Happened to me couple weeks ago. I couldn't get around it until I finally disabled my Windows Defender, which I don't think you really need if you have a good antivirus.

Anyone contact Bovada and get any solutions to this other than turning off defender?

I had this issue the last two days. I uninstalled and reinstalled Bovada today and Windows defender did not flag it. Windows defender also had some updates in the past couple days so it would be good to make sure your computer is updated then try uninstalling and reinstalling the poker software.

Based on what MalwareBytes is tagging it as (and probably Defender - have a screenshot by chance?) there’s likely nothing Bovada can do - looks to be a false positive and it isn’t tagged to any specific type of malware. More info here: https://blog.malwarebytes.com/detect...anomalous-100/

I reported it to MalwareBytes as a possible false positive. They’ll review and take a few days/weeks to update their whitelist if it is a false positive. For Windows Defender Bovada/Ignition will have to contact them (Microsoft) to work it out.

It's amazing to me how information on when the entire site goes down and comes back up is moved to a different thread, yet this stays...

When I ran Windows Defender on the Bovada app (after deleting and redownloading, Defender says there's a Trojan...not sure what to make of it.

Also, I contacted support and they said they don't have any reports of this problem -- I told them to come look at this thread for multiple people reporting it.

Here's the screenshot from Windows Defender:

Maybe a dumb question.

Is there a way to observe the cash game tables to even see what’s running without depositing? Doesn’t let be view any tables, only zooms

Are there any laptops that can 4 table tile Bovada without overlap? On WPN I can tile 4 tables without overlap on my 15" laptop if I move the taskbar to the left or right. But Bovada minimum sized tables are still kinda big, so I was wondering if a 17" or 18.5" inch laptop or some 4k laptop could tile 4 Bovada tables without overlap. I'm fine with the tables being small.

If any Bovada design staff read this forum, along with fixing the obvious software issues, move the cascade, tile, default size buttons down to the game description and lobby button title bar.

It's certainly not a dumb question since any rational thinking poker player would assume there would be some way to know how many tables are currently running. Unfortunately there is not and a good estimate has not been available since the introduction of Quick Seat.

Thanks, I thought maybe I needed to change a setting or something. Pretty odd, I have no idea if I should deposit or not because idk if my games even spread. I guess that helps keep tables even etc, but if I’m 7th guy for 6 max will it just open a new table?

It'll open a new table. What games do you play?

Mainly plo, 2-100, zone seems dead in that regard. Also any plo8 or lo8 games?

I primarily play NLHE cash games, but as far as I'm aware they have plenty of PLO traffic for the regular cash games. I don't think PLO has ever gotten a lot of traffic for the Zone format here.

I believe what I've read from people that play the less popular poker variants is that the implementation of Quick Seat really hurt the traffic for those games. It even lead to the elimination of some games like Stud. I think some of them still run at times, but only a regular of those games could tell you for sure.

PLO 200 seems to be running 24/7 from what I can see. Sometimes you'll have to table start but it doesn't take long. Dunno about about limit though.

I received an approx 500 dollar rewards cash back bonus (i'm assuming for losses lol).

I have emailed support but i'm guessing any poker winnings will go to my non withdrawable amount), poker is part of the playthrough requirements now earning 5xmiles but my calculations show that Id have to earn 800,000 ignition miles to clear it.

I don't even think 500k of hands at 500nl would earn that

I have emailed support but thought id post here too.

cheers

^^^^^^

In regards to the above post, I cleared the bonus, well 300 of it fairly quickly playing slots.

I am guessing the wagering requirements for a cash back bonus are different from other bonuses.

Literally anti rakeback you earn $ from playing poker but need to play house games to actually unlock the $ you earned playing poker with some ridiculous play through by the looks...should just cancel the whole system it's a massive fail, good for business though more people playing house games with the illusion of actually ever clearing the play through. Can't even use the $ earned from poker now to get a mtt ticket lol.
