I've been playing on a mac the past few days with zero problem. Seems odd that i'd be the only one on a mac that is able to play without rigging it up.

or just go to walmart and deposit via moneygram. call bovada before to get name of receiver. then call bovada after to give transaction # on receipt. the funds will be in your account when you get home. only pay small walmart fee. i paid $9 to load $500

Anyone figure out how to reduce Bovada hogging RAM. Just the lobby.exe takes up over 100MB and with tables open it goes over 150MB which is like over 5x what a typical browser RAM usage should be.

Is there a way to reduce this utilization?

This is what I'll do. Just loaded up Monday though and have to wait until next Monday to deposit again. Pretty lame.

So I have weird one. It says the download period for my 2015-03-15 HH is finished. I can go through the hands in the bovada client, but I need to download it for my pt4.

Maybe I already downloaded it, but I can't find any HH with that date on my computer. I'm confused.... Has the download period shortened, or what's going on?

The date on the file will be the date you download the HH. So potentially you could download 7 days of HH and all the files will have the same date on your PC. It shows the date the file is created on your computer.

Hope this makes sense and helps.

HHs are available for download for 7 days and they go into C:/Bovada/HandHistory/[Your Account Number]

fwiw, right before everyone started reporting problems, i logged in the other day and the client kept snap closing on me after i was 30-45 min into a session. I then noticed i had a system update available on my macbook, downloaded and installed it, and haven't had a problem since.

I withdrew the bulk of my roll as I needed quick money and plan on putting it back now. Since it isn't my first deposit, is there a transaction fee? I assumed it was free but reading here I see I was probably wrong. I'm Canadian and will deposit via email interac if that makes a difference.

What is the fee % if there is one?

4.9%, and your bank may hit you with an additional few % for a foreign transaction fee as some have reported.

No bad beat jackpot, but there is a royal flush bonus. 50 times the big blind, i believe. You just have to email support the hand # and they credit your account soon after.

can you get an audit from bovada of your account activity and if so how far back can it go?

There isn't a bad beat jackpot, but there is a bad beat bonus. It's under promotions on the website.

Available up to 31 days in-client or on website. AFAIK, they don't provide any additional activity, even on request.

I left Bodog after we got our Full Tilt funds back because I was afraid of the same thing happening with Bovada. If I decide to play again, I will be going in with eyes wide open - knowing that there could be robots playing, colluders paying, and my funds could be seized at any minute. Base your deposit on that understanding and live your life. Yes, you could lose it all.

I believe the bad beat bonus is 100x the Big Blind if you lose with Aces full of Kings or better and 50x BB for a Royal. Cash games only.

What's only 7 days?

Game transactions are 31 days.
Cash statements are 31 days.

Those two would cover what he's referring to, I would think.

Even hand histories are 31 days, if you view them in-client.

As a mod or whatever you are with 2p2 based on the color of your name, way to spread the fear mongering. "robots playing, colluders paying, and my funds could be seized at any minute" are not new issues. As said many times in this thread, bovada getting shut down is fairly unlikely. Bodog/bovada has been around for a long long time. Much longer than ftp and stars and pretty much most other sites. Also, some sites at least, have wised up since the pre black friday days. I like my odds at the moment.

And not to mention, even if RAWA passes for that scumbag Adelson, it has zero effect on current offshore sites.

Interesting, do you have a source on this?

They have always honored my requests for this. Usually around tax season I ask for my previous years activity. Not sure how far back they go, but I don't see why they couldn't send you your entire history. It comes in an excel spread sheet.

edit: I should clarify in-case I am misunderstanding, the spreadsheet I am referring to has a list of payouts (or deposits if you have any). It does NOT have individual table or daily transactions, nor does it separate poker activity vs sports betting etc. The tittle of the form is "Deposits / Withdrawals". It also does NOT have starting and ending balance (I had to look at mine to make sure so I wasn't spreading nonsense). It simply a list of deposits / withdrawals, but it does say by what method in case that matters.
