WP Chico! Just screwed up the best available FullRing CG action.

It's been like this for awhile. The bots usually play in shifts instead of around the clock to avoid attention. It's comical how often one leaves and another takes its place a minute later. They usually only play 3-4 tables instead of every table at the limits they're at. They don't usually try to win the cash rake races, instead finishing in the 3rd-10th range. I would guess these are all done to try and escape notice. However I strongly suspect there's some type of agreement between the site and botters. Like "you follow these unwritten rules and we won't ban you".

And suddenly it just so happens that there are sweeping changes to the site and: A) Banning some of the bots isn't one of them and B) The changes that are put into place don't affect the bots at all.

In most post add on situations, a single buy in plus add on has 4500 on 300/700. The ****? The last 30' pre add on a buy in has 4, 3 and 2.5 blinds. Seriously, I like the idea of slower tournaments and all, but... what were you thinking?

Wow I'm not sure if I like these changes that are going on with the tournaments yet. Part of me absolutely loves it. Part of me kinda hates it. Just wish these kind of tournaments were on here 3 years ago when I played everyday

Yea, it makes no sense. If they want it like this and for it to stay, which I think most would agree - as far it having a better progressing blind structure - then they should start those mtts off w a much bigger starting stack, like 5 or 10k.

Ya these tournament structures are crazy. 5 rebuy is a two hour long period until you get to add on to be lucky to have more than 10 big blinds.

The stars are just an indication of how much you've payed in rake recently. It means you'll have a lot of VIP points which can be used to enter certain tournaments. I believe you can exchange them for a small amount of cash if you play on TigerGaming.


Another change that I think is a bit too extreme. I do believe table limits help the ecosystem, but I prefer something like 6 for 6max, 9 for 9max and no more than 9 if you mix. I tend to play 3-4 at once most often so this doesn't affect me too much, but there are times I do like to play more.


There's more than a few obvious ones. I'm currently aware of about 25. About a month ago 25 other bots disappeared. I've sent them lists with the names of most of the still active bots. They know who they are. Why they can't get rid of them all at once I just don't know. At least there's not 50 going at once any more between 25-100nl. 25 active bots with the recent decreased traffic is still pretty ridiculous.

If they're not house bots, which we have no evidence of, then it's almost a certainty that some of these bot users are using multiple accounts. Like you said when one leaves another almost immediately replaces them. Someone has bots running nearly 24/7.

Like I said above A) is slightly incorrect, at least for nlhe cash games. I agree with B) and the rest of what you said.

It does mean something. It means you payed some of the most rake out of all of the players. You are correct in that the status doesn't result in any additional benefits.

it has always been around, but visible through lobby only on Tiger (could sit via players search on other skins), since last week i can see it on betonline/sportsbetting too

Site rep, can you please fix the $11r $7,500 at 8:30 eastern back to one hour of late reg? The 2 hours doesn't make sense with your rebuy structure. That tournament NEVER has issues of covering the guarantee.

By the time late reg is over, a double rebuy is worth 5 bigs and an add on is worth 8 bigs. That's stupid.

I imagine there are one or two other rebuys like this. But the $5.5 $1.5k rebuy at 8 eastern and the $6.6 $3k rebuy at 8:15 eastern both only have an hour of late reg. Why not make them uniform considering most rebuys are similar in starting stacks, add ons, and blind structures?

The rest of the new schedule looks great.

Or make the starting stack 5k so that you can have a realistic rebuy up until late reg is over. Nobody wants to rebuy x10 and then quit the tournament before the addon has even taken place.

Same for the 10k, 5k nightly and any others on the weekend we haven't already seen.

Also, it would be nice to see some satties running for the 30 and 25k they have listed on the weekend schedule.

I noticed you having issues. I didn't have any crashing or disconnecting during that same time using the BOL client. It must have been specific to certain regions.


What was your nickname? What games and stakes did you play?

Forgot to mention that I didn't see any bots yesterday. It's so odd how they all disappear for a day every now and then. I understand why that is when they change the software and HUDs don't work. When HUDs still work and they're all still absent then I'm not sure what the reason is.
