the cashback bonus is bad for grinding poker because it only works if your truely a losing player. like it tracks your cashout history and triggers if your in the red overall

Anyone else experiencing these issues?
Those are common problems. There is not much you can do. Support will tell you to reinstall the software. If you do reinstall make sure to delete the hidden ignition/bovada stuff in (I forgot, where it is, AppData Roaming you should find some directories). That might help. But most likely you will just have to deal with the software bugs.

Re: Unofficial Bodog/Bovada/Ignition Thread

Just need to get something off of my chest, don't mind me:

Ignition, YOUR SOFTWARE IS GARBAGE.

I'm so ****ing tired of having to sit out, leave the table, then re-join the table, all just to get rid of the spinny-circle bug that constantly happens when trying to top up and prevents you from opening the "buy more chips" window again.

PokerStars had vastly better software 12+ ****ing years ago. It's pretty pathetic.

Okay thanks, that's what I figured. The wording of "cashback on losses" seemed pretty worthless.

Stay away from zone, rigged to fk. Full of bots, house players and regs. The retard streamers and coaches killed the player pool its now the equivalent of party fast forward. Well done.

It's not rigged, but finding people who are not regs or bots has been the process for years.

Re: Unofficial Bodog/Bovada/Ignition Thread

so i played event #3 of this turbo series. it was a 6max 150$ buy in a few days ago. in the lobby it stated it would pay at least 20% of the field. so i jumped in late and i noticed it wasnt paying 20% . there were 127 players but it was only paying 18 spots. 20% would be 25.4 and since it said at least 20% at least 26 would get paid. so of course i get 26th place lol. its really annoying because i wouldnt have played if 20% didnt get paid. and the buy in was like a third of my bankroll on ignition so i really needed to cash in it. so i try to talk to someone with their online support she was clueless. so i email and 5 days later today i get an email saying they can see i talked to someone in online chat and my issue was resolved lol. so today i call ignition and the guy is telling me there was 77 players in the tourney which is a total lie! there was 127 players .iam like dude there was 127 players i know how to read the ****n lobby. i forgot to take a picture of the lobby screen . so i guess iam just ****d but what a total **** show as far as customer support my god. is there anyway i can prove there was 127 players? i cant figure out how to see completed tournies on ignition.

Re: Unofficial Bodog/Bovada/Ignition Thread

Got an Ignition software update the other night, so I thought maybe they fixed the issues I've been having for weeks. Only mildly. I was finally able to access a hand history for the first time in weeks (though I was unable to do that tonight). It still takes forever to log in. Then it says cash games are down...but eventually loads those. Kept regularly giving me the "balance is not large enough" error too. Then the tab on the left that shows your balance and gives you access to stuff...it "grays out" so that you can't use it anymore.

Tables are slow to load. Kept trying to load Zone tonight and it kept giving me an error that my username and password were wrong...despite the fact that I was playing two normal tables at the time. The glitch where there's a big all-in that causes everything to lag to hell also seems to happen regularly.

Also, my internet connection went out (actually not Ignition's fault for once)...it never reconnected despite the connection coming back. I force closed the software, and it kind of partially did that along with crashing...but then it did what the guy above mentioned...it had a ton of instances of Lobby.exe running that were maxing out my CPU, so I had to close those individually.

If Bovada's front-end is better for some reason, I'm absolutely switching back over there ASAP. Has anyone that has had issues with Ignition's software had better luck with Bovada?

Re: Unofficial Bodog/Bovada/Ignition Thread

Just downloaded Bovada and fired it up...same log in issue, so I suspect it's going to all be the same. Also won't let me close the software...so force closed it...same max out CPU bug.

Sigh. Like, I know they've been pioneering terrible software for over a decade, but stuff that makes it literally unplayable for weeks is super annoying.

Re: Unofficial Bodog/Bovada/Ignition Thread

Sorry to hear guys, luckily lately things have been ok for ignition standards for me. You know still the usual bullsht.. adding on more chips happens hands after I requested. Lags happening, and occasional no sufficient balance. It's sad where online poker used to be compared to what it is today. Black Friday really hurt us and it's not right. They cant get a grip on crypto and the massive manipulation it entails but seize online poker operations go figure. Crypto wayyyy surpasses possible ill intentions when up against poker imo. Just not fair

Re: Unofficial Bodog/Bovada/Ignition Thread

Decided to register a "test" MTT today on the PC client. After a little lag, finally got it to sit me. Of course, I've been unable to register anything else. Also, whenever there's an all-in and call, the table essentially freezes. After about 30s, it'll show the next street, another 30s and another street, and another 30s before it shows the river. Then all of a sudden, it'll move really fast and "catch up"...which means I watch as my next hand gets folded from timing out. If there's not an all-in, the table is functioning fine, though I'm getting frequent pop-ups of "We're not able to process your request at this time" in the main lobby.

Like, I could call them...but what are they going to do? I can't imagine they'd acknowledge that they broke the software a couple of weeks ago.

What stakes are you talking about, I have noticed a ton of bots at the low zone stakes

I understand this sentiment and as you can understand an accusation like this is extremely difficult to prove in an online anonymous setting. But I will give you the quick overall method by which I have figured it out- sizing tells, timing tells, range tells pre and post, and the fact that this group of players plays literally 24 hours a day. I have been thinking about breaking down this with a very detailed data driven analysis in HEM but I haven't for a few reasons: the bots are still lol bad, and I can still crush them. It would take a ton of time and be met with doubters whom I would have to argue with (understandable but my time is valuable), also I don't want to tip my hand to any possible bot maker. They are still bad at the low stakes, though it may be the case that they are improving. I just don't know how high they would win at the games, probably not very high.

A few important points for anyone concerned or playing with these bots:

The fact that they run 24 hours a day indicates to me that they have to be winning and taking money out of the games. Otherwise they would have been shut down by now.

However there is a silver lining: they have to play a certain style given the anonymous nature of the site. This means there is a huge asymmetry in ranges (you can see their hole cards and map out their ranges, but they can't do the same for you). This comes in very handy exploiting these guys.

Re: Unofficial Bodog/Bovada/Ignition Thread

I played 25z and 50z, 300k hands. 1 year ago the pool was easy money I was winning at 9bb on 25z, now its a dead pool, now im getting destroyed for 50k hands, not a single winning day, villains keep folding and just playing the nuts or doing crazy bluffs and hero calls that only make sense when they can see your cards. Almost every pot, villains have a monster hand with random trash they call you terribly pre flop with. Same thing is happening to a few other zone grinders I know who used to crush.

This hand only makes sense if he can see my cards. The min raise, the river value, bet and snap call make zero sense with his hand otherwise. As for the idiot asking me to 'prove it'. Go play there and see urself lol.

As for the idiot? What?? Lol don't bring your tilting bitchy attitude in here. You think its out of line for someone to make an accusation and then be asked to provide some data to support their claims? How many times have you heard the game is rigged. You believe everything you hear right?

Sorry about your downswing, but I haven't seen any evidence of riggage. You've probably had a bad run of cards. Use as an opportunity to build/improve your game. I am still able to beat these games for a healthy clip.

I do agree with your assertion on the bots though, however they are still bad ATM. I don't think they would stop you from winning if you pin down their ranges. Also haven't seen any evidence that anyone can see my hole cards, you've been spooked.

I'd be more surprised if there weren't bots on the site. I still lol at you and your post. Though tbf to you, mirage is more lol. From rigging to bots to coaches and pros killing the $25 and $50nl pools. Oh and let's not just gloss past that lol hand he posted. Lots of lolz to be had.

I extremely doubt this, but at least you are admitting in this roundabout defensive way that you are not a high stakes crusher. Not surprising given your vacuous responses.
