[Bodog/Bovada/Ignition] Unofficial Thread - Page 1955 - Online Poker Sites -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

1) Is this a general consensus (that Bov > Ign in terms of software/DC issues)?
2) If I reinstall the Bovada client and resume play from there, is that perfectly "okay" from the perspective of Bov/Ign?
3) Would I see the exact account balance/points etc from the Bov client?
4) Would I need to uninstall Ign software if the above actions were taken?
5) Would there anything I may not be considering in terms of a solution to the consistent DC problems?

Any feedback appreciated. Thank you.

I had horrible DC problems with Bovada before they split and then with Ignition. Since Bovada reopened their poker platform I have not been disconnected a single time, and when I play the freerolls on Ignition I will get dc'd every now and again. Move over to Bovada if you don't want disconnection issues. When you move over you will have the same poker points, but you will have separate balances. I don't know of any ways to resolve the issues with Ignition, but I do know you can have both sites installed and still play on Bovada without any issues.

I have to agree. I assume you are talking about Bovada.

In the past 6 months, I've set up accounts and deposited to:

Carbon, Betonline, Global Poker (an absolute JOKE site) and ACR.

I keep going back to Bovada for a number of reasons..anonymous, relatively easy players, excellent customer service, mobile zone poker, software, ease of deposit/withdrawals, etc...

Only real negative for me is the ridiculously long Late Reg time for tournaments..hopefully some day they will fix that.

Also, I wish they would add MTT's and SNG's to the mobile site like Carbon and Betonline currently have..

I haven't played online poker in about 2 years. I had a small balance...around $100 left on my Bovada account from a couple of years ago. Reinstalled the app tonight and the balance is showing $0.

What's going on with them?

They take your balance if you don't place a bet within 18 months. They do send an e-mail weeks before the time is up (wife had this happen to her).

Did anyone log in today to bovada? They took away typing and i can now only select from pre worded messages. How am i supposed to rage now???

Idk when everything just went south between this and other companies and the whole “achievement” crap with video games. It’s like they want to make things worse intentionally.

Also there is nothing wrong with the lobby. Bodog knows how to keep the games soft as balls. Why argue with their methods. Embrace them and quit crying.

+1. I've liked some of what they done over the years and haven't like some things as well naturally. They made games anon, havent strayed away from that in how long now? They changed the software 2 years ago, despite countless problems since they haven't changed that. They changed the cash game lobby to deter bumhunting and its very likely they're never changing that, atleast not back to the way it used to be. What people need to realize and accept is that they really don't go back on changes they've made

I just wish i wouldn't pop the little added box over the table every time I accidentally click someones name. Just let me turn all this emoji silly stuff off altogether.

It gets rid of harassment for sure but their are certain times chat has merit like when the table freezes and people ask if others are having the same issue, etc...
