I played an SNG on Sunday night then in the early hours of Monday played the Wormhole but the mission did not complete. When I started the tournament I think the time was after 1am CEST so this should have completed right?
2am CEST as in summer we're two hours ahead of universal time which is calculated based on the position of the centre point of the universe (Greenwich).

I'm pretty sure for tournaments the relevant time is when you bust out though, not when you start.

And does it REALLY need a chat box to mock sb about that and show how smart one is?

Does it give some extra XP points to the ego?

And so what? And what would you tell him/her?

I am pretty sure changing alias has more to do with evading potential huds than trying to trick whatever little skills you have

You really are really dumb or have a huge ego. Why would you want someone to know who he is instead of exploiting him letting him think he is unknown? This has to be the dumbest reason to have a chatbox. Did you even think that the reg might not even use a chat even if possible?

Dear X,

This is a notification that your recent withdrawal of £5,000.00 has been cancelled and the money returned to your betting account.

The withdrawal was cancelled as we cannot allow the withdrawal of any money that has been deposited and not played. You need to play your deposit before you can withdraw any money. For example, if you initially deposited £10, you need to wager £10 in total. You will then be able to withdraw your winnings.

Kind regards,

The Unibet Team

---

I then contact live chat because this seems a bit ridiculous and get this:

They have cancelled your withdrawal and have advised me that you need to play through your balance of £7, 920.74 until they will re instate your facility to be able to withdraw from your account.

---

So I need to play £8k through raking £240 (3%) to get access to a single penny of my money. How can that even be a thing? I put in decent volume on Unibet, I've raked loads but as of right now I need access to some of my money and they're not giving me that. ****ing ridiculous.

Update: I've asked for a manager to call me and they don't have a single manager in the office today. What a joke of an operation. Where, when you're depositing, does it state that you need to play through your whole balance?
Hey,
first of all, yes that is absolute standard in the scene, you need to wager the full deposit before you can withdraw it, this is a general rule to prevent money laundering and other fraudulent activities, however it mostly goes for Sportsbetting/casino where it's easy to see how much one wagered, with poker it's trickier, especially when bigger amounts come into play.

You will have that problem with any other site, not just us, those are regulations set by the gaming authorities.

And asking for a manager doesn't work like this, we're not a restaurant, if the manager or supervisor was called every time a customer asked for it, we would not have a break. We try our best to process payments as fast as possible but you cannot expect it to happen within a few hours, sometimes it might take longer, especially at later hours.

I think it's fair to say that we are one of the fastest paying providers and we try our best to help which is simply not always possible especially during busy periods (like the World Cup).

My advise for the future, whether it's with Unibet or another provider, only deposit what you are willing to play for because I can say, there are reasons for having rules like this, rules I did not understand before starting working in player safety but I do understand now and support.

Thanks

Had no idea there was a playthrough requirement on any site when the deposit was literally 10x the maximum deposit bonus.

So if he deposited 100k he'd have to wager the entirety of that amount?

Where did you get the idea he was using a deposit bonus? And why would anyone deposit 100k to ub? Or do you mean it's ok to deposit big to launder the money easily? Surprises me that 2018 there are still people that don't know about this. Allmost every legit site you need to wager your deposit atleast once or pay some % fee when cashing out.

Is there any way to remove the roulette and blackjack icons from the tables?

'Fraid not. Poker only accounts for a teeny-tiny proportion of the company's revenues, so we're lucky we've got a separate poker client at all.

Ah thanks, think it's the first site I have ever played on where you don't have the option to turn it off so thought maybe I had overlooked it.

Hi,

Can I play legally from anywhere in the US on Unibet while travelling there with my existing European account, on my laptop, no VPN?

Thanks!

Simple answer, no you can't. But if you cross the border to Canada you can since Unibet is open to Canadian players.

Some players try to use a VPN while staying in the US but then you risk your account getting closed.

You can put a stop loss in the account section on casino games. If it isn't the icon per se that is annoying.

Not sure whether it's intended or not, but the "make a straight containing an ace" major challenge does not give credit when hitting a royal flush.

Are there any future plans to avoid people being able to instant leave and re-join with minimum buy-in after doubling their stack on cash game tables?

Some people even do it when there are up like 1/4th of a buy-in. It is probably the most frustrating thing I have ever experienced during online poker. It is especially frustrating for the players who are looking to play bigger pots or who want to play deep stacked.

I'm pretty sure that to complete each step of that challenge, you need the screen to say "Straight" for your hand ranking, so any straight that was also a flush or straight flush wouldn't count.

I did not get any feedback on this, but again, I insist as I had it really rough for almost 6 months with my mac after the initial release of Unibet 2 and while things were smooth again henceforth, I have been getting once again software crashes on an hour basis since the July update

Maybe it's a Mac issue. No crashes on my PC client for a couple of months. Mostly sunny here.

I highly doubt it, given that I purchased this Mac (2 years ago) during the end of the tenure of Unibet1 and had absolutely no problems back then. The crashes started with the release of Unibet2 (along with many other people) and while the issue was never entirely fixed, the crashes happened once a week/once every 2 weeks, not every single hour.

Think he meant the Mac client, and not your specific hardware.

I also stressed to the VIP manager on live chat that I needed the withdrawal today (Paypal withdrawal so would be in my bank today), he said he would speak to the payments team to get this sorted instantly and 3 hours later nothing was done. The guy on live chat just now said they finish at 10pm so in 2 hours they were unable to process one payment, impressive. There was also no manager that I was able to speak to at either 6pm today when the issue arose, nor at 11pm when I wanted to ask why nothing was done.

I'm not sure whether I am a 'VIP' on Unibet, I'm a higher stakes player to most so maybe but if that's the case it just makes tonight all the more ridiculous. I was unable to speak to the player safety team that blocked my account and I was unable to speak to a manager, not exactly a great way to treat your 'VIP' customers.

Whatever, good luck getting my business back.
That's not how it works kid. Cashouts take a few days. Try cashing out a few days earlier, you highstakes pro. You sound like a ****ty dude tbh. Goodbye!

Paypal withdrawals generally take 2-3 hours 'kid'. You keep making those $50 transfers.
