I see poasts or hear rumors of someone loosing a large sum of money to an online poker site . Either due to the site taking the funds or to a haker . And I think " What the helll are they doing keeping 10K on line anyway ?" . My bank roll is starting to grow and I now have about $1100 on Stars and around $800 on other sites ( I know it is not much ) but I want to know where 2+2ers draw the line and start to withdraw funds . I understand never keep more $ online than you can afford to loose . irl I own a construction company and am not worried about the $ that much . But never do I like getting ripped off .

i only keep about 25% of my roll online at a time simply because im a little paranoid about anything happening. but honestly as long as youre not doing anything shady the sites have no reason to freeze your account. also i can redeposit easily if needed.

What if you play hu on full tilt for 1000.00 a pop, and you play every day. I imagine you are gonna need to keep a serious roll online.

In general never keep more money online then what you need to play with. Also for me it would depend on the site and their track record for closing accounts via suspicios reasons. And it matters how financially well off the site is since a website closing and stealing peoples money is a possibility.
