Victims of Eurolinx

I feel this deserves its own thread since it affects a lot of people from 2+2 and the income stolen may be in the millions.

Someone has posted that we should try to get something going so that we may have some chance at getting our money back. I suggest everyone write down how much was stolen from you and what % of that are you willing to contribute for that cause. Maybe if there is a large enough reward, someone might do something about it.

I lost 23k and will put 25% of it.

I lost 1600$.

Why are you hoping to hire a lawyer? If you say it is to get money back im afraid you just have to wait for the liquidators report.

Re: Victims of Eurolinx

I also think the idea of committing 25% to nothing specific but a "cause" is a bit silly.

Suing Eurolinx is a waste of money, they're defunct, and we don't even know if there is any money to recover.

You would have to target Microgaming in a lawsuit if you wanted any hope of recovering a loss from a lawsuit.

Re: Victims of Eurolinx

Its pretty obvious the owner didnt run off with all of your guys' money. He used your balances to try to keep his ****ty site afloat until even that failed. Your money is gone. If you are lucky the liquidators will uncover some assets and you will be able to get a small piece of your balance back. maybe 10-20% at best.

Reputable high stakes 2p2 told me that: "Jo Remme flew down 90 people to Malta for his wedding, and put them all up in the Hilton. There's some of your money right there."

And if you read where he got a loan from Myst for 200k.

Eurolinx was a very successful skin. There's no apparent reason for it to go under.

Thanks for the input, stranger.

Re: Victims of Eurolinx

I lost a small amount of money in this mess too, but all these happy claims about adding a percantage of the money lost makes it is obvious (or at least supicious) to me that most posted here doesnt have the full understanding what they are providing to.

You guys realize that if you lost 100K and say that you happily will pay 25% in help to hire an attorney, that it means that you will pay 25K more with the strong and also likely possibilty that you will not loose 100k but 125K?

If you guys really manages to pull this off and get a lawyer I really hope that not some poor guy gets stuck to pay the bill but that it is very clear to all contributers(which likely is very young and likely doesnt understand that this is an added 25% charge. NOT 25% of your bankroll IF you get lucky and get it back, I mean I am sure everybody could say they happily paid 80-90% of their BR when and if the money back as opposed to loose 100% if they do nothing) really understands that its not a 25% deduction IF the lawyer succeeds but a 25% added fee however the outcome, and that it should be paid upfront to the pool before. Also realize that It is utterly unlikely that it is as simple as a succesfull claim will award all playerfunds back, thus giving all contributors 75% of the bankroll back, to even get the 25 added cost back could be difficult until you know how much in debt eurolinx/betonbet is and then u only break even. And from all info provided so far itt seems to me that the debt is huge and also that big affiliates, moneylenders etc will get their money back before the players so most likelyif we get money back it will take years and will likely be a fraction of what we were owed...

Sorry if my post offends anyone( iwrite this spontanously and with not much thought in advance) , maybe someone wiser and more knowing in these matters could correct me if I am wrong and also make sure that nobody gets more hurt from this mess and knows if and when u should start a procees like this and how it shold work...

Reading this post should explain why el has no monies.

did anyone get paid lately? fwiw having 50% rb is not hard to acheive. "my friend" was getting 40% direct daily into el account from EL, and then his affiliate was getting (i think its 20%) [of this 20% "friend" split it 10/10] with affiliate. (so thats 60% of players total revenue the site never sees). I heard network took 17% off the top but that not 100% on this figure...

leaving el with a whoping 23% porfit from mgr. Granted friend always made 400-1k bi-weekly from rakeraces for over 9 months. Thus "friend" made ~64% rb at a personal level and EL made....

Leaving, ~7% total RB off a 120k, hands/mo player... Not to mention he bought and sold Stox membership for 4500 pts (which took him about 4 hrs to earn) and sold them for over ~90$ each... So im sure even the store was taking a 30-40$ hit daily.

seeerrrrssssly, 20k/mo rake, and EL saw like maaaaaaybe 2k max, im not even including reload bonus, AA promos, 7/2, and other random giveaways i was--- that HE was able to benifit form.

game set match. broke

Cliffnotes (breakdown of top players MGR)
40% player
20% affiliate
17% network
15% perks, pts, races etc.(this takes a lil explaing but its +/-2%.)
^include redemption value of ([cash:rb]/mgr) of over 600kpts for amazon cash vouchers.
If this analysis is even remotely close to being accurate, combined with _myst_ statement

7-8% of the gross daily rake ~ $3.5-$4k/day doesn't even cover the cost of wages for 43 employees much less your other fixed overheads.

Re: Victims of Eurolinx

~11500, in for any lawsuit on a % of recovery amount paid to lawyers, not too sure how keen I am on anything where I have to pay up front, because I don't think there is much to recover, sure we can get a judgement against him, but he's probably bankrupt
