Exactly lol, every site I've ever played on had these issues going back go pre black Friday including the new regulated sites today. The reason you shouldn't be playing on this site is because they have one of the highest cash game rake on the planet. In defense to BetOnline this rarely happens on this platform and I really hate defending them

Does anyone get frequent lag on the client? I have been trying everything. Disable antivrus, lowering fps in the game client. For whatever reason, various tables become unresponsive for up to 20 seconds for spurts and then it works fine. Doesn't happen at all tables either. I don't think it's a network issue. Support hasn't been much help.

Is there any sort of logging that can help me troubleshoot?

It doesn't happen a lot for me but, at least some of the time, it would have to be BOL. While playing two games, I have had one slow or even disconnect and the other continued fine. The problem game would often correct by itself.

Wish BOL would not have changed a few of these $22s on their schedule to mystery bounty events. Sigh.

When only one game has problems, and another is working fine, it is probably BOL since everything is the same between you and them (wireless, network, etc.). You can check the network status by opening a browser window and try another website. You can try https://radar.weather.gov/ . It is fairly data heavy. If another website is working, it is probably BOL. Although, it is possible for another website to travel a different internet path. If you are using Windows, you can right click the your connection icon and select troubleshoot. I would sit out first (you may loose connection temporarily).

I have it too, playing on TigerGaming, but here's the thing - I only have this lag when playing via mobile hotspot (speed/location doesn't matter, it's something with the nature of the connection) and there's never lag when I switch to router wifi.

I only use router wifi but you notice I said it doesn't happen often.

Something to remember for mobile users. Although 4G can go up to 100Mbps, the average download speed in the USA is 5 to 12 Mbps (1/2 for uploads). 5G can be 10 to 100 times faster, but you may not always be in 5G areas.

I am going to make a bit of a radical post here but I have thought of a reason to not play at BetOnline. BetOnline has an official poker odds calculator. It is the same thing as Holdem Indicator. Holdem Indicator is shady as hell. If you don't believe me, email him. If your email is even in the slightest bit unflattering to him or his software, he will ignore you. Totally unprofessional. I'm not saying be rude to him but if you question him in any way, he will not reply to you. Holdem indicator is supposed to work on play money games, but I have tried it on Ignition and it does not work. I emailed him and asked him why and he sent me a 24 hour license key. Holdem indicator is advertised to be free on play money games but when you ask him, he gives you a measly 24 hour trial period. If this was a 24 hour period on real money games, that would be one thing but he advertises one thing, and when you ask him what the problem is he gives you something totally different. I then contacted him again telling him that I was not asking for a free 24 hour trial period at real money games but why it does not work for free on play money as advertised. He ignored me at this point. This is totally shady and where I come from, if you are going to be in business, you reply to your customers, even if they are rude sometimes. I have also noticed over the years that people in the business of poker add on software such as odds calculators, tend to be really shady. Is it the gambling aspect of this business? To me, it does not matter what business you are in whether it be gambling, adult entertainment, or recreational marijuana, you treat your customers right. Just because a large section of society looks down on it, you still do right by those who are trying to do right by you, even if they get a little snippy at times.

With that being said, the mere fact that BetOnline will do business with this guy is a legitimate reason for poker players to not do business with them. That is what is right for me. It may not be right for everyone else and that is ok. I will boycott BetOnline and play at Ignition sans calculator. Most of you probably play without an add on calculator and are wondering why someone would care so much about playing with one. It just makes the calculation easier and the game go smoother. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong.
