Is this new Bovada table color scheme/layout some sort of late April Fool's joke?

It looks like some play money MySpace game that was optimized for like a 640x480 screen.

While it shouldn't be necessary to do this:

If one of your cards is showing "black", if you briefly resize the window the card becomes visible again...

But yeah, ridiculous that it's happening

i usually use the 4 color deck. The standard deck works much better as the number are much bigger.

Oh, and what with the god awful color of the final table. A faded purple like a spinsters dress

anyone else's bovada program freezing up and closing out on them? If I open 4 tabels up real fast it crashes the program every other time.

Somewhat agree about recommending ACR for MTTs, but just know that the late regs last up to 5 hours. ****'s crazy.

Software crashed 5x in 10 minutes. I check the Task Manager, CPU usage is 100% and there are 20 instances of Lobby.exe. Had to manually end each one. Before tonight, didn't have any problems.

Edit: Just started another session, there are 18 instances of Lobby.exe, but CPU usage is only 24%.

Also, just noticed that Lobby.exe is still running even after I quit the client.

I'm experiencing this as well.

Is this normal behavior for a program and I've just never noticed it or is this anything to worry about?

It is kinda messed up. I heard my fan blasting late at night. I finnaly checked it out. The client was 'closed' had to go into task manager to close it.

This happens to me ~ 1/5 times too. It's like Ignition doesn't fully close sometimes, and when it doesn't it seems to being doing something in the background that is very CPU intensive, which is at least slightly worrying. Like what's it doing those times it didn't close properly but needs 50-60% CPU on a 2018 machine? Cryptomining? wtf

Considering the hate for the new update, including from me, I am going to go out on a limb and say the mobile version is almost perfect minus a few fixable issues. The desktop version is a disaster, but let's talk about the positives of the mobile version.

The mobile version is simple, spartan and clean. Building a better mouse trap is easier said than done. Building something simple but effective isn't easy. It has what it needs and in a reasonable design. The buttons at top right & left corner have much needed info, same for bottom left rebuy button. The table is a racetrack design. The player blocks are racetrack shaped, as are the player buttons. The bet design for pot/no limit is simple but effective. The notification bubble is well placed and can be turned off.

Fix the location of the pre-flop fold button, fix hand speed and give me a grey background color and this is about as perfect a mobile small format design as you could hope for. The Pokerstars' mobile is a very busy design for a smart phone, but looks great on something bigger like a tablet.

The Ignition desktop version? Well that is a cluster #@&%.

yeah, anyone who thinks this update is + for the recs may want to reconsider.

Naive to think they don't care about some of the same things we do wrt software. If the site is tough to play on they'll be far more inclined than regs to stop playing/jump off site etc

Recs dont know the difference between quality/horrendous software.

You really think recs are brain dead? Incredibly naive to think they don't notice an incredible step back in the software from what it was to what it is while they wonder what better alternatives there are.

Agree with all. This new software on Ignition/Bovada/Bodog has me leaning to just doing live poker. It's nauseating.

this is just absurd lol. Contrary to popular belief, not all recs are unintelligent. In fact, many of them are quite smart. Just because they aren't proficient in a particular game doesn't mean they're oblivious to these things.

I have his issue too.

I change seats on each table so that player 1 is the bottom center player. Then the HUD will align with correct player.

Multiple instances of the Lobby.exe was occurring (for me at least) prior to the recent update. Gave the new update a shot and then withdrew from the site. Not planning on going back until improvements are made.

I'm using a travel monitor that I can fit in a suitcase, but if I hide the taskbar and overlap the windows a bit I can read the bets ok. can still fit a couple tables from another site with the leftover space if I shrink them. works ok. its just so damn slow tho...and ive lost 14 of 15 all ins since update. confirmed rigswitch update

Here is Pokerstars' original 2012 mobile version. It looked too busy on a smart phone, but was awesome on something bigger like a tablet. Notice the design flaw here of only barely being able to see if someone had cards and was still in hand. Flaws can be fixed.

Played one MTT for the first time since the update and i won't be playing again if they don't fix this crap software.

Everybody know cards and action buttons are too small etc etc,but also this minigame thing pops out covering half of the table when i'm playing 15 tables in others sites, then i'm sitting out everytime because i don't know when the action is on me.

Maybe its possible to play if you focus only on ignition tables, but if you open one ignition table while playing in others sites its pretty much impossible to keep up with the action.

Just started my session, I have 2 tournaments going and the software is hogging up 60% of my CPU and completely bogging down my computer. No other sites or processes are using up more than 10%.
