iPoker new software Tournament lobby problem

I don't know if it is just me but when I'm playing a tournament and I leave the tournament lobby open (to see my position), after a while the whole client crashes and I have to run the client again.

This way I lose all my tables' setup. Plus I miss a lot of hands when rebooting the client. I would never play high stakes there.

But it must be just me. BTW I play on different iPoker skins on different computers and they all crash the same way when I leave a tourney lobby open for a while.

Dealing with support is totally tilting so I don't bother.

Anyone else saw this?

ANy of you having problem cashing out on IPOKER? I tried cashing out via bank transfer and ipoker insisted that the funds were processed but yet they reversed my request after having to wait 4 weeks.

It could be just an isolated case but would like to hear from you guys if you are having the same problem.

Unless I'm mistaken I don't think I've ever heard of there being a central iPoker cashier, so this thread should probably be about the site you're playing on.

I know that the bigger skins run their own cashier separate from ipoker. Never heard of ipoker running their own cashier but I guess they could be doing that at some of the smaller skins.

Hi! I'm playing on titan poker, nickname - felllony. I had a problem with titan poker. 29.08.1991 I have four sng tables registered on total sum of 1980$. For some reasons I have to relaunch poker client. But after that I coudn't log in to my account because I got error message when starting software "Casino component "common" is missing and can not be downloaded. Please check your Internet connection and restart casino. If problem persists, please contact Customer Support for immediate assistance."
I (and some of friends) had this message a lot of times before, but usually after 1-2 tries it works fine. But now I coudn't do anything. I even tried from another computer (and another provider) and nothing helped. I immidiately wrote to support asking them to unreg my tables. Also, to make it faster, I asked my friend to contact online support to ask them for the same. Which actually saved me a bit cause they unreg 520$ table. But for another 3 tables it was late, I was blinded off from another 3 tables, so I lost 1460$. After that support asked me to send screenshot and they'll look for refund. I made it and after 12 days I got "You might have encountered connectivity issues but none of which can be attributed to any server malfunction on our side. Therefore, we regret to inform you that we are unable to issue a refund in this case." What is it and what connectivity issues are they mean when I had soft problem ? Also, after the incident, I asked titan support several time to help me solve this soft problem but they didn't, just few stupid and useless advices. So now and I have to reinstall titan client every time to launch it. The same with second computer, I don't know what to do. Anyway, it's not my fault and I don't wanna lost money because of it. As I said I had these messages many times before, and it's quite widespread problem, you can find found same case in google. Seems titan knew about this bug. I lost money because of it and they didn't resolve it.

Can't even imagine something similar on pokerstars.

Might be that we are in 2012, not 1991.

Came across mass disconnection issues a couple of times today which were definitely on their end. Whenever I managed to log back in there were entire tables of SNGs sitting out. The player count in the lobby was going haywire, up and down by thousands at a time.

Still took support about 5 minutes of being questioned to admit there'd been a problem mind.

Anyone had refunds yet? Or know what the policy is? Was playing a bunch of sng's, got back with about 2-3 bb's in each and busted 90%, going to be tilted if they say I'm not entitled to some sort of refund because I was back in time to shove my crippled stacks.

The procedure that the software uses when you change tables in an MTT is far and away the most tilting thing I have seen on any website

Cant say I agree with their whole "we are doing maintenance and by being on the site at this time you accept this risk" line

Have to appreciate their fairly consistent record of maintaining decent traffic/ quality of games

I have problems with using any of the ipoker skins it seems like. They download and install fine, however i'm unable to click on anything in the software and it's kind of in a "freeze" mode and the loading circle to my mouse is just blinking. Screenshots won't help anything because everything looks normal, i'm just unable to use the software :S Tried bet365, william hill and titan so far, anyone have a solution to this?

I play PLO on ipoker 6m 2/4 - 10/20 exclusively, my friend who plays NL almost exclusively on ipoker as well linked me to this article and it worries me greatly.

http://www.pokerstrategy.com/news/wo...ferings_78747/

Point 1. The currency thing I don't think matters too much, people are saying that it's a rake grab which it very likely is but realistically I don't it will either encourage nor discourage players.

Point 2. "Clear Simple Accessible games offering" I e-mailed Ipoker before asking them to at least CONSIDER implementing 'Stars "King of the Hill" system for the 6m games. It's been successful on stars and ipoker has a real problem with this right now IMO. That is the change that they should make before anything else.
I'm delighted to see the back of turbo tables though!

Point 3. LOL that "staying up to speed with market trends" = implementing a timebank 10years after everyone else.

Point 4. is the main point that worries me

4. Protecting players' funds

iPoker's efforts to optimise their games selection does not end with the above actions of condensing and reducing variants. They are also looking at their games selection with a clear aim to protect less skilled players that tend to lose their money, having analysed the loss per player for every stake. With this analysis iPoker have identified specific stakes which they will remove.

What do you interpret this to mean? Are they considering segregating player pools like party? Or does this just mean they are removing high stakes games?

If they have researched that weaker player lose more bb/100 at 3/6 than 2/4, so they are going to remove 3/6 then I people who were losing at 3/6 will now lose at 2/4 or 5/10 so that can't be it. If they are saying that bad players lose more at 50/100 than at 2/4 then whoever uncovered that hidden gem of consumer research needs a medal lol. Seems that they want people to just lose $10k in 11,000 hands of 2/4 and not 111 hands of 25/50 which seems like VERY short sighted logic.

Whatever the true intention of point 4 is I'm fairly confident that it is not designed for the benefit of the players.

Does anyone from iPoker post/read 2+2 who would be able to comment? iPoker has a reputation for being pretty ignorant to players requests and most people who have a lot of experience with them will prolly struggle to give examples to defend them.

It would be very encouraging to get some comments on this, none of the changes here seem to me like they will offer ANY real additional benefit to the professional or recreational players.

Currently very disappointed.

There is a good chance that we will be disappointed after the changes.

"We can exclusively announce that iPoker will be optimising their game offering to be more simple, coherent and easier to navigate."

^^ Can't wait to see that, the software lobby is horrible to navigate.

in reality they haven't really said anything solid except phasing out $ tables and the altering table format.

TO their credit I think just having Shallow/Normal/Annon/Ante tables and losing all the diff types is a good step. They really really really need to address the hundred of people sat on empty 6m tables refusing HU action though.

However everything else is just riddles, and like you say seems unlikely to be positive changes for the players
