Is it true that some people use HUDs on Unibet capturing the screen? And what is Unibet doing to prevent this? I mean it is would be a massive advantage over the field , right?

Only against players that don't change their alias.

It's a known software, so I guess Unibet can't do much to prevent it?
And there are still advantages, even if players change aliases.

Well there's no text hand history on Unibet, so programs have to capture hands some other way.

Oh ok I had no clue how Unibet software actually functions, I use PT4 but it obviously doesn't do anything for Unibet. Kind of surprising they can't detect people using other programs tho. I've gotten a warning before for using stack and tile, I still use it now but don't include Unibet tables.

it's not really, would only slow down the process, eventually they would have enough useful stats for any alias

If you are changing your alias (using a new one, not rotating existing ones) even monthly nobody is going to get a decent enough sample on you to make these stats worthwhile.

I know people have suggested there are HUDs that work but the companies trying to sell the software are not hiding it so it should be easy enough for Relax and Unibet to get hold of a copy and find out how it works and create deterrents. I think Andrew had mentioned before he left they'd caught a load of accounts using illegal 3rd party software and shut them down.

I would be curious to learn more about the techinical process, as I quit PartyPoker a couple of years back specifically because of the widespread of an illegal hud a few weeks after they stopped collaborating (no more extensive downloads of HHs) with the good functioning of PT4/holdem manager... It seems to me that if it was so easy and low in costs to counter/detect these huds, Party would of done something as well, but I suppose that the costs were too high and they just let it be...

Disclaimer : I have not played on Party since and have not followed suit on if anything has been done afterwards... (I quit 2-3 months after illegal huds invaded the player field and you either had to cheat/become one of them or maintain your ethics and change sites).
