I wouldn't advise any serious US player to avoid BetOnline even with the recent issues. We simply cannot afford to lose the traffic/games and the fact is that when it's up and running - this is a solid site. I was just defending Ignition because although they've been as bad as could be at times, their connection stability and customer service has definitely been looking up over the last 3-4 weeks.

I hear you. Thanks for letting me know it's running better over there. I keep a sports betting roll on Bovada and might check it out myself if BetOnline ain't back up with some decent traffic by tonight.

Still 12002 - timeout errors for me when running the poker client. Tried logging into the main page to reinstall and got a little way in but no further, and could not download.

I still can't access poker from the desktop client. I was able to access the main website and I am able to access poker from the web client. Traffic is down as you'd expect, but I expected it to be dead. There's at least 20 full tables between 25-100nl. Lobby says there's 736 players on.

Edit: Desktop client now working as well.

Traveling so I can’t check desktop but mobile seems like it’s been down for days.

Website loads but only from a server backup, which means the site is not live.

It was working this morning. I just got back and tried to launch the desktop. I can get in the lobby, but it disconnects there every time.

I see they only made a small mention of "some are experiencing intermittent issues and IT is working on it" on Twitter. Contact @DaveMasonBOL if you're having issues.

So glad I'm moving abroad soon and will have more options for poker sites. I like the site but the software sucks, it randomly freezes once you're running 8+ tables b/c it's so resource intensive. Traffic also seemed to dip from the last DDOS attack and hasn't recovered, and now this will likely turn even more people off to the site.

That's not been my experience, but I guess things like this can vary based on isp, internet speed, and system specs. I have Comcast 100mb/s and a computer that's way passed it's expiration(probably 6+ years old) and I never have issues multitabling. I don't run anything else besides a HUD though.

Not only will this keep traffic down for a while, but losing a country like Australia also contributes to the dip.

I have no idea what the issue is, but I was 8-10 tabling on a 2 year old laptop, and even when I closed everything out including HUD, it would still completely freeze up quite often. Upgrades to a new laptop last week, not super state-of-the-art but still a decent laptop, and it still happened a few times last session. I guess maybe an ISP issue, who knows.

I'm moving to Mexico City. Visited for 4 weeks in Feb/Mar and fell in love with it so decided to make a permanent move.
