LOL everyone and their monther already knew bodog was extremely soft even 4 years ago.

The software being ****ty as possible with no rewards program is what keeps most regs away. Now, with the site being almost unbearable to play on, it's not gonna magically alter a normal player's mind with the site being "soft" to play on.

Sorry, I found that article and saw that Calvin Ayre replied and thought that was the one I was looking for. He had several comments in other articles stating things like the "sharps" weren't welcome and that the site was geared towards "net depositing" players. Check the Bodog thread in this forum for a number of examples.

so regs are leaving bodog, and you jump at the opportunity to give them reasons to stay. why?

Thanks for the info. Though, I have to point out that your signing of every single post "Morphy" is really tilting me. We can see who you are by the name to the left of your post.

Yeah, I've been told. It goes back to the BBS days when people signed their posts. Just a habit. Since it bothers so many people I continue to do it. Happy New Years!

Does anyone know if anything more is changing to bovada for US players on 1/1? Or is the change already done?

Also, there are still a number of bodog licensed operators still in operation including Bodog.co.uk, Bodog.ca and Bodog88.com (Check out BodogBrand.com for more details on this). If any of you are playing on these bodog branded sites I'm here to help- just PM me to get my attention.

Thanks!

Can you please tell me why Bovada is on the same network as Bodog? I would think that's because there still together!!

I'm not saying it is rigged, in fact I doubt it, but it is hard not to get frustrated and wonder if you are getting fleeced when things go very badly. I hate this anonymous bull****, and to find out some of you are circumventing it by using holdem indicator only makes it more frustrating.
I just had a week long downswing I lost 50.00 in beginner tourneys because of suckouts and not winning many coinflips seems like i turned the corner though i made up a good chunk of what I lost, just keep at it!! Also go get HI it is the only Hud that semi-works.

I want to get Holdem Indicator but I don't want to buy it if Bovoda may block it in the future. If HEM and PT do not work just because they have not been updated, then, I don't have to worry.

PS. Mucked cards can be seen again in the HH for the last hand only -- just like before.
Nope they just don't work PT3 and HEM have to update to pick up on the anon tables don't see why they won't it only means more money for them.

Yea now with anon tables it kinda evens up the odds for a while until you figure out whos the donk and whos the good players usually a couple of orbits you will know.

I've played on bodog without a HUD for cash games and did fine after they had a major update that caused HEM and PT3 to not work for a couple of weeks. With this new update I'm not doing that well. The games aren't fun anymore, it goes even slower with the new software, it's just overall negative playing experience.
Did you multi-table? Because i'll tell you i was playing 3 tables and went to 4 and with the 30 seconds time periods it has really helped me move the game right along still slow but acceptable.

1) anonymous play - allows potential for collusion, bots, etc. Did not eliminate hud ability completely. Got rid of things like avatars and location display which fish loved to discuss.
2) eliminated ability to see mucked cards even tho u can ask to see them at casino.
3) reduced sound options to all or nothing
4) if u have sound on then the alert goes off when the hand starts being dealt rather than when it is your action. Causes tons of players to timeout.
5) removed the 3/4 pot option.
6) removed the already crappy rakeback option of converting pts to cash and offer pts to tourney toys instead. Awesome benefit for cash players like myself.
7) whenever you are in the middle of typing something clever in the chat box and another table pops up it clears what you have typed.
8) the hero is not in the same spot on each table and the highlight of your seat is so faint you time out trying to find out your position before u can act.
9) table windows are even more laggy
10) lobby is even more laggy when clicking on what u thought was a table w open seats
11) balance takes forever to update when u close your tables. Sometimes u have to relaunch.
12) there's no longer a warning sound right before u are about to timeout.
13) the lobby doesn't save what games and stakes you left unchecked the next time u log in.

Merry Christmas to us courtesy of Bodogada.
1. we know this.
2. Is working again.
3. Lower your volume on your pc.
4. Just keep clicking the tables every minute make sure your not t=sitting out.
5. This one sucks.
6. Yea I agree but they did add tickets to freeroll tourneys if you cash in 3 STT's in a week. I nailed 35.00 in my second freeroll tourney.
7. I just disabled chat.
8. Nothing you can do bout that.
9. Actually since the update my tables don't freeze anymore or lag...that's been the best part of the update for me at least.
10. same as 9
11. Just click the refresh balance button, it updates it faster.
12. Yep there should be two of them.
13. I hope they fix that.

When you say keeps most reg's away are you talking bout the ones that went to merge or the reg's that their losing?

Not really, they have been managed separately for years anyways and the US operations are now also visibly separated with Bovada, who is operated by MMGG.

Yeah I don't get why these guys can't understand how skins work. Bovada is just a skin of the Bodog network now.

I was trying to make a point to becky that she said in one thread that they are together and in another thread she say's their separate...seems like she doesn't know what she thinks she knows.

Is it an entrance requirement into the Rigtard Guild or something that you guys aren't allowed to form coherent sentences? You would do a lot better for your cause if you didn't all come off like drooling idiots.

Ever since I gave up on trying to get money deposited on Merge and had to settle for Bodog, I don't think I've written anything good about them. So in the spirit of the holidays I'd like to mention what I currently like about Bovada.

(1) Games are still soft, probably softer now that so many regs have been chased away
(2) You can see now see villain's cards at showdown if you check the HH
(3) Players sitting out are now clearly marked as so.
(4) Not rigged, sorry to even bring up the subject upthread.

Happy New Year everyone.

Here's to hoping that this time next year we'll all be playing on a sanctioned network on some sort of awe-inspiring cross between Pokerstars and Full Tilt, with hundreds of thousands of Zygna players joining in on the fun.

Just moved all the rigged crap to the rigged thread.

For those who are somewhat new here, this is how it should work:

If you want to vent about bad beats: Beats, Brags, and Variance

If you want to discuss your theories about rigged site(s): The great "Poker is rigged" debate - Collected threads edition

If you have some actual solid evidence (with a decent sample size) that you would like to share, go ahead and start a new thread. But if you don't have anything more than your observations, the thread I linked above is where you want to be.

Hooray Bovada. My first cashout approved in 37 minutes -- check on way by courier.

After hearing all the agony people go through on other sites -- while I was waiting for approval I was looking at all-in-one printers (w/scanners) thinking I'd have to send all kinds of ID.
