I think it would be better for the ecology if 1€ sngs were removed. Right now there is this weird situation that more 4€ sngs are running than 2€. The same is probably true for mtts, too.

Okay and? What's the point of removing them? What does it matter that more 4's run than 2's

Yesterday morning there were more PLO800 tables running than PLO 50, 100, 200 and 400 combined.... Does that mean we need to delete them

It's btw verry logical that more 4's run than 2's and 1's. Since the step between 4's and 10's is bigger than the earlier steps

^^ games will fill up more quickly and become softer. 1€ mtts are a waste anyway imo.

Guess what: the 1€ bounty tournament at night is having between 170-200 players each night so it seems a lot of players at unibet want to play useless €1 mtt ... I believe its the tournament that has the most players (except for freerolls) so i'm sure the demand is high.

As a recreational player, i'll stop playing if the small stakes tournaments disappear, and i believe Unibet wants to keep small stakes players coming back on their site.
I personally would play even more tournaments at €1 level if there were more 9 seats freezout at that price.

To each their own but don't make assumption based on your high level of poker

Still trying to figure out how the "ecology" improves by removing lower stake SNGs (I don't play them, just asking). Would those small stake players that still want to play an SNG not then move up and face better competition and lose more quickly/likely?

Give players options and they will sort themselves out.

It's basically like not introducing NL2/PLO2. This way NL4/PLO4 is very soft compared to other networks and this adds up to higher stakes as well. I think the differences between 1€ -> 2€ -> 4€ -> 10€ are too small and 2€ -> 5€ -> 10€ would be better.

Your system has a smaller gap between 5E and 10E than the present one has between 4E and 10E.

About 2 years ago there were no 2E tournaments (or at least SNGs) - it went just 1E - 4E - 10E.

Not sure what it's like now but initially the 2E SNGs were relatively hard as (IMHO) it was just people who'd moved up after beating the 1E level and there weren't so many people in the habit of depositing to play them.

But generally not sure why there needs to be big gaps between levels, at risk of paraphrasing Monty Python, the gaps now are "too small for what purpose"?

well, that's exactly my point.

I don't think the gap between stakes matters too much, too. But mtts go from 2 to 5 now, so I think sngs should as well.

standard mtts have 1-2-5 buy ins.
the sats have 10c-1-2-4-5-10 buy ins.

Dont see why you would remove 1sngs if someone is trying to build a br from nothing they want to be able to play as small as possible.

Family and friends that I have got to join Unibet only really play for fun and a few of them have run it up to 500+ euros and they still play the cheapest sngs/mtts because they play for fun, if you tried to force them to play higher, they would withdraw and find somewhere else.

My main reason is that there aren't enough games running off peak hours and I don't think that 1€ and 2€ sngs should deplete each other. So I rather have 2€ than 1€ games.

If you want to build a br from nothing you have to play somewhere else anyway because 1€ is still too high.

Ok, have not understood this NLHE challenge in over a year, but what the hell does "be dealt into a hand where the last two digits of the hand are 99" mean? It is not pocket nines, so what else is it, anyone?

I think it's the hand number itself - visible at top left.

So there is a 1/100 chance of it hitting and you can't really influence it.

pretty sure this will be the actual hand number, and nothing to do with your cards or the board cards

Haha, ok, that makes sense .

A challenge finished every 500 hands is what they are gunning for, so yeah, makes sense.

When do the qualifiers get more information about UO Bucharest in an e-mail?

Shoot, you're right. My bad.
In fairness, however, it was not promoted like a "Moving on Up" promo.
