Nick, you mention Phil discussing the changes in the update on the twitch channel. Is there anyway you could summaris them here as the twitch video is almost 2 hours long.

Our team does have access to hand histories and we ask players to share as many details as possible so it's easier for our team to locate the hand(s) in question.
If you have access to all players hand histories could you just send people their hand histories if they request them via email until players is able download them from software? (Like stars does)

Run It Once,

is there a reasonable chance to see either Webmoney or player-to-player transactions in the near future?

Skrill is super greedy with their currency conversion, would really love to have more withdrawal methods available.

Hey Husker,

Yes, of course. As previously mentioned, Phil plays on our latest testing client. This allows viewers to see new UX improvements we've made. A few of these include updated Splash The Pot animations, female avatars, and new table backgrounds. It also showcases improvements made to different visual bugs, most importantly the fast show-down speed.

Phil notes that many of the changes in this release are architectural changes that won't be obvious through surface-level UI improvements, but should make a difference in stability, performance, and how quickly we can develop moving forward.

He also announces a change we're making related to splash the pot in PLO. We'll no longer count the "splash" towards the maximum bet. He explains how we made this switch due to the communities suggestions and recommendations.

Then throughout the stream, Phil answers various questions from the viewers on a wide range of topics.

In due time, We plan to release a condensed version of the stream on our YouTube channel.

Hi Delfins,

Currently, we aren't in a place to be able to facilitate bulk HH downloads even if delivery is through email. We are working hard on this and hope to be able to do this soon.

Hi BadSeed,

We'd like to have both options available in the future, but they aren't likely to be just around the corner. If and when either option become available, we'll make a public announcement.

They took the servers down about 21:30 UK time last night to do some post-client update server maintenance and have not announced it's fully operational yet.

I'm not even until someone reports the client is playable. The least a RIO rep should do is come here and report which bugs have been fixed.

I downloaded the new client installer, but everytime I try to run it the following message appear ''Rio Poker is still running. Please log out and exit from Run It Once Poker before installing''. Thing is, I'm not logged in, no RIO processes running, restarted the PC and even uninstalled the old software, but still can't install the new one. Thoughts?

Hi everyone,

As mentioned above, we did roll out a client update on the 29th. It's a significant update, and as 22underbluffed pointed out, we're still ironing out some kinks, so we haven't made any public announcements related to the release.

We're growing more confident with the release, but we expect there to be a few more adjustments over the next few days.

We'll make another announcement in the coming days with more information.

Thank you for your patience.

I can't install the god-damned upgrade because it thinks RIO is already running...which it isn't. Why, oh why, did I go against my instincts and try to install this piece of ****?

Free advice:

Release a client version that doesn't require a computer engineer to install and debug just to play a hand of poker.

Hey 22underbluffed and Adjusted,

Apologies for the problem you experienced while trying to download the latest client update. We've resolved this issue and it would be great if you gave the download one more try. Please let us know if you run into any troubles.

Thanks.

great update, rio has become completely unplayable now. Just getting a table to play on is nearly impossible, but when i do get seated at a table it almost always crashes. I mean I find it pretty incredible the software has become worse after the update. I have reinstalled runitonce like 5 times, it doesnt solve anything...

Hi Broe,

I'm very sorry to hear you are having issues with the new build. As I mentioned above, we had a few things to work out after such a large update. We believe this issue is only affecting a small number of users at this point, and we are working hard to resolve it quickly for those who are still being affected.

Just installed the new update, it went well. I'm playing PLO and the client is running smoothly. I was able to sitout and sit back in so the sitout bug is gone for me too. Good job on the update.

Hey everyone,

As some of you may know, last week we published a software update. This was a major update addressing a number of infrastructural changes that will improve how quickly we can develop moving forward. We've also improved performance, stability, fixed a number of bugs, and added some UI improvements. With this being such a major update, we wanted to make sure things were running smoothly before making a public announcement. Over the last few days, we've ironed out the larger kinks and have received positive feedback from players.

We hope you will check it out, and we look forward hearing your feedback on the update! A full list of changes can be found in our help centre under May 29th release notes.

Please download the new release from our website. Moving forward, the client will update automatically upon launching it.

Thanks guys
