How's Chico's support? I have sent them an email few days ago (3) about my account that has been locked, perhaps due to inactivity? I wanted to play again on this site. Anyone here has any experience with their email support team?

Do any of the sites on this network have horse, limit hold em, 7 card stud or 8 game mix tournaments?

I looked some but didnt see discussion about this.

Is there still no preferred seating? I found an old post saying you had to right click everytime you sit a new table.

Not much worse or better than the other options for US players. I know that's not saying much, but it just depends on the situation. Have you tried using Live Chat? That can be quicker at times.

I don't believe so, but if there was one I'd think it would be LHE. They used to have more cash game varieties like Stud, Razz, 32 Card Draw, and Americana. They didn't get a lot of traffic, but there was people playing them at times. Cash games are now just NLHE, LHE, PLO, and PLO Hi-Lo. Most tournaments are NLHE, but I do see some PLO and PLO Hi-Lo tournaments in the lobby. I don't see any LHE.

If you are in the United States your best bet for the less popular game types is SWC(Formerly Seals With Clubs).

There is no preferred seating that I'm aware of which is quite an odd omission for this software. Right clicking your desired seat at every table does appear to be necessary.

Thanks for the replies.

As much as i loved the poker boom, it killed my 7 stud and limit hold em tournaments lol

I think Bovada/Ignition offers a LHE tournament every now and then. I believe they got rid of all Stud games when they introduced Quick Seat for Cash Games.

The WPN sites do offer some Stud tournaments. They also have the widest variety of different structures and formats you will find as an American player outside of SWC, but they also have significantly more traffic than SWC.

It seriously is hitting ridiculously often. How does it get up to 1.2M and now it hits every other week?

I guess variance but its definitely odd.

Only need to lose with Quad 8s to hit now, before would be Quad Jacks.

Currently there's only $77,000 in the pot. Seems wrong to still have it labeled as a $100,000 Bad Beat Jackpot unless they plan to add the difference should it get hit.

I don't know him off the tables, but I've played with him a good amount at 100-500NL. I've seen him in the games most nights recently.

Does anyone play low stakes SNG's on Chico? I'm wondering if they aren't a better option than cash due to less bots?

I dont get why anyone would play online ?
ALL I hear about is slow pay and no pay stories, frozen accounts etc etc.
Not to mention how soft live games are.
Its becoming easier and easier to find live games relative to 10 years ago.
I just dont get it.

Every major site pays out these days. The stories you hear about are the exception and not the norm. There is usually important details left out of what you read.

If you use crypto currency for withdrawals you can get your funds in as little as 2-3 days on average, sometimes even sooner.

Not everybody lives near a card room. Not everybody enjoys the atmosphere at live card rooms. Online is just much more convenient.

Most live games are softer, but you also get significantly less hands per hour.

To each their own.

How does it work dealing with crypto? I'm assuming you need a coinbase account. Then you give the poker site a code for them to depo into your account? Then you can cash out the crypto from your coinbase account to your bank? And this assumes the price of crypto does not move significantly enough within those few days so that you lose money? I guess it could go up as well so it should be basically a wash? Let me know if this is basically right

Not many places you can find that will run a tournament every single day for 365 days a year.

You'll need a buffer account (paper wallet or another app) if you're going to use Coinbase, they'll close your account for gambling payments. I just setup a blockchain.com/blockchain.info account since they allow you to hook your bank account up to buy and sell crypto, but does not allow you to buy crypto with cc like Coinbase.

Buy crypto on an exchange or however you prefer. Then you send that crypto to an intermediary wallet like Blockchain.info. Then send crypto from your intermediary wallet to the poker site. You go in the reverse order for withdrawals.

The only time you are exposed to the price swings of crypto is when it is in your wallets. You are not exposed at the moment you request the withdrawal. Only after the site has processed the withdrawal to your wallet are you exposed. That is why you should be on the look out for any transaction notifications when you're waiting for your withdrawal.

One thing you can do is to limit your crypto transactions in periods of high volatility. When the price has been fairly stable for a while you are less likely to be affected too negatively. Nothing is guaranteed though. There's no way to time the price movements with super high accuracy.

If you've chosen good methods and have them set up prior to transacting then you shouldn't be exposed for too long. Start by transacting with smaller amounts to get the process down.

It's pretty easy to do after you've done it once. Take a day to read up a little bit and you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

I've only had maybe two payment issues over the last three years and I've withdrawn/deposited on multiple sites.

On Chico specifically, all my BTC withdrawals have been processed within 48 hours.

There are still plenty of soft games online.

Idk about you, but live poker can get pretty ****ing miserable trying to grind.

Crypto has been an absolute godsend and I give BetOnline high marks b/c it's almost always extremely fast.

Hard to believe that only a few years back we had to deal with paper checks that would take forever to arrive, and then sometimes not even be accepted by banks. On Full Flush it was starting to take 4,5,6 months (and of course Kahn telling us everything was alright) before it eventually folded.

It's almost like other people might live in different places, and have different interests, schedules, preferences and priorities than you.

Oh, and a more complete understanding of online poker than you do.

Just a warning to people looking to deposit on BOL. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT accept any "bonus" with your deposit. They are 100% scams. This happened to me.

I decide to deposit $20 on BOL. I saw this crypto100 "bonus" that offered a 100% match of your deposit to bet on sports. I took it, made my sports bet and lost. No big deal.

I then play some MTTs and run it up to about $300 in a few days. When I try to withdraw, they tell me I must bet $561 in sports before I can cash out any money. I wasnt even surprised, I should have seen it coming. Nothing comes for free. I guess I should have read more into the "bonus" details.

Just wanted to let others know the bonuses are really just scams to prevent people from cashing out.
