E-mail support and ask, it should be okay but you will not get the deposit bonus again.

Re: Unofficial Chico Network (BetOnline, Tiger, etc.) Discussion Thread

Pretty sure they lowered the payout for the bad beat jackpot. On the site it says 17.5% goes to the loser of the bad beat jackpot. I remember seeing 20% earlier this month. Also the administration fees use to be the same as the winner of the bad beat jackpot at 12.5%, but is now at 15%. It seems they shaved off 2.5% of the prize money of the bad beat jackpot and added it to the administration fees.

I mean, I guess they can do what they want, but I think it would have been better to do that for the next jackpot if they wanted to. It just seems a bit sneaky is all. In the future, players may be more hesitant to play if they know the prize money can be changed at a whim.

Re: Unofficial Chico Network (BetOnline, Tiger, etc.) Discussion Thread

If you go back a page or about 15 posts in this thread you will see that it was first mentioned here by Makati. You're correct about both the actual change and the displeasure people have with how they're going about this promotion. I especially agree with you that changing the payouts in the middle of the promotion looks shady. They just decided to take a larger piece of the pie when the jackpot got to the highest total it has ever been at. They should have waited until this one paid out before changing the payouts.

I've also noticed a slight increase in botting activity in the NLHE games lately. If one of those douchebags wins the jackpot I will cash out my entire roll.

Does anyone know what happens to all incomplete Final Tables, due to maintenance?

Re: Unofficial Chico Network (BetOnline, Tiger, etc.) Discussion Thread

Absolutely unreal... I'm not someone who comes on here and complains but I was signed off due to maintenance with a ton of chips on a Final Table, where I find myself out of the tournament when I was able to sign back in. I then checked my Hand History and noticed there were a few other players who had connection who actually were just raising every hand blinding me and other players out. I even spoke to a rep, who stated the whole system was down and nobody is able to play. Damn... I'm tired of all these unregulated scummy sites. I gotta move my ass to at least Canada to really be clicking on the right sites.

Re: Unofficial Chico Network (BetOnline, Tiger, etc.) Discussion Thread

Network maintenance started at 5am EST. I know because I was at the Cash tables until it shut down. There was a notice on the tables and lobby all day. They said tournaments would be shut down early.

Are you saying they booted you before 5am EST and didn't allow you to log back in?

I did see an odd notice at about 3am EST that said "We're sorry for the inconvenience. Tournaments will resume at 3:15am." Perhaps they accidentally stopped ongoing tournaments early and had to restart them.

I wonder if this has anything to do with a possible mtt series coming, as listed on their website. Hoping, at least

That's actually a pretty informative tournament page. I've never seen that before. Seems like they're looking to do some cool stuff with the tournaments. A potential MTT series would be great.

What is the cash out process like on BetOnline? Have deposited many times but never cashed out. Have deposited using MG, CC, and BTC in the past. Would prefer to use MG or BTC to cash out. How long is the process? What does it entail?

Request a bitcoin withdrawal and enter your wallet's address. It then gets approved and sent to your wallet. After approval you should receive an email. Be on the lookout for this email if you don't wish to keep your funds in bitcoin. This usually happens within 24hrs, but often much faster. If they need you need you to send documentation or review your account then the whole process may take a few days.

Re: Unofficial Chico Network (BetOnline, Tiger, etc.) Discussion Thread

Yeah they booted me at around 2:15am, I wasn't able to sign back in at 3:15am. I spoke to the rep and she told me you will be able to sign back in, in about an hour and begin where you left off in the tournament. I was actually in 2 FT's and found myself out of both. I'm going to send them screen shots right now of my hand history, how I was sitting out and blinding out. I just don't understand why other players were still connected and I wasn't. Which, they specified no one was playing at the time.

This **** happened to me a few months back for the SNG Leaderboard, which is why I stepped away from them. Where they robbed me of another $500 for first. All I'm saying is... They better not screw me when I hit the 1 milly Jackpot or a nice little 5 finger payday.

Re: Unofficial Chico Network (BetOnline, Tiger, etc.) Discussion Thread

There isn't an active cashout thread for this network. Every now and then people will leave a cashout update in here. I haven't seen anybody mention any issues with withdrawals recently. If you've completed all rollover requirements, and if you haven't broken any rules, then you shouldn't have issues cashing out.

Re: Unofficial Chico Network (BetOnline, Tiger, etc.) Discussion Thread

Over the weekend I noticed multiple tables with 3 bots. I saw a 50nl table that had 5 bots on it at one point. The overall botting activity on the nlhe cash tables is not quite back to the levels it has been in the past, but it has definitely been increasing a lot lately. I recently emailed them a list of the offenders. I hope they do the right thing and start removing them.

PLO bot activity is also pretty high and 2 new bot accounts have popped up in the last few weeks. I wonder why there's been a surge in bot activity in both formats lately.

Please explain why you would highly doubt that? What do you know about the botting that takes place on this network?

I don't post the names publicly for a few different reasons, but I may be willing to do it at some point. If the botting activity continues to increase I might do it to see if it gets a better result than me just regularly emailing my list to customer support.

I am willing to send my bot list to members here via private message. I've been tracking bots on this network for the last couple of years and I'm 99% certain that every account name I have listed is using automated assistance.

One likely reason for their increase in both formats is just that traffic in general has been increasing lately. They probably don't want to run a ton of bots when traffic is low that constantly play against each other, even though that is what ends up happening when there's so many on one table. The Bad Beat Jackpot is obviously an enticing reason for the increase on the NLHE side, but I'm seeing more bot activity even at the stakes without the BBJ.

5 bots on a 6max 50nl table is just ridiculous. I had no problem recommending people to play here since last Spring, but I can't do that when there is this kind of stuff going on.

Re: Unofficial Chico Network (BetOnline, Tiger, etc.) Discussion Thread

Definitely agree with mcachitown about nl bots at the tables. At 25nl around 5-8 "regs" with nearly identical preflop stats who respond almost identically to certain spots with certain hand strengths. The bots seem to be beating the games fairly well over my 35k sample so far. They also have some repetitive timing patterns that I would have assumed bots specifically wouldn't have.

I think the bots are very exploitable so I'm fairly ambivalent towards them. I think far fewer games would run without them so despite the clear ethical problems I guess I'm not complaining too loudly. I'd rather have 3 bots than 2 players with identical win rates who will adjust specifically to me. I'm unsure how much they will adjust to a specific player long term but I don't see them adjusting at all in certain postflop spots so far.

I actually find it interesting to put together a game plan against a bot as it will involve so many more hands than against an individual reg who is also something of a moving target adjusting along with you.

Obviously I would prefer a fullproof bot detection/ban system as they will only get better over time. But the reality seems to be that if you want to play on a us facing site you will have to play with bots. I have no plans to play on bovada ever again specifically because of how hard it would be to beat bots without the ability to label them as bots. I would guess they are very hard to beat in the anonymous zoom format specifically.

Re: Unofficial Chico Network (BetOnline, Tiger, etc.) Discussion Thread

I don't know how it is in NLHE, but even at PLO 100 and 200 the bots are absolutely slaughtering casual players and even do pretty well at tougher tables.

I agree that once you figure them out they are exploitable, but it definitely isn't worth the damage they do to the games, and they are there day in/day out hammering away at new players. I don't see how this is good.

Re: Unofficial Chico Network (BetOnline, Tiger, etc.) Discussion Thread

I figure the number of tables would be half what it is now at micro stakes and that does have some value. I would obviously prefer them gone as sharing card info between bots is obviously the next step and may already be happening. I can only imagine how effective a plo bot ring with 2/3 seats at a table would be. Unfortunately the sites available don't seem to care. My paranoid mind also wonders about the sites themselves operating the bots and worse.

@MCAChiTown

Can you PM me the list. I've played a lot of 100NL on the site and I haven't noticed any suspicious activity. I'm not sure how you guys are spotting these bots. Are you sure they aren't humans that just play a mechanical style?
