Hello,

This is my first post so bare with me.

I have been playing on UPoker app for around 4 months now.

I have a theory and wanted to know if this is total rubbish or has some merit.

Over the 4 months everyone in the group has not won or lost a great deal. I'm talking 200 members with games running everyday for 4 months maybe on average 3 tables over 7 hours a day.

As admin I can see biggest winner is up 10k and biggest loser around the same 10k. This is with stakes up to 2/4 so reasonable stakes on offer.

The pattern I believe I'm seeing is when players are all in with equity odds of 80/20 or 70/30 they virtually seem to be at best 60/40 and when ran multiple times even less. The losing players still lose and of course, the same with winning players still winning. However I believe a algorithm or something is in place to make every all in as close to 50/50 as possible. Why would this be you ask?

The winning players still win but extremely slowly mainly with good bluffs or good calls but rarely via all ins pre. And the losing players still lose but slowly, alot slower!

Its gets classed as variance and laughable when you hear a player say " something seems wrong with this site" you get the classic " jesus dude how long have you been playing? "

I totally understand that response but we are not on about billion dollar poker sites likes Stars or party or 888 etc which is governed and taxed , we are talking about a poker app with no "real money" and in effect play chips.

These apps are worthless without the groups. When groups get your usual say 10 killers in and and they clean up what happens? The fish dont play, the group disbands and there is no group. How do These apps combat this... by making all ins equities virtually a flip and letting fish scoop pots in reality they would win 1in 5 times it's now half the time.

I say this as a winning player in a group I am part of. I have seen averaging 50/50 wins on hundreds of 80/20 cases. It just feels wrong and I couldnt understand what was wrong, and I felt there would be 0 reason that anything could be off why would ther be.

But when I see groups constantly closing because it's just full of killers and these groups are limited and have nothing like the traffic the regulated sites have it now makes sense to me that this kind of tampering could be possible. If groups survive they make money on diamonds etc. If the groups are just full of winners they know they disband.

So profits and losses with the all in equities being so close are spread so much more evenly and their longevity keeping the groups going remains in tact.

This is just a theory that only tonight makes sense to me after seeing 5 80/20s in a row lose which I know is highly probable sight maybe every now and then. But constant nights had my brain ticking.

Is this theory madness? If you're a winning player which I am on the app it can be hard to comprehend. "I'm winning nothings wrong dont be stupid" However, should you be winning 2x in reality!?

Are the all in races actually accurate equities? It just feels wrong and appears wrong I have been playing online 15 years and everything about it seems strange to me.

I'd hate people to be playing on something that is potentially not pure.

If I'm talking **** and theory is ridiculous please tell me why.

Thanks for taking the time to read this hope I havent bored anyone

Cheers

hey,

so the only info i find on the club is on their facebook site. In a post from 10 months ago they wrote that 1 chip = 0.33 USD
Now an affiliate told me that´s old and 1 chip = 1 USD

What´s the truth?

Thanks!

At one point that's what a chip was worth. Early last year it was changed to 1:1 for chip:usd.

OP, I'm not reading that novel.
