I have no idea what criteria they look at to determine what accounts to captcha. I regularly send them bot lists and was sent a captcha while I was 3-tabling last Spring. I can't imagine my style of play would set off any red flags related to botting. It was likely sent to me at random or the employee who sent it wanted to make me aware that they're doing something about the bots. It's either not being used enough or the remaining bot account owners have been present when the captcha was sent.

So it seems like I ran away from ACR because it was swamped with bots and now I'm reading this :/

At least I can say the games are definetely significantly softer, mostly playing 25PLO atm

First timer / lurker. Last night I made my first deposit on BoL via BC. 14 hrs later nothing is showing. Is this typical? I sent an email to Poker@.... but only got an automated reply with an incident #.

What is the normal turnaround? On other sites using BC my experience was less than an hour - closer to 10-15 min. Tks.

Yes, although you can't tell for sure if they are bots or just really good poker players.

You might have to transfer from sportsbook under cashier.

There have certainly been reports and I'd be very surprised if they weren't correct. Bots can be found on almost every site, in almost every game type, and at almost all stakes/buy-in levels.

It's not rocket science, but it does take a trained eye to make the distinction between a bot and a reg these days. Anybody with a solid understanding of poker, a good amount of experience playing in the games, and a good sample of data could tell you with a pretty good level certainty if you're dealing with a bot account. You will find that most bots have certain tendencies that regs just don't exhibit.

My withdrawal was denied and my account is under a 72 hour security check. However its been longer then 72 hours. No email from them like they said was coming. I called them and guy on phone says my account is still under review. He says he will write an email to the security department. I don't understand why my account is under security check and they are being vague about it. They say "only 1 account per household" and "your account has been linked to another account through devices" but they wont get more specific then that.

I started playing there 5 weeks ago. I apparently had an old ass account signed up already...but lady on phone helped me update email and password and also helped me make my first bitcoin deposit. Since then I've been winning and I was making my 2nd withdrawal when it got denied and account put on "security check" Wish my mind was more at ease....dont really know whats going on and I need access to my funds. have 1500-2000 on there. I guess im going to call them again monday when they answer.

I haven't done anything wrong and them accusing me and mentioning multiple accounts is super sketchy. Anyone with a similar experience to ease my mind? Or advice on where to go from here?

If you haven't done anything wrong then you probably shouldn't worry. They do occasional security checks on accounts that make multiple withdrawals. There's not much advice to offer except to be patient, be polite and explain your situation clearly if asked, and continue to follow up if you don't hear back soon.

Thank for the response. Youre the only one who plays on betonline that has told me these security checks actually happen. I know I'm not supposed to worry when I haven't done anything wrong but I'm worried anyways. Just got off phone with them again and they said the same as yesterday. "Review isn't completed, we need more time, we will contact you by email. I wish that unblocking my account was more of a priority for them. Hopefully this is resolved soon

+1. I've been playing here since 2015 and have had several security checks. Sometimes they've required more info/docs and it has always taken a bit of time(few days to a couple weeks) but it has always resolved itself when they completed the investigation. It was annoying but I had nothing to hide and if you are clean too, it will be ok soon enough. Take a few days off and do something fun you wouldn't normally have time to do. Cheers.

I haven't seen that before. What antivirus do you use? Have you tried disabling it and then launching the client? Have you checked to see if all of your drives are up-to-date?

Couldn't answer that, maybe a question for bot forums. I would speculate something like this: bots are like employees and employees have bosses that oversee them right? People who are serious botters are probably treating this as a business and are probably pretty engaged with their resources fairly regularly. They may even be adjusting their bot coding during sessions based on their observations.
