What you are describing is a game that has quite a few, if not all regs at the tables, who are playing games with each other, creating a meta or dynamic, that has you thinking way more than you should at stakes not even worth playing!
That is what I'm saying, but I think I don't I get the point.
I can only say that sitting and waiting for a good hand is not good poker, it's especially miserable to do it at a stake not worth playing.
But if that stake had a dynamic that was more similar to the higher stakes environment, then maybe it does have a little more worth (depending how involved/ambitious you are with poker).
Also it's sad for me to be on a poker forum that see's lag as a strategy too complex to bother learning or even as a table dynamic too hard to play on (even if it's just for pennies).
