know exactly what youre talking about. it happens to me from time to time, seemingly randomly. I just reload the client.

yeah after about 6 or 7 attempts the sidebar became briefly visible, but I still could not download any hand histories

oh well, I didn't really want those particular hands in my DB anyway

I assume I am suppose to convert "bovadahandhistory" file into the ignition hand converter? When I do that it doesn't import the hands.

I just tried it out with some hands from before the split last year and it works fine. There's a support thread for this in the commercial software forum here as well if you want to ask the developer.

are there any solutions to the table resizing crash thing? ive tried different os, reinstalling, different compatibility modes, not resizing when table is loading or an action is happening. nothing works 100%

I have heard that Mac users have no problems with the freezing/ crashing issues on bovada/ ignition. Can anyone confirm this?

I'm trying to use the tickets as well and I'm getting a message that says "you don't have sufficient funds to buy this".

The have to be in series events so there are only so many games. I used them mostly on satellites which were quite soft.

Their software screws up a lot. You just have to wait it out. They often have issues where the games go invisible and you are connected to their server supposedly but can't do anything.

yeah that happens to me too. Also, whenever i cant access the tournaments, I cant access Zone poker either, but cash games work fine. (im not sure about sit n go, dont really play those)

A few other things:

This only happened 2 or 3 times, but once in a while when i am 4 tabling, and X out of one of the tables, all 4 will close.

I constantly get the "we were not able to process your request" pop up (not a big deal but somewhat annoying)

I usually have to open and close Ignition 3 times before i can log in

Cant add on chips to top off my stack occasionally

Get disconnected atleast 2-3 times a day.. (i dont know how anyone plays 5/10 + on this site. I wouldnt want to risk getting disconnected and losing over a grand)

Software sucks, but the games are still WAY better then anywhere else IMO

Yes I can confirm this. Every once in a while while aggressively changing tables trying to bypass certain tables the program will shut down. But other than that it runs great. I actually went back to only playing on my Mac from now on. No table resizing issues either.

The fact that they are so unable/unwilling to fix their software is a pretty troubling sign IMO. From another industry.. I've had experience with restaurants and bars that were struggling and the sure sign they were going to go out of business was that they'd stop fixing anything or ordering new liquor bottles.. just saying. I wouldn't leave any excess $ on here above the minimum multiple of buyins you need for whatever stakes you are playing at. At least in 2017 this is super easy with Bitcoin wallets.. was a lot tougher to control your bankroll on a site when bank transactions were the only option.

I completely agree that their unwillingness to fix bugs is troubling. I'm no programmer, but how are we to trust a site to take measures against bots and colluders when they can't even get their tables to size correctly? The 5% rake on some sit n goes is about the only thing keeping me on at this point :/

Meh you could go back and find the same bull**** you just posted years ago in this thread. Blah blah blah it’s troubling, blah blah blah going out of business, blah blah blah, I wouldn’t keep any money on there, blah blah blah.

Nobody needs your nonsensical musings about how worried we should be about the solvency of the site based on actually not one single fact.

The fact is they have always been solvent and paid out with insane speed even before bitcoin. And continue to pay out insanely fast to this day.

Obviously there are risks with gambling online in the US. But the facts suggest the opposite from your concerns. That Bodog/Ignition/Bovada is doing just fine and nowhere near insolvent.

Ignition without warning will crash and all the tables/lobby will disappear in a blink of an eye. I then have to reload everything and am off the tables while not knowing what happened to the hands I was in. For some reason though this has only happened to me once/day but has been consistent for the past couple of weeks now. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yeah it has been happening to me a decent amount lately too. I use Table Tamer and wasn't sure if Table Tamer was causing it or if it is just the poker client. Do you use Table Tamer?

It's Table Tamer. It's the reason I quit using it months ago.

what happens with mine is a lot of the time, it will be fine, but once it starts freezing, it gets worse and worse to the point where opening a second table makes it freeze. reinstalling (i also delete every file related to bovada) and then turning my computer on and off restarts this whole cycle. since i switched to windows 8.1, i don't get the bug where everything disappears all at once (my bug is everything freezing), but i did have that problem on windows 10.

Were you using Table Tamer when you had the issue on Windows 10?
