Some tables broke while i was playing and i wasnt able to get new ones up.
Did that thing where even after you close it, task manager shows its still running 4x and taking up 100% cpu.

There is one envelope in Win10 task manager for multiple running processes. There can then be a stand alone ignition 32 process running. THIS process is the hang up issue. I had to do the unload and reload new software a few times, now it is not as fast as the first installation, even with updates. However, clearing chrome cache (the last profile used if more than one profile) actually smoothed it out. Still get lags on sign in, but I am sure to end task on the hanging single process causing the problem.

IF that single process runs separately, you have the browser open, and you hear the fan whirring on your machine (I am lucky cpu rarely gets to 98%, but fan starts up at 30% sometimes). you can either keep playing (I did, see notes as to cpu), or close down and end task of that single instance of ignition. On Win 7, there may be multiple instances still running, and you will need to end task on all of them.

The updates MIGHT have something to due with the deprecation of flash player, which has been pushed out for more years than they have announced it. There are browser bits in the client itself (hence the clearing of cache speed up log in, etc). There are also multiple instances for sites that run on browser software, and they may be flashed based. Try to make sure flash is not on by default in your browsers, and clear cache again.

Hopefully, will work smoother, but my process of uninstall showed that registry, program and file elements remain even after uninstalling the program, so it is never a clean uninstall. Rebooting after uninstall, and after reinstall, did not help.

PS, ignition has its own uninstall program, and it does not work well at all, may not be in sync with the new software.

anyone having the issue where only 1 of 4 tables is disconnecting and needing to reconnect? seems like it is happening to me fairly frequently recently

Does anyone have a solution to the tables opening as black screens? Restarting ignition typically works, but I'll lose a good chunk of my stack if playing a sng.

I play on Ignition on a Mac and am actively trying to analyze my hand history. I have run into many dead ends. Does anyone know a work around?

Does anyone know of a fix for the constant pop up windows stating "were unable to process your request at this time". I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling on my desktop and laptop, and both PC's are doing it. So tilting! I know it's not on my end as I'm playing other sites at the same time without issue.

It means there is a bug, you have more than the max buy in for the table. Just click okay, and carry on.

Anyone know how many players the freerol for the bad connection had this past Saturday? Figuring out if it is worth it to make time on Thursday do for it?

Do they still have O8 traffic? If so, then that would probably be your best bet for the game type where you'd be least likely to encounter bots.


There are multiple places that sell bots for use on the network and there have been for a long time. How much any of them win long-term is not something I'm knowledgeable about since I have no idea how to identify a bot in anonymous games.

Please describe in detail your methods for identifying bots in anonymous games. Feel free to private message me if you prefer not to post your methods publicly. Not only do I think it's highly unlikely for anybody to be able to accurately identify most, if any, bots from the players' perspective in anonymous games, but being able to accurately identify them in anonymous Zone games sounds absolutely absurd to me.

A. Not any more? I know my way around ye ole internet. Don't know if its allowed, but there is a slots beat ai that can be programmed with c, some math, and neural network. Seek on youtube.

B. I am really tired after having dealt 6 hours with a software issue. Perhaps pm later. I will start out with patterns. Folds that make no sense. I replay all the hand histories, even the ones I'm not involved with. Yes, time consuming, but patterns + recognition + reactions + actions + solutions -> to evolved patterns make the essence of solvers (I hope). PS, I may have got the cycle out of order, sorry, tired.

I just took a brief look around and found multiple sites with table map updates for the network posted in the last month. How well they are working I can't be certain. I am also of the belief that most of the better bots are most likely coming from private groups as opposed to what's commercially available with a quick Google search. I just use the public forums as a reference for how well sites are doing to deter bots. When they list networks as either low or poor security and there are several downloads for their updates I think it's a pretty good indication of how well the networks are dealing with the issue.


Please break this down for me in layman's terms about how this relates to identifying bots in anonymous games when you have time and are in a better state of mind. Obviously I'm coming from a place where I believe most things outside of significant statistical data are too unreliable to be conclusive, but I'm open to be proven wrong.

dumb question but... can american players play on either bovada or ignition? I used to play bovada but moved over to ignition. Can I still deposit on bovada and play? I realize same pool but want to change it up see if I can not get doom switched for once.

You can have an account at both sites and play poker from each. You just aren't allowed to play on both accounts simultaneously.
