Yeah I too paid 25€ extra because of that. Luckily it wasn't 100€ rebuy though...

David, Sunday was a bit of a disappointment. Everything r/a, shallow chips and late reg too long. Similar feedback from those who came to play series.

Sats throughout Sunday were excellent although payout set up needs correcting. They do need to be consistent over the whole period.

Simple, elegant decision as to what to do with leftover uos tix. You went three quarters of way to have a simple solution at the start. Hope you go all the way next time.

Can you please take another look at which tix comes up when registering/rebuy/add on. It shows first expiry instead of sat specific.

One of the mains offered rebuy first instead of add on even though we had more than starting stack (Not standard). This can give the feeling unibet are pulling a fast one. Maybe a change in window design that offers both next to each other so people dont get confused.

Ive had quite a successful series. My gut feeling is ill play slightly fewer but targeted tournies. A few regs who were not as lucky as me may chill out till next pay day.

Overall quite enjoyable and a very decent platform for you guys to build on.

Nice series! Only two things to suggest:

No overall leaderboard. Highrollers felt they had to play in games that didn't mean anything to them, because of the points. and we guppies could do without the sharks

I would like a main event that isn't a rebuy tourney. I would be ok with you increaseing the buy in ammount if you also run a lot of sattelites for it.

Overall I think there were too few sattelites for micro/nano players to get into the higher buy in tournaments

What would've been all the way?

Allowing tix for sats as well as mains.

Allowing live event tix.

Can I play though two bonuses at the same time? If I have the first deposit bonus active and decide to buy a playthrough bonus from the store, can I grind both simultaneously or the second bonus starts only after the first one has expired/is complete?

They stack. If you buy the playthrough it'll just sit dormant until you complete your first deposit or it expires.

Why do you like 9-max? You enjoy folding more or you just think your higher boredom threshold gives you an edge over people who don't?

+1. 6-max is sort of lottery. 8-max or 9-max is much better suited for non-hyper texas hold'em.

E: It might not be so bad with larger fields, but ofter 6-max @Unibet plays 4- or 5-handed due to smaller fields. Even 8-max plays of 5- or 6-handed with small fields.

Hello David,

My double trouble and super double trouble tickets expired. Could you bring them back to life for me please?

Also, my ticket for the unibet open freeroll package has expired, would be great if you could bring that back too!
Thanks in advance!

There was plenty of discussion about there being too much 6-max when the schedule was released last October, including David agreeing it was weighted too heavily towards 6-max. Unfortunately neither that or the seemingly random structures you get for a 'Singularity' depending on the the time of day and buy-in have not changed either.

There also appear to be changes made to the schedule without any announcement of them happening. The supersats to the UOS E79, for example, paid out exactly the number of tickets in the GTD and the extra prize pool was then distributed to the ticket winners as well. I don't see an issue in running this kind of format but not telling the players this is what was going to happen is not right. A single weekly post (here or on the community) about any changes for the following week would be great going forward.

I'm all for trying new structures and formats but at least let us know when we're going to be the guinea pigs before we pay the rake.

It’s the other way round; When you are forced to play tighter ranges the variance of card distribution plays a much more significant factor in your success in an individual tournament.

I don’t play MTTs that much, but aside from giving casual live players an online format that doesn’t terrify them, I can’t think of any good reason for 9-max games existing online.

With 9 max you get dealt slightly fewer hands per minute as it takes more time per hand, but the real difference is in terms of the number of hands "played" (rather than open folded because you are too early or someone earlier has already raised). So an 8 minute-level 9 max tournament is more like a 5-6 minute 6-max - because of the greater time you spend sitting without cards or without the action on you - and also plays shallower.

Shallow vs deep is another question, but for a given desired level of average stack depth they can do it with shorter levels in 6-max than they can in 9-max.

The above makes 9-max more of a lottery.

Hey David, to answer your request about the how to get the word around of Unibet in Canada, I believe a simple, cost-effective and efficient way, is through the "Canada Poker Community" facebook page. Party Poker already puts up ads on there and it would require little time and effort with a decent return (many recs post/read the forum along with known pros like Mike Leah and others...). I know the mod/creator of the forum if you want to contact him (he is also on 2 + 2).

Outside of facebook, I can't overstate - once again - how much of a poker hub has Montreal become and especially at the Playground ; if poker has been dying in many cities and alas , in western Canada, there was 50 tables on a Monday afternoon at 4pm There was a random Monday, no tournament series were running (but there was a tournament going on, obviously). Call it the Duhamel ripple effect, I guess... Anyhow, that was my 2 cents.

edit : there is also a Party Poker Rep answering questions about the upcoming Party Millions 10 million guarantee in Montreal in the Canada Poker Forum, for instance, so it could be a way to interact directly with recreational players about Unibet online and Live events.

Quick question regarding playthrough bonusses. I have a 5 of them with the value of 5 EUR each of them lined up but the first one says "expires in 90 days". Do the other bonusses stay "dormant" or do the ones that have not been activated also start counting down from 90 days of will that 90 day period only start when the bonus gets active ?

I had to wait a few days last week so they might exchange them only a few times per week maybe ?
