Sure. They bumped up all of the buyins for, what were, the daily mtts (3k,7.5k,10k). Before the 3k was a $6 R+A (rebuy + addon) and now it is a $33 re-entry w/ no addon). The 7.5k was a $11 R+A and now a $109 R+A. The 5k was a $11 and now a $55 re-entry. It's like this all across the board and you can see how it is seemingly less value. Each of these* tournaments before today's change would make the GTD 95% of the time and consistently crush the GTD.
I'm not 100% sure how this will play out, but it seems to me intuitively that these tournaments will get less volume, which could be good, as far as smaller fields, but worse that the GTDs won't be met and the site will have to restructure their schedule again (if they do it will be the 4th time this year).
I understand they likely did this because they've failed to meet GTDs on the weekends on the bigger mtts (the 40k overlays almost 100% and the 100k last month had about 40k overlay) but they are going about it in the wrong way. They should keep the 3-10ks the same buyin (and preferably change the daily 10k from $44 r+a to a $22 r+a, while adding 30 mins more of late reg and/or giving more starting chips) and lower the 40k on the weekend to a 30k and the 15s to 12.5k. Charging people more for the same tournaments aren't the answer to makeup for money. Change the structures/starting stacks to accommodate, so more people will join and/or rebuy.

Reason: Understanding and solution.
