Welcome to my brick and mortar days, same thing happens in live poker buddy.

On a side note, tried the next limit up in zone (went a little on tilt Thursday, lessons learned), lost twice, won once, but didn't leave the frigging table. Ugh, down 10 buy ins at my regular stake, however, first time bonus is helping out, have two shots at it so far. With more volume, should be able to clear (could not get more money on site, limitations with coinbase, but the funds on hold have gone up in bitcoin value ). Wonder I have not busto yet.

1 What Op system are you running?

2 Amount of memory?

3 Check Task Manager, how many processes running in the background before launching Ignition/Bovada?

4 Type of Hud?

5 Reinstalling software, also using clean registry if on older than win 10? Deleting all remnants of Ignition is intensive process. Otherwise, a CLEAN reinstall of windows (which wipes everything off computer, so need to backup everything off computer) accomplishes the same thing more easily.

7 do not run web browsers while running the software.

8 Otherwise, can only recommend new laptop with win 10 pro, 16 gb memory, and ssd drive - not that expensive, using at least a hyperthreaded i7 chip dual core masking as quad core.

Do you realize how absurd that statement is? I was running Bodog with porno blaring and no complications 15 years ago.

1. Windows 10

2. 8gb

3. Like none. I killed all browsers, Skype at Al

4. None
I'll try a clean install of everything soon. It's totally mental that 16g would be required to run a poker client. Wtf?

I have a gaming computer, albeit three years old. Most programs are requiring 16 gb for optimal performance.

I am just trying to eliminate all problems, on 8 gb computer, running browsers with the software will run up the memory and threads. One could just have one laptop for poker, might be easier. Without seeing the exact machines themselves, I can only extrapolate solutions.

Also, skype I kill (have actually turned to on demand, so not running in background), is resource hog.

Um, look at my post above. My laptop fans to do not spin, and there is no sound with a ssd drive (google), when I two table zone (the maximum). It is your machine. You need to upgrade, or not use wireless, or internet speed that is cheap, especially on the upload That is, if you want to make money.

Just my personal opinion. We used 8 gb laptops from Amazon for a job, these were the default laptops all employees got. Our job specifically required more intensive use of multiple tools and chrome running multiple sites, instances (they heaped more on our heads, working joes can relate). Strong suggestion to those that wanted results, upgrade our laptops, which they did. This knowledge, and our inducement to become SDE's, prompted my own purchase of a similar laptop (NVidia was an afterthought). SSD drive must, win 10 pro must, 16 gb ram must. Hard wired internet with the best upload speed (communication to server not causing time outs) a must. They upgrade, along with most tools at most corporations, then need to upgrade computer, just a thought.

this seems arbitrary. intertops runs just fine on 8gb, as did ignition for 2 years for that matter

Why were the posts about the disconnections getting removed last night?

Probably a cover up by 2p2 for the amazing ineptitude of Bonition to keep the site up and running. That or your post was moved to the "is it down" thread to keep clutter out of here.

Hi,

Just for anyone searching for the black startup screen or error 42 message when opening the client: what worked for me was uninstalling (not just disabling, that didn't help) both avast antivirus and comodo firewall (can reinstall them after). Now try running or reinstalling the bodog/ignition client and should work fine. Can reinstall protection now and configure to exclude bodog from comodo.

Can we keep 1-2 posts about disconnects and confirmations in this thread, instead of moving them all to "Is it Down,"?

It's difficult to keep track of the number of client crashes, especially when the posts in, "Is it Down," don't mention which sites are having issues.

Thanks

+1000

Those walls of posts are literally the most important part of this thread. It helps me know quickly if I'm having issues on my end or if I should just take a break and wait the issues out. There isn't that much info on this thread, nor does it take more than 20 seconds to skip through the "clutter". If I check the "is it down" thread I panic thinking every post is about ignition, but then can't actually find out if people are talking about ignition when they are.

The is it down thread was a bad idea in concept, poorly executed.

My laptop is 8 years old. Bought it in 2011. It still runs! It's a gaming laptop (Alienware M15) but it's specs are crap compared to today's laptops : 6GB Ram, Windows 7 etc...

But it runs Ignition and other poker clients with no problems at all. I never have crashes or anything weird happen while playing Ignition or other poker clients. I run games that are much more intensive than Ignition. I don't run any HUDs. I play music or Youtube in the background.

The problem many people are experiencing must be related to Ignition or HUDS. Not their computers needing to be replaced/upgraded.

There is no representative for Ignition/Bodog ITT. You would need to call or email support about this issues. Are you in the right thread? I know if i sit out and go outside for a break, when I am back, timed out and removed from table (6 max). So they can't camp for long.

Your computer and my computer and several other computers do not experience these issues. I have older posts itt, trying to help. Not everyone has the same configuration, nor the know how to keep background processes to a minimum. And, laptops do die, I have a win 7 machine, 8 gbs, still plugged in for my back up data from older days, and access to router, modem. I bet that machine would have problems due to win 7 not being supported anymore (I think), and someone above mentioned commodo firewall, again, not every computer is set up the same way. If they can not fix on own, or the laptop is not that great for multi-purpose, then why not get a new or separate one for getting rid of the issues? Easier to blame software than ones own set up. The guys on PG&C from Australia are hitting it hard in Zone, great results, watch many multi site with ignition on twitch, AT THE SAME TIME these folks are blaming the software. If it works for most folks, then it is not the software. That is all.

Also I live in Australia now for the last 4 years(born and raised in Las Vegas), and the internet sucks here compared to the U.S. and most of the world. Currently it ranks 59th in the world for land based internet speeds. But no probs.
