Cliffs.
Yes you can get some refund, but only if you catch them lying.
this has happened to me twice with a flopped set of 9s both times, but they didn't give me any money

basically i was playing a limit game called omaha 8, it's a crazy game where you get 4 cards instead of 2, pretty sick but anyway at the end of the tournament, the bet was $150, the guy next to me goes all in for $100 well i had $110 and wanted to call, but bovada software made me bet $110 and not $100! THAT'S NOT WHAT I WANTED TO DO, I PUT MORE MONEY IN THE POT THEN I WAS SUPPOSED TO

i feel like this really affected me since this was $10 i could have saved for a future street or another hand, but i lost the hand, was all in and busted out

i think it's a pretty big deal when you can't even call a bet, but the fact that their hiding and not responding to email to me is ap retty big deal

Are you trying to tell me that its been a whole 30 minutes since you wrote them and they still havent replied?

This is unacceptable especially since the stakes are so high. Its outrageous.

I say every player on 2+2 boycotts Bovada until they provide you personally with your own personal CS rep. Maybe then they can answer your email in a timely fashion.

Thanks for the warning OP. Im done with Bovada. I hope everyone else heeds your warnings and joins me.

Also, Im confused, did you send them and email and ask for the buy in back?

You are definitely letting them off easy just asking for the buy in back considering all they put you through.

Maybe you should get the $500? Im not sure, but it wouldnt be unreasonable, you emailed them over 30 minutes ago for heavens sake.

Did you write them or right them? I'm confused. I'm going to assume by how ridiculous your post is that you're trolling.

Nice level, but you are confusing all the fish who depend on this thread to ask if their gift card will work, or if there is transfers, or if there is rakeback, etc. etc.

The same thing happens in FL cash games. In a 4/8 game if someone goes all in on the flop for $2 and you click call it puts in $4, and the action to the next player is $4 or raise. I believe you should be allowed to put in $2, just as you would be allowed to check if the previous player checked.

On most competent software, you can either call $2, complete to $4, or raise to $8, since the original bet was at least half of the required bet.

It's even more bothersome on the turn, as if someone goes all in for half the bet you are allowed to raise the full amount, so for example if someone goes all in for $4 on the turn and you wish to raise, it will make it $16 to go for the next player. Other sites allow you to raise it $8 more than the original bet if the original bet was at least half of the minimum bet at the time, so in that case the raise should be to $12.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

^^^^ LOL.. good one.

And BTW, Bovada software has lots of bugs. At times it does cost one money. On the other hand, who gives a ****! As long as they keep supplying the fish, they can do whatever they want in my book.

I mean, they shouldn't get a pass for costing people money because of their sub-par software. It's happened to me plenty of times. It's nice haing a stocked pond, but what good is it if the pond is surrounded by trees and algae?

*Glad to see the troll out of here

I know of alot of places that have a 50% rule. If the bet is 50% or more of a legit bet, the legit bet must be completed.

I'm not worried about the temptation of the ticker at the bottom, but the motion is just annoying. There isn't a way to disable it, is there?

I work at a place where WU transactions are processed. From my experience, anything below $1000 does not require an ID to send. Anything above $1000 to send does require an ID. Also, when receiving money from WU, any amount requires an ID to pick up the money. Anything under $1000 is just an ID, anything above $1000 is an ID plus another form of identification (usually a social security card or something like that).

My email:

I registered for a 50+2.50 sit n go last night. When the table opened, and after every subsequent attempt to open it, even after re-launching the client, the table would freeze and not allow me to play the tournament. The buy-in was deducted from my account but I was unable to play a single hand.

At the time the internet and every other program was working fine without any issues on my computer.

On my cash statement the entry for having registered for the sit n go is P59182294.

Dear ________,

Thanks for contacting Bovada Poker Customer Service.

We are sorry to hear that you have been experiencing some technical concerns while playing in our Poker software. In regards to this, please be advised that our Poker software has different servers that lets you connect to multiple tables. Whenever you join these tables, each of them are being connected to different servers which makes it possible for you to continue playing in other tables even if you have already been disconnected or timed out in one of the tables.

Experiencing lag or disconnect problems can be a common occurrence when playing any online game such as Poker. Lag concerns can be caused by different factors such as insufficient system resources and background programs that may be interfering with the game. If there are multiple programs on your computer running at the same time, this may cause interruptions that may slow down your computer as well as your internet connection.

We also have to understand that there is no perfect internet connection, no matter how fast our internet connection is, it does happen that sometimes there will be some interferences such as traffic on the network and some quick maintenance being performed by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). We do not really notice this if we are just browsing a website and doing a simple chat but with online games such as online Poker, you are playing against other players and therefore all actions are being done real time.

In the event that you encounter the same issue in the future, kindly log out and log back in to the Poker software. Clearing your history and clearing your browser's cache and cookies might help. We have instructions in the 'Technical' page of our help section:

https://www.bovada.lv/help/clearing-history

Our Poker Customer Service Team is available by phone and e-mail at poker@bovada.lv 24/7 to help if you need anything else.

Thanks,

Poker Customer Service

poker@bovada.lv

They absolutely refused to even mention the possibility of a refund. In the subsequent emails they just asked for more information (Hand numbers etc... how am I supposed to have those?), and then on the third email they basically repeated the above about clearing cookies and such. Absolutely no reference to even the possibility of a refund.
