Try updating Flash and Java and then restart. Also try right clicking the software icon and "run as admin".

Definitely possible as I've seen a huge decline recently in the amount of suspected bot accounts at the stakes I play, but there was no mention of software in the email.

Most likely because its not solid proof such as scanning a computer and finding software. They do have pattern detection software as they said in their TOS/Rules.

I was not running any bot or prohibited software nor did i act unfair or sth at any single point. I actually was one of the few non bum hunting players in those games. I played regs HU, started tables and played just pretty much anything that was running.

Does anyone else have issues where BOL tables will freeze up when trying to raise? It doesn't happen every time I raise, but infrequently. This has been happening lately for me in MTTs. I do use Table Tamer so not sure if that is part of the problem. Anyone else run into this issue?

Could you provide us with your username on the network? Maybe others that post here could vouch for you. It's not that I don't believe you, but it would be good for us all to know and confirm that they are in fact banning legit winners.

Just started playing on BetOnline today, any suggestions on what people are running for huds on this site or if they are even allowed. Screen name on there is the same if anyone wants to start games 2/4+.

You've got a few different options. DriveHUD, HoldemIndicator, and HoldemManager or PokerTracker which both need the BetOnline Card Catcher to work. There may be more options in the Commercial Software section of this forum.

So youre a cash game player only and do you ever sit out in games and block people from sitting? or possibly colluding...

I am a PLO cash game player only. Absolutely never done any collusion. I don't sit out much usually when i am grinding and i didn't intetionally sit out on full tables to block certain players or anything (just normal use of sitout when you are doing a 5min break or sth)

I've played the PLO games for quite a few years on the BOL sites. I've played against this player years ago (not anytime recently) under this name and some of the prior ones he/she had. If you look at my previous postings in this thread, you can see I'm pretty outspoken about bots/cheaters. About this particular player:

1) I've never met this player in my life nor have I've talked to them outside of BOL.
2) I don't believe he/she has ever cheated/bumhunted on this site.
3) I believe he/she has won the most money on this site in the PLO games.
4) I believe this is purely a case of him/her taking too much money off the site.

I am a mid-stakes (I guess HS on BOL, lol) reg and can vouch for the fact that sorrymybad is one of the few people who will play me and seemingly everyone on the site. We have started tables many times.

If any players at this level are considered bumhunters, these few come to mind as the largest offenders that play daily:

Exploitative
Polytropos (short stack hit and run/bumhunter)
Blackchick

I think we can pretty much rule out bumhunting and assume that winning too much is more likely to get you banned at this point. If they were banning bumhunters they'd lose at least half of their daily rake.

Tough to say man.. I've never even heard of them banning anyone on this site. lol. It's been pretty small laid back Poker site until recent years. I was kicking ass with their older software which I loved cause it was super fast. This new one seems to lag but has way more options.

I haven't either before this, that's why i put this on 2+2 to see if i am the only one. Well, i know the good old software with the PLO being all full ring (1/2 and 1.5/3) and the most ridic bugs like the community cards player A used in PLO at the river flashing after Player B folds or any all in raise reopening the action (even if it is only 1 cent more). Chico has come a long way and is bigger now than it was back then. There is no doubt for me my poker acc was closed for taking too much money off the site. It started off with me getting my payouts denied and getting e-Mails where i had to describe my relationship with random players i played against (you could really tell they picked em without a system) to delay my payouts.
Anyways i know it is game over for me but you have any more questions i'll try to answer them as good as i can

it's the same story as what happened at merge.. they came after the top plo guys first (because they definitely make more money/hand and probably more money/hr than their nl counterparts)

except at merge, the table restrictions came first, which let you know the writing was on the wall

i played nlh at chicko for several years as KOPOBAH, recently i was banned with the same message. Also several my regular opponents whom i had in Skype got banned. The interesting point is some of them didn't play poker for a month or more. Im pretty sure it's all about new politics against winning players.
Most of players faced problems with cashouts several months ago and now they decided just to ban the cashouters.
if the reason was some software or bumhunting, they could have mentioned it in the letter.

Possibility.. Probably nothing malicious or you'll be Blacklisted. That's a shared list with all sites.
