I’m in the US so I don’t think that’s an issue but it was a few hundred.

Does every tourney that I enter ensure that I am competing against bots that may be colluding?

If by tourney you mean MTT then I think that's highly unlikely. It's probably significantly less likely in anonymous MTTs. I guess it could be possible in STTs, but still unlikely to be a combination of colluding and botting. I'm not even aware of if colluding bots have ever been proven. It was only assumed that the Stars PLO bots were colluding.

Collusion is always a concern in STTs, but it's really hard to quantify how much is taking place in anonymous games.

Any time you play internet poker these days there is a good possibility you will come up against a bot account. It's impossible to know how prevalent botting is in anonymous games from the players' side.

May want to email support to find out.

As awesome as free money is, having it taken away when you figured it was yours kinda sucks.

Trying this site out again, playing a $5 tourney. Its virtually unplayable because I can't get the table to pop to front or make a noise when it's my turn. So I keep missing my turn because I have no idea when it is my turn unless I'm staring right at my seat.

Settings look like they're supposed to be. Sound on, disable pop to front NOT checked.

Live chat said to log out and log back in and to refresh my modem. Lol

How the hell do y'all play here? Graphics are horrendous, no synchronized breaks, the anonymous thing is awful.

I got a random call from Ignition today and it was from an American lady offering me a 100% match bonus poker included. she sounded super professional and hot unlike the normal barely English speaking people they have on the phone.

First time playing tournaments in awhile and noticed a Auto Rebuy option under the sit out box. Not playing any rebuy tournaments so just curious if thats been there or something new they are about to try.

Word of warning to those thinking of joining ignition casino with a Bovada account. I was just banned after 2 days of play and received the following email

Quote:
Hello,

The investigation into your account has concluded. After a full review of the play in your account, we have found conclusive evidence of Multi-Accounting. As your actions were in violation of our players terms of agreement, your account will now remain permanently disabled.

Please note that any accounts opened by you, or that are found to be linked to you will also be disabled, and any funds in those accounts will be seized. This decision was made after careful consideration of all the facts and we judge this decision to be final.

Regards,

Ignition Security
I stopped playing poker 2+ years ago and decided to give it another go by creating an depositing in ignition. I now know that bovada migrated my account to ignition and they are using this to claim multi accounting. When I confronted Ignition security about this issue they mentioned that the decision was final and that there were other reasons why they were banning me and to read their TOS since they were not at liberty to say exactly what. I want to be clear, I have never played a single hand using the migrated account, so i am not sure what their claim is. Just a word of warning for the uninformed like me.

You are allowed to have an account at both skins as long as you’re residing in the US and not ever playing on both at the same time. Clearly there is more to your story. There always is in cases such as yours.

He opened a second account on Ignition. First account was the one originally migrated from Bovada.

Yeah, that is sketchy. Even if it was an innocent mistake.

If you open a new account you get the First Deposit Bonus. They probably think he's trying to get that without being entitled to it.

Everyone was emailed when Ignition opened about what was happening with your account. It obviously sucks if you forgot or never read the email, but you have to understand what it looks like from their perspective. All you can do is keep attempting to escalate the situation to a manager that can help and convince them that it was a mistake.

It is a good warning for those, like me, who never personally migrated their account over to Ignition. The best thing to have done would have been to contact them prior to opening the new account.

I use Table Tamer which is a month to month subscription service to deal with some of these issues. sucks that we need a 3rd party software to deal with stuff, but it is what is is.

This is what the security expert claims as well, but he said was not able to describe what it is. It sounds like BS to me, because then why did I receive such an email stating the infraction? That is not counting the most important fact, I have not broken any rules or done anything shady(aside from obvious multi-account issue). I will try to escalate to a manager tomorrow when they are back.

Emailed ignition asking what countries I could play from. They said USA and Australia only. This is incorrect right?

That may be correct for Ignition. There's other sites you can play on the Pai Wang Luo Poker Network(Bodog, Bodog88, Bovada) that offer games in other jurisdictions. You should post the specific country/countries you're interested in playing from and someone can give you a better answer.

From what I've researched Bovada Sports/Casino is available in Mexico, but for poker you have to use the Bodog network. Can anyone confirm/deny?

I'm thinking about depositing after not playing at all for 3+ years. I was able to log into my account. Is there anything I should be worried about other than how to get money on to the site? I have a message from 2015 about migrating to ignition. Can I still play on Bovada?

Yes. But understand that you have both accounts already, the original one that you created on Bovada years ago, and also the migrated one that was created for you on Ignition when Bovada temporarily closed their poker room. So just don't create any new accounts on either site and you should be fine.
