+1 I am not depositing anymore bitcoin to them until they take the fee off. I would snap play if they throw the fee off. It's the whole point of going bitcoin.

I went through their TOS and don't see anything indicating it is not OK. I saw a post at some point in the past about it not being allowed, but it seems to have been changed. A reg could confirm for you

Many regs have played 500K+ hands with HUDs. It seems like a non-issue to the site.

There are converters that make the HHs readable for HM/PT. Just search the forum for "betonline" and you will find some.
I wouldnt buy from "noelte" though, he's a greedy mofo who forces people to buy a new license every time you reinstall windows or upgrade your hardware.

Chico lead man First I will say the software is stellar and enjoy the action on the site. The site is growing and playerpools is larger than ever before. The rake is adequate and fair.

Please, I get why you may charge fees for CC payments and money gram etc but Bitcoin?

I have heard from support there that the reason for the fee is the processing arrangement of it being held anonymous. I can see that with the transactions beside Bitcoin. I can see the heavy lifting it takes to process funds on your site for CC, MG and WU. The real beef with charging a fee for Bitcoin is that the processing is on our side, not the Wallets that receive deposits. The engine is blockchain and the processing of funds "heavy lifting" is the players who are depositing, not the site at all. You may have security team to check fraudulent activity but that is what your rake and tourney fees are for.

The Bitcoin players in some cases, especially if you are new to Bitcoin are already charged a fee to exchange US dollars to Bitcoin. Then in turn get a double hit on fees that in some cases are more from Chico (Betonline). In actuality I would argue that Bitcoin players actually could be paying more to put money on the site than just using a credit card. So I vote this, take Bitcoin off as a payment option or drop the stupid fee please.

So the reason for the fee that Chico tech support is saying is "we have a fee to continue providing an anonymous transaction" which is hogwash. The site would soar if you actually encourage players to deposit with Bitcoin and lead them in that direction. It's safer for BetOnline and for the online poker community as a whole. Chico do the right thing for you and for your loving BOL community Drop The BTC fee and embrace the Crypto!

^^^ I can't believe you said to take Bitcoin off as a payment option. That would be terrible for the player pool. Lots of people don't have credit cards, so this is their best option to get a lot of money deposited quickly.

I am being a bit extreme but just trying to prove a point. It's not right. 6.5% fee to deposit using Bitcoin? Ok I hadn't even crossed the path of another fee. A withdrawal fee of 2%.

So if you are ok to do a 500.00 and burn 46.25 bucks that goes to Betonline for their effort of giving you a wallet on the site and then charge you rake and tourney fees and say you do withdraw back and double your deposit withdrawing 1k you withdraw with Bitcoin and you pay another 20.00 so in all total in just fees (not including rake and tourney fees) you pay BetOnline 66 bucks.

So hopefully you are mining your Bitcoin because if you use a bank account tied to Circle or coinbase and worst using local bitcoins to find your Bitcoin don't forget to add that fee to. It could be possible to get in cheaper with paying for your deposit via credit card.

The degenerates gamblers, (the ones we get our highest winrates from), don't care about the fees. The fees are ridiculous I agree. But to say to remove the option is Ludacris. Limiting the availability of fish to deposit won't do a damn thing. Complaining to remove the fees is much better. : )
