I have to mix up FR and 6-max. If you play at peak times it's possible to get 18 tables up. Lately I've been playing on Revolution but I'm going to start playing on Merge again today actually lol.

25nl/50nl. I just put a small amount on BCP. Going to try to table select better and not just keep my roll all on one network.

50NL FR is completely dead lately. One table at most.

How are you depositing so easily as a US player?

I've pretty switched to 6-max because it's hard to find games on most sites. I use transfers to get money on Merge since they're still not accepting CCs I believe. WU is too much trouble for me to mess with lol. I've been lucky in that I've never really had trouble depositing on to Lock or Intertops with my VISA.

Speaking of Lock and Intertops... Whats my play?

A) Take the 50% Reload bonus on Intertops and eat the 50.00 Check fee later.

B) Make an account on Lock and take advantage of the first time deposit 200% bonus and deal with the current withdrawal circus?

I'm only depositing 500 and It's been well over 90 days since I've logged in to Intertops so I'm free and clear for RB on lock. Cash player BTW and Merge is way behind in numbers off peak.

My advice is to ask for RB on Intertops and just go with VIP program on Lock. Way more value that way on both sites. From there, it's just up to you if you don't mind waiting 2+ weeks for 2k WU cashouts or if you'd rather trade a slight RB hit for quicker access to your money on Intertops.
