The bot Pol- you refer to Politeexxxnitnot has come in since the other plo100, plo200 bots eyedr@w, paynejooce, peempp seemed to be banned. I heard they haven't been there for 7-10days and that was last week.

I haven't been playing much, either, but I know I haven't seen them (I think before that they played 5-7 days a week, at regularly scheduled hours - no human does this so precisely, BTW)...

I can give an example of how just how bottish this player is, but some people reading this are creating bots, and I don't want to leak info.

I knew that account would be back, and I believe it is the aformentioned one. Plays exactly the same style, sits on 2 PLO100 tables and 1 PLO200, and doesn't chat. I'm sure they'll make chatting bots one day, but it's not going to be soon. I am not going to say anything to support about this account because I have in the past several times about the others, and got the same BS reply. I used to suspect they were house bots, but now that BOL seems to have done something about this problem, I actually think the reason they were being dismissive about the allegations of botting was that they were embarrassed and afraid their reputation was going to be smeared. However, IF you have bots on your site doesn't smear your reputation - it's what you DO about them that does... I also don't want them to do something crazy like they get tired of me complaining, or whatever and muffle me. That's why I'm posting with a name I just made up.

Personally, I like playing against these bots, but they crush the fish. The regs are also scared of them. So I think overall it's bad for the game. They gotta go.

Those are the players unwilling to play without 3rd party software updates. It's the same all over the site right now at different games. Traffic will be down for a little while, but they will all magically reappear shortly.

lol.. gotta wait for the bot update.. see how the site can if they wanted? they could easily do this every week and sooner or later bots and huds will give up.

If it's as easy as you say it is then why isn't it a common practice at poker sites?

There is no support in this thread. If I could help you get in, believe me, I'd likely be one of the first replies. Because I am able to get in without issue I'm not sure what to recommend to you.

As for the bot circle jerk it's encouraged in here. Anything that can be brought to light about potential cheating in the games should be. Bot discussion is not frowned upon in here like it is in the acr threads.

Update: I had no issues while logged in. I logged out and I am currently unable to get back in.

Yeah it's weird it takes me like 10 tries everytime. Why does it work at all if it takes 10 tries?

I've had the same issue with BO login. All I do is try to log on with another skin and logout then log back on with BO.

Got in on the 1st try a little bit ago. Hopefully that won't be a recurring issue going forward.

This did just start happening this week correct? I've never had this issue until their most recent update on monday. Now it's random if I connect or not when logging in.

Also having issues again logging in.

As for the bots, noticed some of the PLO ones have been missing the past few weeks. Mainly Br3w3d or whatever his name was. Had about six accounts I suspected were bots based on their incredibly similar numbers and volume. Part of the game at this point, though it's nice to see them do something about it.

Same for me since Monday. It was a very rare occurrence in the past. It's not happening every time, but it did happen 2 out of 5 times I've tried to open the client since the last update.

Yes I've only had issues with it very recently -- I can't say though since which day exactly. But like in the last week. So prob Monday.

What was your pokername? A lot of accounts got shut down so far only the bots seem to be shutdown, when did you receive this email?

I just bought a vpn service (PIA) in case anyone cares.

SO my IP address can show I'm loggin in from various locations (which is suspicious to BOL security team). SO I emailed them but they were not very helpful and rather secretive in their response (saying to me, "just be honest if you get an email regarding your IP address"). I asked them whether my account would be locked if I get that email, and Gunter said yes. And He didn't tell me that before I asked.

These days, I think it's crucial to have a good VPN - it doesn't mean you're doing criminal activities, it means you care about security/privacy. So I hope BOL figures out a way to deal with this.

If I am in the us, and 2 hours later I relog in again showing an IP address from New Zealand, that is what someone would look like if they were account sharing. So I know that's what they're worried about, but they are not going to be upfront about it.

My only solution is to not use VPN while I connect to their client unless someone has ideas of what you use? I can change the IP address to be one in the US, but not specific to my state.

WOW I cant believe you said that. What are you trying to hide from when playing poker? You're obviously into some type of multi or colluding.. Sounds to be like youre playing on BO and TG at the same time. I would surely ban your account and blacklist your name.

Network connection has been crap lately though, I used to get 100% but now only 49% connection rating. I think the traffic has grown drastically due to the great RNG. They may need to upgrade to handle so many people.
