For the past 6+ years, my personal policy is to never deposit onto any online poker site, until the ID verification process is complete. If you are on the up and up, this is long-term +EV!

Nothing personal, but from your's and heplay's join date I stereotype that both of you have not been around all that long. For the online vets your expose is at best Level .5-1 reasoning addressing topics which are at Level 2+. Don't have the time to spell all of this out, but beyond the obv reasons that Bobo, and 5thST mentioned, there are dynamics relevant to chip-dumping, money-laundering, and mechanism that sites have in place to combat such behavior and costs for implementing such systems from the sites' perspective. And these issues obv overlap with behavior that may appear benign (e.g. allowing others to use your account) to a level .5-1 thinker.

I do appreciate your willingness to adjust to the proper etiquette. To go beyond Level 1, a higher IQ is not necessarily the only way. Experience, humility, and willingness to be open-minded and objective can go a long way...

I definitely base my assumptions about someone's knowledge of poker and subjects associated with poker by their 2+2 join date.

No way people read this forum for years without participating. Let's not forget when 2+2 got hacked 2 years ago and lots of people lost their original accounts as well.

Instead of being butthurt like an insecure/oversensitive-little b****, why not work on those critical thinking skillz, and learn something in the process, yo? The term 'stereotype' was actually in your favor, DUCY...

Not butthurt in the slightest. Just found it ironic someone making assumptions based on forum join dates is calling anyone a level 1 thinker.

If you still don't get it, you're thinking at the level you're assuming recent join dates are. Ducy? (not to say your assumptions are completely off base, just mostly)

Son, I'll spell it out for you. The specific reason why I used the word 'stereotype' is b/c these are generally accurate on average. But anyone who has 1/2 a brain obv knows there are exceptions. If it makes you feel any better the input into my analysis was overshadowed by the actual context and presentation of your previous posts (i.e. it if looks like a noob, if it smells like a noob, well...). The join date was just an easily accessible proxy, and perhaps an arrogant/lazy announcement by me. The end result/conclusion is the same! Either you are a noob, dumb, or a combination of the 2...

At the end of the day, I really am a nice guy i.e. if need be I'll hook you up with a good deal on lube for that sore ass of yours...

Only have been playing bovada since last summer. Did Bovada have sattys last year for ME? If so how much were the typical buy in's.

click on the hud really fast for a couple seconds (like 10 clicks?) and crash HI and you'll be able to gain control of bo.

To be fair, IIRC, in the TOS it states only 1 account is allowed per household. I think it also says something about authorized users of said account which I interpret as multiple users of the same household have to share 1 account (with some sort of authorization from Bovada?). It is interesting though, because it seems opposite the norm and also makes it seem like it's against the TOS to have separate accounts within the same household. I haven't really read anything that has clarified this, nor has it affected me, so I have never contacted customer service for a clarification.

What are the chances my credit card gets flagged for a weird transaction if I deposit on bovada?

I haven't heard of regular US credit cards working; only international pre-paid Visas that you can buy and load at a gas station

Hey guys,
I requested a $6000 payout on Bovada via bankwire on 2/26, got it approved on 3/4 and I still haven't received it yet (3/28). Everytime I call they say that they'll get back to me with an update in 48 hours which was last week and still no update. I sent them my bank statement showing I haven't received the funds.
Has anyone done a bankwire and received the funds? How long did it take? Is this normal? I've done several smaller payouts with checks but I thought this method would be more secure and quicker... Apparently not.
Any suggestions on what I should do? I don't like the waiting game.

Bankwire is not quicker. For $6k your probably best to take it in two checks which the first of the month is free and then you pay $50 for the second but both of them will most likely have arrived before a wire would.

People deposit with regular CCs all the time. That's the only way I've ever deposited. Just depends on your bank and how they've set up your card.

Well, it took them over a year to fix it the first time, so I wouldn't hold your breath.

FWIW, I don't have this problem. I only play tournaments, though, so maybe it's restricted to cash games?

Yeah it only affects cash (non-zone) tables.
