Your only other options are WPN and Chico, tbh. Where else are you going to go? Full Flush? lol

Depends on exactly what you're looking for.

I honestly think the HUSNG rematch glitch will be what finally gives me the last little push over the edge and into the abyss of complete insanity

I've used both greendot and netspend to deposit. And yes, all those stores sell them. Also Cvs, rite aid, dollar stores aka everywhere.

I have moved up in stakes three times in the last two weeks and haven't had a losing session on the site but once. It's that ridiculously soft lol.

As an aside, because he mentioned traffic - there's more traffic on BO, too. But the rakeback, software, HUDs, promo's, and fact that it's a grinders network may make WPN his only option. His choice.

I've been having a strange issue with my Bovada client lately. For some reason, I cannot join certain cash game tables. The lobby will tell me there are people at the table, but when I open the table, I don't see anyone, cannot sit, and get a message saying "you are disconnected. please try again later" or something like that after about 15 seconds of seeing the empty table.

It happens on both the Mac and PC version for me and only on certain tables. I asked a friend if he could sit at these tables, and he has no problem.

Any ideas?

Black Friday refugee new to Bovada. I like the site although it lacks many of the things I loved on PS, like a zillion players. No HUD no problem. There is a reasonable mix of good players and fish. Easy to figure out the fish in not much time. Aggressive players rob the blinds like crazy and as long as I don't go on tilt it is part of the game. I play tight and aggressive (or trap) and winning or in the money frequently. I am 71 and usually played 4 tables at a time on PS, but at my age the management load is to much, so sticking to one table and higher entry fees. Customer service has been responsive. No complaints, love being back in the game. Any tips on Bovada appreciated. May the odds be ever in your favor!

i just had a strange hand on bovada.

250BB effective

NL200

I have AK suited on the BTN
I make it 3bb
SB makes it 10BB
BB calls
I 4bet to 40BB which I think is a little crazy and maybe I shoulda just called.
Both players call

Flop is TJA
I bet 100BB and both players call - and it's all in

SB has TJ
BB has KQ

i'm like WTF how do they call 40BB pre with these hands and how do they both have me beat?

One of the worst flops for AK in a 4B pot. Not sure if I like your 4b sizing and jamming flop is almost alsways getting called by better.

I was definitely wrong about how the games have changed over the last month, the mid stakes games are so nitty its unreal. (not necessarily hard, but really nitty). If I see one more person only call pre with kings, then ch all 3 streets I guess hoping to "trap" someone into betting I am going to smash something. So tilting to value bet TPTK just to get owned by some nit who was too afraid to put in $1 with his overpair.

thinking about playing more on WPN, at least for the morning session. If everyone is going to be a nit I should prob at least collect some rake back while we trade coolers

Seems pretty standard to me, especially if the 10J was suited. Although that is more a night hand. Absolutely nothing suspicious at all, see that pretty much every day. They both may even be winning players too.

This is technically a good thing, though it definitely goes against our expectations. Everyone advertises GTO nowadays, and every tard misinterprets it and uses it in spots where it doesn't belong. I think more offshore players have came back as well, where some of these plays make sense.

On microstakes at least, it's ridiculous what they call with. I know it's good it's good in the long run but I scratch my head when they even call 4 bets OOP with things like A8o or set mining for a third of their stack. They're probably just recs who get excited seeing the possibility of a big pot.

A few of them have justified things like calling 6x pre with 44 and calling 4b pots with any Ace suited at 6NL and 10NL as "I'll call anything pre for pennies, bro. I don't need a range at these stakes".

So, yes - It's great in the long run. I watch them win one huge pot for 3 BI's when they flop a set and then lose 8 BI's continuing to be a total tard.

I might have come to a faulty conclusion based on today's session, I think I was just mad that I kept making 2nd best hands vs people who were slow playing in weird spots. I actually think the games are more aggressive in general, but today was just odd and annoying; I thought they would be good because of the championship game tonight but I was wrong.

But yes, I agree and also suspect there are more international players on here then just a few months ago.

it was a night hand - it was like 4 in the morning. I'm pretty sure it was suited
