I'm having the same problem with the BOL poker client that others have posted, with the update download stalling, then crashing with about 50mb to go. This is on my Windows 10 laptop, which is the one I usually play on.
After checking the forum, I uninstalled the program, but have had no luck with re-installation on this computer. If I re-install using my old setup file, it does the same thing as before....the update tries to download but never completes. I got the latest poker client version from the BOL website, but it won't even start the install and the install log doesn't give any clues as to the problem. I even tried installing as an administrator, but nothing seems to help. I've re-tried several times, but no joy
.
I made sure I turned off Norton Security, after finding out that they think it is a suspicious program and delete it from your computer. Someone else posted that Norton should be disabled, but I forgot til I got the nasty message that they had deleted the program. Everyone should write to Norton and and ask them to remove it from their suspicious program list.
Fortunately, I had better luck with my Windows 7 computer. I saved my old client download just in case, then turned off Norton, and got the newest version from the website. It installed just fine and completed the update download. I can log in and the lobby opens with no problem, so at least I can still play. I'd really like to get it working on my laptop too though, since it's much more comfortable to play on than my Win 7 desktop.
Anybody using Windows 10 have any other suggestions I might try? If not, I guess I'll see if customer service can offer any help.
