Nope, they still allow NY players. You're thinking of MERGE network.

I'm sorry man. I wish I could tell you different. Some people suggest putting in different monetary amounts. I've tried 40 times already. I think its best we go to a diff site until bovada comes up with a better deposit method.

Bodog definitely just pulled out of MD...I know that for a fact. I'm pretty sure new signups also blocked from NY/WA

Ahh! That makes sense. When a poker company discontinues new accounts in certain states, do they also discontinue payouts to already registered users in that state? :/

Interesting...

@ Redhouseab - Do you remember what I told you in my PM a week ago?

I've never been able to get a NS V card to work that I purchased locally. That was because they are not available for international transactions. I had to wait until they sent me my permanent card, which has worked every time, on every site.

So, until you get your permanent card with your name on it, there's no sure way of knowing whether or not you will be able to deposit on Bovada using that method.

I sure do, Hotlanta. Thanks again for the help. No worries, I didnt take your advice with a grain of salt. I contacted CS and they stated that the temp card should go through, that it didn't matter. I was going by what they told me. I guess I shouldn't hold their word so highly LOL. Sorry if it sounded like I didn't listen to your advice!

Yeah, I didn't really think that. I just wanted to take a friendly jab at you.

As for their customer service, I've learned to take what they say with a grain of salt.

Anyway, just keep us updated. I would really like to know if your state is somehow restricted in that way.

@ Redhouseab - Very nice!! Thank you. I will treat her well (maybe).

@ Rivertranced - You have to go to NS's site and register your card. They will then mail you a permanent one.

Just one piece of important advice... if you need to take a bathroom break, make her clap her hands til you're finished. Just proper wallet safety measures.

www.netspend.com

If you want to pick one up locally, I suggest calling the establishments netspend recommends on their website before actually driving to them. I drove to like 15 different places that netspend said carried the card/reloads and none had them. Luckily I was able to find one at a 7 Eleven. If you have them in your area, call 7 Eleven first before checking anywhere else.

ok thanks. I just tried customer service again and mentioned the netspend card thing and they basically said yeah you can give it a shot but we have no idea if its going to go through. I don't know if its worth it to order this thing and then have to wait 7 days and get denied anyway

I think its worth it. Especially after Hotlanta's advice. If you order it now, you still might have a chance to deposit to receive a free tourney entry... if netspend is speedy with their mailing. GL man!
