feels like their email scared a lot of people away, must be a ton of cashouts and they lack liquidity to pay everyone

Just signed up for the site. Any downsides to making my first deposit with credit card? Does that affect my ability to cashout with bitcoin?

I have a trezor; just much easier to deposit with cc and I'm multitasking at the moment.

Already mentioned this on previous page, maybe you missed it. I was paid Monday. I think it was Wednesday last week that I requested the withdrawal.

I did get a response from the financial services email address. It didn't clarify anything, just the same paragraph we've already seen about prohibited software. Then a cut and paste from their "poker rules". I emailed back right away asking them to address this situation.

Anyone else experience the bug where the client crashes when closing a table? It has been happening more and more to me.

I can't figure out what is triggering it because it is not every single time but about half the time I leave a table (either by closing window or clicking 'leave table') it freezes the whole client and Windows gives me a message that the program is not responding.

Haven't seen that one yet myself. Any chance it's 3rd party software related?

I received my money 48 hours after cash out. ROW player with Skrill. Very happy with deposits/withdrawals at BOL.

1) Disable Internet Explorer. Period.
2) Download Adobe Shockwave.
3) Update Windows.
4) If that still fails, reinstall the BOL client.
5) That should do it.
Also, make sure you try to run the program as administrator. Sometimes your installation folder can cause issues due to permission. The portable version of BOL that comes as an option when installing is used for computers that don't have admin permissions.

Thanks for the help from both of you guys. Haven't had the bug since I took those steps. I always appreciate the support from other players on the site to help deal with issues and keep playing.

I honestly feel like BOL player pool/community is the healthiest and strongest of any US facing site and I hope we can keep growing it.

Haven't played BOL for a while but I logged in tonight to play a micro MTT. Traffic seems to be way down.

I'd say since Monday there's been noticeably less NLHE cash game traffic than normal around my stakes. Until Monday it seemed like cash game traffic was mostly increasing. While there are still some cash game bots around, even their volume seems down.

I don't think I've seen such a noticeable decrease in traffic since last year when the Australians got the boot and a large amount of bots were removed around the same time. That was also in the Spring which is when people start getting out of the house more in the US.

I'm not sure if those software emails are playing a role, if some of those payout delays and posts are playing a role, if they've banned some players for using prohibited software or what the deal is. Hopefully traffic picks back up as the weekend approaches.

Thanks CRUDEFINDER! I appreciate the support.

I know I've seen you make some helpful posts in here too. There's actually a lot of good people who post on 2+2 that I've learned from. It's one of the reasons why I enjoy trying my best to help as well.

I can only hope that one day I'll be as good as you are at this silly game we play for large sums of money so that I can also get banned from rooms and advise others to avoid them.

Got paid yesterday morning, BTC. I think payouts don't really get moved along on weekends. So if you request Friday, it could be 5 calendar days. Request Monday, you usually get Weds or Thurs at the latest.

Got denied my first cashout, requested again 24 hours ago, nothing happened yet, ill keep you guys updated.

Feels like cashouts are slower and traffic much lower. Hopefully they didnt hurt themselves too much with that ****ty email

Turns out blindly accusing your clients of cheating may not be the wisest business move. Especially when there are dozens of super obvious cheaters (bots) running around that they do nothing about.

Also talked to a reg who quit the site b/c he was fed up over cashout delays and requests for the same account verification info over and over.

It's my biggest w/d yet and am slightly concerned when it usually takes under 48 hours. Also, they did not reply to me when I asked for clarification regarding the email (this is over 72 hours as well). I'm definitely on the high end in terms of rake paid among players - this is unacceptable.

*Shrugs*
On my second warning and am not using anything illegal. Support and live chat are both not giving any real answers. This is crazy

A friend had an agent tell him stack and tile, card catcher, and pt4 were fine. Others are saying no 3rd party software at all.

This is a part of an email I got this morning-

We thank you for the information provided on the potential BOT players as we do not permit them on the Network. We are in the process of the investigation.

Please be advised that as long as you do not make use of any BOT, AI, GTO or Seating Script software your account will have no issues with the Chico Network. Software like Hold’em manager is allowed

We hope that you find this information useful. We look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Best Regards,

Mike .

The problem is some agents are saying all 3rd party software is not allowed. There isn't a consistent answer from them.

I'm hopeful that the delays are due to nothing more than higher than usual transactions they need to process. The emails couldn't have helped in that regard. I'm not too worried that the emails will be detrimental to their traffic in the long-term, but we'll have to wait and see how it goes moving forward.

While I greatly appreciate their intentions and their attempt to be proactive in discouraging prohibited software, I think their plan and execution was poor. I am hopeful that they can improve going forward, especially if they are open and receptive to our feedback when their dedicated forum opens.

2nd emails now? It seems to me like they should have suspended sending those until they were sure that they were detecting the correct prohibited software.

I'm also aware of a few regs who never received any email about prohibited software, including myself.

Not really. There's some stuff in the rules about table blocking.

I really don't think strict interpretations and enforcement of those kinds of rules would be good for their traffic or that such rules can be an overall net benefit to any site. The large majority of cash games run around recreational players. You can't force players to play in -ev games. Many people would just choose not to play.

Randomized seating is the approach some networks have implemented. I'm not really sure what the effects on traffic that has caused for those sites. The one that I can play on, Ignition/Bovada/Bodog, has anonymous games and they aren't transparent with their traffic numbers. I'd love to see the data to see whether randomized seating is beneficial or detrimental to traffic.

I'm disappointed that a clarification email has not been sent out to everybody who received the original email. It's pretty clear to me what software they're trying to discourage, but there still seems to be plenty of confusion for a lot of others. They need to make all of their employees and customers aware of what the actual policy is.

Granted it is evening time but traffic seems to have recovered for the most part. Haven't seen anywhere close to this many cash tables in a week or so I think.
