With all the complaints about Bovada's software, one MAJOR bug which is a total pain in the ass and hasn't been mentioned on here in quite a while is THE CHECK/FOLD BOX DOESN'T WORK WHEN YOU ARE IN THE BLINDS. It is completely ridiculous that you can see your hand, select the option to fold your hand, go surf the internet, someone raises your BB and the table STILL POPS UP WAITING FOR YOUR ACTION! This is by far the worst bug on the software. If you check the fold box and you aren't in the blinds it will work, but check/fold or fold does not work in the blinds. So annoying. I thought this one would get fixed in the first few days of the rebranding but somehow it has either been overlooked or they do not care.

Are you sure this is just the blinds? I could have sworn this happens to me even when I am not in the blinds. This is one of the worst aspects of the software fore sure.

Just click the fold to any bet button. Not perfect, but its a workable solution.

And the worst bug is the inconsistent alert when its your turn. This causes at least one timeout on the table every hand, dramatically reducing the hands/hour or hands/blind level.

If your a dirty NIT it would make sense. It is really easy to just nit it up on Bodog now and just leave the table every 20 mins (to stop the regs for gathering hands on your play), simply comming back into that same table with a different stack amount (so you know they are the same people, they don't know you) and just play your dirty nit game all over again.

Pretty unexploitable. Unless you are really good post flop (and usually people waaay over-estimate this, as I even admit I am a post flop fish).

Its actually easier to play now, I just sit and set mine and leave the tables every 20 mins ... why would you ever put a dollar in the pot unless you thought it was plus EV for that one specific hand.

The site is crashing on me 2 or 3 times a day now.

Anyone else have this problem?

Sorry if this has been covered but...how the hell do you show your hole cards?

I know its possible because every now and then I run into someone who does it constantly. for the life of me I can't find a button or anything for that option

funny thing is, I wouldn't even use it. I don't show. I'm just curious at this point

That does make you fold, but your table still pops to the front and I find that even more annoying.

Uncheck "auto muck hands" in preferences/game play settings.
Preferences is next to account under cashier button in main lobby.

Yeah the click to fold button doesn't always work either. It seems as if someone raises or re raises after you check the autofold or "fold to any bet" button you will be prompted for action sometimes.

my tables don't pop to the front, even though i have it checked in the preferences... it'll only pop to the front if the tables are cascaded, but when i have them tiled nothing happens... anyone else having this issue?

Any Advice for getting lobbies to work? I often can't see how many players are left, how spots are payed etc..

MTTs I'm assuming? Go to tournament lobby in the upper right hand corner of your table, you will see players left, blind levels,etc. Then go to tournament info in the middle of the lobby for payout structure.

They should because not everyone plays tourneys. I like the tickets but I like having more options to spend the points on.

I can't see full tables in the cash game lobby. Am I doing something wrong, or is it another terrible aspect of the new software??

ya mtts, i do that but it always says 0 players left and often says it pays 9 ppl when in reality it pays 27 or w/e. I am going to delete and reinstall today and see if that helps

How hard is it to have a functioning lobby?? It used to tell the correct info about 25% of the time. Over the past couple days everything is all messed up until the FT. Often times the info is far far off like today it said there were 15+ players until the bubble. I made a boarder line shove at any point in the tourney i get called and lose and it says the table is then hand for hand. Often times it reads that there are 0 players remaining in the tourney and 1 player at every table. I have a pretty tough time believing that bovada has "advanced" security features that make annoymous tables secure against colluders etc when you can't even have a functioning lobby or a quick fold button that works.

Bye guys. I finally got some money on Merge (Carbon). I dusted off HEM, cashed for a $60 satellite ticket on my new depositor freeroll, and I couldn't be happier. I don't care much about the slow payouts as I never mix my IRL funds with my poker BR and wouldn't need a quick cashout short of a dire emergency. If you were having any trouble getting money on Merge a few months back, I suggest you try again.

Yeah the tourney lobby sucks. I have no idea how many players are left at times. Maybe they don't want you to know so you don't play a certain way. welcome to Bodogvada poker the best in terms of not knowing who they want to be. If they could they would probably have the highest rake in the world.
