I should have specified that Adam_Smith was a NLHE bot. I see there's an AdamSmith playing PLO and I have no idea about him as I don't play PLO.

politexnik is one of the PLO bots that have been around for a while. He does play a lot including a bunch of HU with whoever sits him. Big favorite to win the rake races. Also, yes, it would be much easier to win the races playing PLO.

Guys please avoid spelling their names correctly. I have noticed no more Pr@is3TSu at SSPLO. Hopefully that bot account is gone.

Thanks for the info madmansam!

What's the reason for incorrectly spelling their names erroneous?

Yes Polite is one of the obvious bots that's been around for awhile. He actually won 1 leaderboard and got 2nd in another in the most recent contests, so BOL is gifting that bot owner a nice chunk of change every day.

The bots will pretty much play anyone HU, even another bot, so they've got a huge advantage with the way the rake race is structured now b/c playing HU will yield about as many raked hands as 4-5 tables playing 6-max.

So the recent changes have been very, very good for the bot owners. Except for the increase from 4 to 8 table limit favors regs since the bots tend to limit themselves to 3-4 tables.

1 new bot account showed up about the exact same time PR@ise stopped playing, so it's likely the owner just set up a brand new account. There's 1 other new player that I suspect is a bot, but I need to play with him a bit longer to confirm.

To prevent a quick google/2p2 search.

Can someone tell me a good bot to use? Seems profitable.

Let’s just load up bots on Chico because they obviously don’t give a ****

While there are definitely still a few bots around, 8 that I know of from 25nl-100nl, they certainly have done something about what was previously a massive bot issue. I knew of 50 active bots playing at those stakes at one point. I've tracked over 100 bots on the network in the past 2 years. The fact that there's still any is unacceptable since I've previously informed BetOnline of who they are, but it's noticeably much better recently than it has been over any extended period of the last 2 years with regards to bots in those games. I can't speak to PLO, MTT, SnG, or any other format as I don't play them enough to know the extent of the botting issue in those games.

Maybe repetitive vocalization about this issue by the community is finally getting through to these networks.

One other subtle change I noticed. They used to show the rake being taken out of each pot on the top right, now they no longer do that (unless I'm missing it).

By the way, playing HU to start tables is prohibitively expensive. In .50/1.00 PLO, a standard raise to $3 and a call leads to $0.33 being taken out of the $6 on the flop.

A lot of regulars, mods and bot users who visit these forums probably get annoyed by constantly seeing the subject, but I believe that to be the truth. If you want something done that you have little power to change then keep talking about the issue. Nothing will ever change if you stay silent and do nothing. At least if you get enough people regularly complaining about an issue the sites eventually do take notice.

Yeah, that's a wtf move for sure. I can't even find a rake chart on the BetOnline website. I hope Khan's rake chart is up to date because we really have no other place to view it.

Again, took out $500 and got it in UNDER 24 hours.

Bitcoin.

Betonline is the fastest at processing withdrawals that I've ever seen. Pretty impressive.

4 of the top 6 (including 1st and 2nd) in the .50/1 cash rake race are PLO bots.

Just when I think the bot issue has gotten better in NLHE we now have to deal with PLO bots taking our prizes. If it's that much easier to win the contest playing PLO then they should either have separate contests or change how points are awarded to make it more equal. This is coming from someone who doesn't really care about the rake contests as I've probably only cashed in a few.

Or just have a rule that if you're a bot you can't participate in the contests.

Or possibly separate contests for bots and humans.

If they could do that, they'd simply remove the bots.

Hahahaha nice.

It's honestly ridiculous at this point. Every SSPLO 6-max table has at least 3 bots.

I've been tracking them for about 2 years on this network. I'm very familiar with their statistics, odd seating habits and other tendencies. I won't go into great detail publicly. I don't mind sharing more detailed information via private message.

I'm not sure if I've seen that name, but it's definitely not a bot I'm aware of. What stakes/game type do they play?
