What sort of sample is needed for definitive evidence of accounts being linked?

I'm not really 100% certain. Perhaps someone in the Probability forum could tell you. You could also contact the guys that found the Stars PLO bots a few years back.

I'm usually certain about the NLHE bots after a few thousand hands, but I've tracked a lot of them. I don't tell Support or most other people about them until about 5,000-10,000 hands each. It depends how close the statistics are to other known bots at that point. Some of them have unique characteristics that the others don't. I assume those account owners are the ones trying their best to go undetected. After 10,000 hands I'm 99% positive about whether I think it's a bot account or not.

I've wondered about him too... Also another account crushing never talks... I just don't have many hands past PLO10 at the moment.

Also want to add that in no way am I a conspiracy theorist it's rigged/bot tard... I am not suspecting foul play just because someone doesn't talk at the tables... clearly this is an ongoing issue and I am just pointing out my suspicions... I'm not alone here.

I've played for IronAndry sometimes at 25PLO and like he's definitely on there almost all the time and is almost certainly a winning player.... He actually folds to 3bets a lot though. I totally wouldn't be surprised if he is a bot just because he's on there all the time but aside from that idk.

I suspect rybkaAA of being a NLHE bot... not that I mind playing with him, I actually really appreciate his style.

I'm yudodis for reference.

I've seen v**dj***r, who I'm pretty certain is not a bot, playing him heads up with 5.56% rake, so he can probably answer this question for you.

It was down and now back up for me. In the future the mods would like you to post about sites being down in the thread below.

I have played a lot on Chico this year and it has never been "Down" for me. Played all day today and was playing when You made a post about it being down. Maybe it is always on Your end.

Never? That seems pretty lucky. I must say it is more stable for me than any of the other online options us players in the US have. I rarely have connection issues.

The issue today lasted only a few minutes. I know it wasn't only me because there were 3 posts in here, made prior to mine, that have since been moved to that thread. There's also the fact that almost everyone, at almost every table, was sitting out when I reconnected.

I'll gladly deal with these rare and minor connection issues when compared to the annoying bugs that plague Bovada/Ignition, Global Poker and the WPN sites.

Holy cow, I'm not sure what they did to the BOOST tables, but the timer is a lot shorter. It is now really hard to keep up with 4 tables. I accidently folded A9s on the button because of it. You only get 8 seconds to act it seems. I mean, yeah I like fast fold poker, but 8 seconds is way too short. It was fine the way it was. I'm not really sure how this change appeals to anyone. Recreationals are going to want more time to do stuff than regs will. Regs are not able to multi-table as easily and probably will just go back to regular tables. I really enjoyed the BOOST structure, but the time cut has just ruined the entire experience for me.

rybkaAA is solid. That guy takes my money haha.

Oh yeah, if anyone wonders why some players disable the chat, it probably is because they don't want to hear people bitching about losing all the time. I've actually considered doing this myself, but I like to see what people are talking about sometimes.

I, too, am certainly happy that our site hasn't gone down for a quite awhile now. Lets hope that continues.

ChiTown,

I want to give you an update on the tournament schedule, as we talked about it before and I think this will give other (potential) players an overview of how things are going.

In short, the tournament schedule is going well. Overall, there are more tournaments to play, especially in the $20-$100 range throughout the day. Still, I would like some more guaranteed tournaments in the 2-5k range for around $5-$10. I know most people prefer a $5 R+A GTD for 2k over a $20 BI re-entry. It's just seemingly less expensive and the guaranteed has more of a chance of far exceeding when people can rebuy at anytime. Also, as previously stated, a $15-$20 R+A with a guaranteed of 8-10k would almost certainly crush as a daily tournament.

Most people I've talked to prefer the aspects/structures of both the old and new schedule, so I'm sure adding in some more across the board would certainly not hurt; in fact, it should generate more revenue for the site.

Also, the 20k and 25k this past weekend crushed the GTD, where as in previous weeks failed to meet. The 75k overlayed a tiny bit for the 3rd weekend in a row, but didn't cost the site any money. (72k prize pool, 7k or so in rake)

I believe if Chico continues to add more mtts (of all stakes, daily and on the weekends) the traffic will most certainly pick up even more. I've already noticed a slew of new people, most of whom seem like regs coming from other site that see good tournaments running.

That's good to hear mamelas. I primarily play cash games, but I'll jump in some MTTs on occasion and they've always seemed pretty good to me. I think excellent tournament structures/schedules are a great way to bring in more traffic for all games.

Time bank has always been fast. Personally, id like 5 seconds more during mtts. It creates a very rapid pace when youre playing multiple sites and BOL is constantly at risk of timing out.

Yes I timed out a bunch in cash yesterday. I play on other sites too. If chico doesn't fix this they will lose rake bc I cant keep up with it anymore.

Didn't hop on today, but when I played yesterday the time to act did seem sped up. I recall a particular spot where I opened, someone called and someone squeezed from the blinds. When it got back to me my hand timed out and folded me after only 3 seconds. At the time I thought I must be lagging. Either way, the time to act was already pretty damn short. There was no reason to make it shorter.

Looks like the time bank is back to normal again. It is amazing how those extra 4ish seconds matter.

Mine is still sped up. My time to act starts at about 75-80% of the meter.

I hate this about SBAG. Doesn't happen all the time but when it does it most certainly costs me money

so just timed it...

7 seconds for BOL
30 seconds for Ignition
20 seconds for ACR.

I can not surmise what the rationale was to shorten the time.

Shorter time bank = more hands = more rake. As seen with the bot situation, BOL/Chico doesn't care about you and is mostly concerned with producing as much rake as possible.

I honestly have to assume it was a mistake in a recent update. Not many people will do much multitabling like this. That means less rake.

Yeah, I'm thinking it was a mistake too. It sped up again. Last night I had 12ish seconds to act. Now it is only 8 again. I just accidently folded QQ preflop and would have hit top set. I got up and left. I'm not going to grind with the speed it is currently at.

The hands per hour hasn't increased by that much either. It is pretty much the same only players accidently fold more often.

I think 15 seconds might be the perfect amount of time. Keeps people playing relatively quickly without giving them too much time to tank every hand.
