Cards hidden but still viewable at showdown? Cards hidden but still viewable at showdown?

Really doesn't matter that much, but...

This happens when you bet on the river, your opponent calls, and you win the pot. Their hole cards are hidden in the main screen. However, if you click a couple times for the hand reply/history, you can see their hand.

Not sure if every site does this, but at least a handful do.

Check out the 2:55 mark in this video. Its slightly different than the action I described, but the streamer has to open another window to see that his opponent had T8cc.

Rofl are you both for real? You have been able to see called and mucked hands in replayers for years now. Why you might ask? To make it easier to spot chip dumping collusion etc by the players. LOL.

I remember the first angry post about this feature (when the person did not know about it and thought his opponent was a superuser on Pokerstars). Think that was around 2005 or so. Nice to see that despite this being a feature in most HHs for the duration of online poker that there are still people who are shocked at it in 2022.

I’m not angry and I know this has been around. I’ve been clicking the replayer/history hundreds of times every session for years. I’m just wondering why they make you do that.

Edit: Actually I’ll backtrack. I would be annoyed if there’s no benefit.

It mimics live poker. You can ask to see it live too if you really want to.

I have known that it was possible to see mucked cards, but I donīt know how to do it anymore. If I click on replay of the hand, I donīt get to see the mucked hands. How can I see mucked hands on Pokerstars?

Edit:
I have been opening the replay of the hand by clicking on the hand in the down left corner, but mucked hands are still hidden. Maybe it is different when you click in the upper left corner. I figure requesting hand history will work, but that takes a bit more time, so I will be missing some of the play in the next hand.

I donīt know why I didnīt think I could see mucked cards on Pokerstars. I just played an SNG, and there they were in the replay.
