It took two weeks, but Im all squared away with Betfair, just paperwork lag on their end...

I wonder if anyone from Betfair Poker could comment on the following:
On 22nd January some people fraudulently accessed my exchange account from three different countries. All the funds (around £235) were transferred to poker and lost to other players. At no point was I warned of anything happening despite the obvious fraud occuring. At no point were the funds frozen. Betfair took no action at all. Despite Betfair being well aware that money was fraudulently taken from my account, and being well aware of where it is now, they are refusing to return it to me. This is clearly my money, which Betfair did nothing to protect. What justification do they have for not returning it to my account?

How about, ditch ipoker & move back to Pokerchamps software? Biggest mistake ever to ditch your independant client and I wouldve stayed instead I can get 65% rb on every other ipoker skin. That site was so ****ing awesome.

Hi Rep maybe you can help me out with the following. A while back I started a HM get-it-free at Betfair but halfway they migrated to the IPoker network. I collected some points on the old network and would like to know if and how many more points I have to get on the new network to complete the get-it-free. Support can not help me and have no clue what I'm on about. Is my get-it-free still active at Betfair or ?

Promotion 'Hand of the week' says ~'HU games don't count.'

What does this mean, are only HU tables excluded or any HU PLAY, could i win jackpots if i play 6max rookie tables, but there are only two of us at that 6max when hand is dealt ?

My guess would be that Heads-Up formats (not HU hands on a 6max or full ring table) are excluded. But you can always ask the live chat or support by email to make sure.

You know Ive always wanted to know why Betfair left their own software to come to Ipoker because there is simply no way on earth that they are doing better now than they was back then. It had such a good community feel and the forum was always busy and buzzing. Nowadays, their own forum is a ghost town and even the die-hards have said they've had enough and have gone elsewhere. Now i know betfair is predominately a betting exchange site but i lot of the poker players (myself included) did both, so why are they not bothered about what us poker players say? Harry the Betfair rep started this thread last year and as Mike has pointed out, it hasnt taken him long to vanish. I hope that one day betfair actually listens to the people that have been loyal to them and go along a Unibet-style route and go standalone.

Betfair left Ongame to join iPoker and not their own software.
Because they barely make any money with poker.

I got a 'hand of the week'. It disconnected me during the hand. It reconnected, i sent a screenshot and claimed 'jackpot', played some more that night.
Whole week BFair made frivolous excuses not to award me. Then i made an error of mentioning that my town is flooded, i lost my temper and energy, but mainly to explain me not pressing the issue/emails more urgently last couple days..

On February 11th, 2014 I sent a wire transfer from a Canadian bank to the information provided to me by Betfair. My account has not been credited, and after months of back and fourth between myself, my bank, and the bank in the UK that the transfer was sent to, my account has not been credited despite the wire going through successfully to the Betfair account.

I have contacted support, as well as my affiliate but have gotten no assistance whatsoever. I have a screenshot of the information provided by betfair, as well as information of the wire which all corresponds accurately. I am confident that all the information I inputted in my wire is accurate and according to the information that Betfair provided.

What is my next step in resolving this issue? Any help would be hugely appreciated.

I am in a frustrating situation at the moment and am not sure where to go from here. On Feb 11, 2014 I sent a wire transfer from a Canadian bank account to Betfair poker. The money I sent has yet to appear in my poker account, and upon contacting support, I am being told that they do not see any record of that transaction. After speaking countless times to my bank, as well as the bank in the UK that the money is sitting in, it has been confirmed that the wire went through and the $ is sitting in their account. I am extremely confident that the information that I used was correct, and have screenshots/proof that the wire information Betfair required and the wire information I provided to my bank are identical.

Where do I go from here? Both support and my affiliate have been no help at all and I am concerned about seeing my money again. Any information or next steps from the community would be amazing.

You need to send Betfair a statement from your bank showing the above transfer and the account no the funds went into. It should be a relatively easy escalation for them and Worldpay will be able to trace the funds or give an explanation.

Those aren't my bank details, those are the bank details of Betfair, which are available publicly to anyone who wants to make a deposit onto their site. The only personal information there is my username, and my specific reference number which I can only imagine would be relevant if someone wanted to wire money into my account on my behalf. Appreciate the concern from everyone and please correct me if I'm wrong.

I tried emailing support a few months ago and got nothing, and it was only recently that I found out that the funds were indeed sitting in their account (according to the UK bank). However, sending them an additional email as well as one to wordplay couldn't hurt and hopefully will resolve the issue. Thanks for the suggestion.

Still not the best idea to be posting your account info on the forums, especially in response to an account that could've been created by anyone. In this case, it was registered to a Betfair email address, but there was no way of knowing that before I checked. As that's not their registered rep account, I removed the post; have you tried contacting their rep here, who is the OP of this thread I've merged yours into?

Tried using the Poker side of Betfair for the first time last night. Seemed kinda dead, is there a peak time for getting games going on it?
