For me after uninstall I had to disable firewall and auto protect from Norton to get it to install correctly and run the client.
Try disabling before you run the installer, hope it helps

I haven't been able to log on today to find out for sure, but they really got rid of Full Ring?? Im simply amazed they got rid of 9max. There is nothing more fish love than 9max. If anything, I would think the site would eliminate SH games so that the fish WOULDN'T lose as much at poker and focus on the more lucrative sportsbetting and casino options. Very strange. I expect them to put 9max back soon when they see their fishy clientele complaining and leaving the site. Bots are best at HU and short handed games as well.

When I try to log on the client, nothing even happens. Doesnt even indicate it is down like before, just acts like its going to load and nothing. Restarted and everything.

They have 10/20?? Ive only seen 5/10 max on NLHE. Never play PLO or look at it. Do I have my filters messed up all this time?

They eliminated full ring PLO, but it's still there for NLHE.

I don't see 10/20 either, I think he was mistaken about that.

The bots were back in full force in PLO today after being almost entirely absent the last 2 days.

10/20 and 15/30 are only available with Fixed Limit.

I just realized they got rid of the 200bb games. I'll miss those even more than 4max. They should have got rid of the 50bb games instead.

I'm having the same problem with the BOL poker client that others have posted, with the update download stalling, then crashing with about 50mb to go. This is on my Windows 10 laptop, which is the one I usually play on.

After checking the forum, I uninstalled the program, but have had no luck with re-installation on this computer. If I re-install using my old setup file, it does the same thing as before....the update tries to download but never completes. I got the latest poker client version from the BOL website, but it won't even start the install and the install log doesn't give any clues as to the problem. I even tried installing as an administrator, but nothing seems to help. I've re-tried several times, but no joy .

I made sure I turned off Norton Security, after finding out that they think it is a suspicious program and delete it from your computer. Someone else posted that Norton should be disabled, but I forgot til I got the nasty message that they had deleted the program. Everyone should write to Norton and and ask them to remove it from their suspicious program list.

Fortunately, I had better luck with my Windows 7 computer. I saved my old client download just in case, then turned off Norton, and got the newest version from the website. It installed just fine and completed the update download. I can log in and the lobby opens with no problem, so at least I can still play. I'd really like to get it working on my laptop too though, since it's much more comfortable to play on than my Win 7 desktop.

Anybody using Windows 10 have any other suggestions I might try? If not, I guess I'll see if customer service can offer any help.

Do u think shorter time banks increase or decrease bot profitability? On one hand if they calculate real-time, it could hurt them but on the other, if they can access solutions immediately then its a huge advantage for them. Anyone have any insight on this?

Did they? It looks like they have some running. I don't play tournaments too much so you may be talking about different ones that I'm not seeing.

I can't say for sure yet. I will keep track. I have my doubts that it will. I have a feeling the majority have preloaded strategies with staggered timings and don't rely to heavily on real-time calculations.

There is still a bunch of bots around, but not nearly as much as the most they've ever had. Traffic overall is still down so we'll see if more show up as traffic increases.

I have a small sample on him, but I'm guessing it's a very solid player who's just sun-running. Once you get ITM, the chipleader has like 20BB's. There's not much skill involved at the end and this player is just running in the 99.9 percentile.

I agree he runs very good on BOL but I think he is actually very good. He uses the other screen name ACABLA and AL_PACA on the other sites. He's a long time winner and has won a few pretty large tournaments on the other sites. You can check out more info on him on pocketfives.
