10 sites--and they all have major drawbacks. Good luck getting your money back out of Merge. The rest have such miniscule player pools it's frustrating.

A small suggestion-let the mouse wheel adjust bet amounts.

And let me bring up my taskbar when in fullscreen.,

WSEX is not a real room through, so I wouldn't even count that one.

There really only are 3 "legitimate" options. The rest your taking way to much risk to even try them.

^^^Sad to say but this is still the best option to play poker for me. At least you can get your money off in a reasonable amount of time.

Just out of curiousity have you ever gotten a check from Bodog(vada) If so what type of check do they cut you? If he don't know anyone?

Out of curiosity, which of Bovada, Merge, Everleaf, Cake, and Yatahay are you eliminating?

I've had 12 payouts since since I've signed up for Bodog (May 2011). I've had checks for SE Asia, Canada drawn From US banks, and the handwritten foreign check that I couldn't cash plus I'm waiting on a payout from 12/25. I suggest you check http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...nk-names-1553/, you will see I'm a regular contributor to the thread.

Yatahay

I meant Merge, Cake and Everleaf as the 3 options to choose besides Bovada.

I don't trust Yatahay as a company. I may disagree with the changes Bovada has made but I still trust them with my money to not steal from me.

Unless Yatahay has gotten better AFTER their indictment ... previously to that I had only heard bad things.

It's not like the others are untarnished though. I've heard very little about Everleaf, so I can't speak there. But... Merge has been notoriously slow paying out, and there's currently a pretty big security scandal going on (there's a thread about it somewhere). Cake has had worse payout problems, and they had a major issue where they stole $60k from a customer, lied to him about why, then forced him to get a lawyer and sign an NDA before they would discuss things further. To this day we still don't know what happened with it.

I wouldn't trust Cake and won't play there. I did move my play from Bodogavada to Merge though. So far so good. About to do my first cashout so we'll see where that goes.

It was a wise step from Bodog to open Bovada.lv so that they had divided the risks. And personally I don't have any problems with Bovada's deposits/withdrawals.
I don't think anyone who follows the online poker industry has a problem with Bovada or Bodog withdrawals.

And regarding the divided risk: If you think the DOJ seizing funds from Bovada doesn't affect Bodog or vice versa then I think their little name change trick worked. Please correct me if I am wrong but it is my understanding they have a shared cashier still.

Don't get me wrong, I am not endorsing ANY us-facing site. In fact I am currently in the process of withdrawing all my money off-line from every site. So I meant relatively speaking if you still wanted to keep playing poker and have any shot of getting your money off in a few months then those 3 sites would prob be your best shot.

Just got the email, $25 for 50 poker points this week. No need to opt in as far as I can tell.

Bodog/Bovada is legit with the cashouts unfortunately their site blows to play on now after those changes they made.

I been on there for a while even when I was a huge donk on FTP. Long time players cash out through western union. I have not had any problems cashing out 2K max from western union with Bovada. Longest I ever waited was 9 days to get cash in hand.

I tried out Merge. I like the game play.... more regs but a lot are weak regfish (at least 25NL) plus rake back is nice. But after hearing these horror stories about not seeing your money for 2-3 months I think I'll bite the bullet and try to get use to bovada for now. Steady cash money within 3-5 days upon withdrawal..... this is the only legit site right now IMO.

I agree Bodava blows to play on. For some reason the games are so slow. I don't know if its the software or the players themselves distracted by the sports betting or something.

It's really bad after being used to the Full tilt Speed poker crack game they had a patent on.

Something I notice when I was 2-4 cent FL on Stars: the slowest tables had the weakest players.

I'll tell you what though they are growing by leaps and bounds their number 8 now on pokerscout, however once regulation takes place let's see if they can hang onto the U.S. regs i highly doubt it....comments?

Another question does the check say Bovada or bodog on it and does any cashiers ask any questions about the checks?

Have you gotten a check from a poker site before? (Non-sarcastic response: no.)

Also, deposit in an ATM if possible. If the teller asks, you can just say you have an online business.

No and no just deposit the check at your bank like normal. If you click on the link from my first reply, you will get an idea of what to do when you receive your payout.

Does Bovada still announce the King of the Felt drawing winner still? I can see who is the current winner but they used to show who won the drawing to play the current champ. (I wish I win the drawing one of these weeks)

They do not post it anymore. I sent an email asking them about it last week. They replied that they would forward that on as a suggestion. Not looking to promising.

hi i was a mainstay at bodog poker for years, my screen name was oxyman, and bodog prided themselves on never missing a payout, well at bovavda this must not be the case, the first check i received from them bounced, and when i called them they told me to redeposit the check, well i did and it bounced again, then they asked for bank statements and a bunch of nonsense thus stringing me along for a month, and after all of this i never got another check, they absolutely ripped me off, so i then cashed out another payout and this ones comes from honk kong and when i deposit this check into my checking account, my bank closes my account and tells me they no longer are going to do banking with me and are going to mail me a cashiers check for my balance. bovada never offers me another payout option just leaving my money in limbo after they never made good on my first withdrawal with them. are they deliberately doing this on purpose because i was a winning player. online poker is not as honest as it once was and i have been ripped off. the site truly did not make good on the bad check they sent me. this was not a good way to start off bovada by missing a payout the first month in business

Dont come and post all of these alarming accusations without detailing the story and what happened. You tell the beginning but never finish the story and that makes for TERRIBLE evidence. Most people, afaik, have not had a problem with bovada cashouts

EDIT: also, I have heard many times of Bovada/Bodog checks bouncing and have never heard an instance in which they did not reissue payment

Haha Cobalt blue you play on cake right? Anyway I never cashed out before, UB/AP played there for 3 years tons of UB points and 510.00 That I'll never see then i went to cake and the site I played on pulled out I got a couple of hundred there and then I tried Merge failed miserably after depositing 40.00 2x. The i went to Bodog(vada) since september and I got 200.00 on there now so really never got a chance to withdraw from anywhere yet hopefully this year we'll see.
