Certain tournaments allow you to buy in with poker points. That appears to be all they're good for. Click on a tournament and look at the details to see if that particular one takes points.

This disconnect protection is seriously one of the stupidest things I've ever seen implemented by a poker site.

I'm guessing you don't play at ignition/bodog, but yes it's fkn ridiculous.

I play both actually. Yeah getting insta booted from the table when you disc is dumb, but this is so much worse. At least ignitions isn't comically abusable.

I actually wasn't even comparing the disconnects of the sites. I was making a joke with your statement of stupidest things you've seen a site do. Bodog brand has has done several I'd consider stupider and even recently with no ability to see cash games.

So if you disconnect, all uncalled bets are returned, the rest of the cards are dealt and hands are shown down.

Let's say you're facing a river shove that you know you can't profitably call. You can just yank the plug and see a showdown. You lose if he was value betting, but you were going to fold anyway. If he was bluffing however, now you get to WIN the pre river pot. It's an absurd free roll.

Gotcha, yeah that's pretty bad I guess. Have you noticed any particular players that seem like they might try to abuse it?

Personally I've enjoyed the ample DC time given because I've been having intermittent 10-15 second inet outages lately.

Does anyone else get lag on this site when playing 5 to 6+ tables? It's fine for me with 3 to 4, but when I sit the max it starts to have issues. Not the worst lag I've experienced, and still playable, but pretty annoying.

I'm running BOL skin, PT4, Betonline card catcher by Ace Poker Solutions. The problem seems largely internal to BOL in that it occurs even if I have Skype/other poker sites/whatever else closed at the time that it happens.

while the revamped software is nice, it's still very clunky and a resource hog from what i can tell. it is by far the site that causes the most problems for me across all US sites

Can anyone tell me how to use the vip points? I don't see any link on the site that explains them. Thanks

Thanx, so the only way to figure out if you can use them is to click on each tournament? I've clicked on a few, and haven't seen that option.

I wanted to replay some hands from a tournament I played on the mobile app. I can find the tournaments and games I've played on mobile under the "history" tab, but under "history replayer" tab, I can only see the games I played on the computer.

Is there a solution to this or is that just the way the software operates?

Not at my computer right now, but I think about half the tournaments take points. Just scroll down each tournament in the lobby. In the description window to the right it will say how many points it takes to buy in, if you can use points for that particular one.

Pretty sure I had a fish exploit this last night. He raised my cbet on Jxx w/JT and I 3bet the flop, at which point he dc's, and after cards roll out he insta sits back in.

Not positive tho, bc he had been dc'ing a few times prior in that session, so maybe just weird coincidence.

What has support had to say when you've talked to them about this?

That **** has been going on since their old ****ty software. People do abuse it, I've seen regs abuse it, if you think they're ****ing with you report it.

Havent talked to them. Doubt they'd do much about it. The saving grace is that it becomes less of an option the more tables you're playing. The times its happened to me its been mostly bad regs/reg fish who are probably only on a couple tables a time.
