Not much action yet at the PLO tables but most that play have a very "creative" hand selection and chase draws (not even to the nuts) in very funny spots lol.

Don't you just love the "its like regular NL but you get FOUR cards!!" crowd?

Hey just logged into twitch to check out some streams and saw pokerstars on the front page! Unibet needs to get some of this for Unibet would be great exposure!! Not sure how expensive it is?

Also the feature table with whole cards etc like they are shown on screen, not sure if Unibet have this for open, but that would be very awesome.

How exactly is anyone going to compete with PokerStars during the live stream action of an EPT festival? #wonthappen #savethemoney

this banzai thing is the craps, dont know what the hell came over you, esp. in addition with a race. Obv you were looking for any kind of replacement for your zoom variant, but i think poker ecology-wise it is plainly horrible. A few players are sitting there with 10+ stacks forceing recs to flip who might just have like 4 buyins for the lowest variant. They will may errors anyways not knowing about ranges, fold/or call to much etc. But at some point most recs wont be able to reload and lose their money in a flash not even creating a bunch of rake as they bust their rolls so quickly.

Think about it...

Also, along with the update came a few weird bugs i have experienced. i will post again soon providing screenshots.

aand finally, can you change my 1€MTT tickets into 1€ SNG tokens Andrew? (acc: uCALLuFALL)
thx and cheers,
Till

Just curious why people split their UO tickets into smaller amounts. Isn't the only way you can ever actually get value out of them to spin them up until you get to the last one and hopefully bink a package? What's the point of moving backwards down that progression. What am I missing?

I change mine because it gets me better value, If I play a 2e and win then play my 10e and lose. I have to start from the beginning again.

So I change my 10e to 5x2e and then have 5 shots of winning a 10e, I can normally win at least 2 x 10e with the 5 shots if not more. When I have at least 2 of a ticket I try the next level.

I have been doing this for the last week and now my tickets stand at 200e+.
Plus when you lose a 50e game(like I did last night) it dose not feel as bad because you still have another ticket of that value, instead of losing the 50e and going all the way back to 2e.

hmmm, does it also count (the plo4 ticket game) if you clear the ticket? I was counting the hands to still have a few left till clearing that ticket, but it looks like I have made some miscalculations and already cleared it with some 15euros... well, anyway, that is not even a candidate to win it by far because I have seen stacks of over 20euros at those tables, so I guess it does not matter then :/

Yeah of course it does count. Your final amount towards the competition is the last value of the ticket before it cleared.

oh well, it didnt go too well anyway. I am thinking to see some people with 3 digits next to their names in the final player list

You still made 15 bucks from nothing, could have been way worse.

No, only have like 11.50 or so on the ticket arm with about 30 flops seen. Barely played so far and won't any time soon either due to work.

Andrew the sng leaderboard only shows top 50, but it should show everyone I think as we need to know how many points we got towards the 1k in the month if we're not in the top 50

Agreed!

I have no clue why a rather small site like Unibet should try to split its player pool by inventing a super short stack game that can be beaten easily by just looking at a random SNG push or fold chart. Recreationals are spotted super fast and exploited easily and they will tend to loose their money a lot faster than on regular tables since the majority of all hands played are going to be for "stacks".

Wanted to build up the ticket some more but have enough after 15 minutes of missing every single double draw Just under €11 left and 237 flops to go. Leaving early Tuesday for work reasons and have a lot to prepare until then, so guess I won't be able to contribute much to the hilarity at the tables.

Just to balance out the banzai discussions.

I applaud Unibet for innovating this game. It is a tonne of fun. I had a go and had to stop as the swings are too great for a small bankroll. But if i was just playing for fun and not trying to profit it would be cool. Also if I had 100buy ins for it i could afford to play without caring it would be good also.

The business about people sitting with 10+ stacks causing people to shove i don't get because the game causes you to shove whether you are versus 1 stack or 10 - you still have 10bbs unless you are deep verse another deep stack in which case you adjust.

i think it might be dangerous for problem gamblers as it's more like a slot machine than it is a poker game. But the same could be said for hyper sngs which run around the clock on other sites.

I was worried it would dilute the player pool at 4nl - but so far (only 2 days in) i can say there are still plenty of bad players at 4nl, hopefully it stays that way.

you need much more than 100 BI.

important thing in push/fold imo is that the rake isn't high enough to make it unbeatable, and it seems like unibet is well aware of this with the 1% rake. things are very different at the 888 push/fold tables where afaik rake is 5%(or whatever the standard rake on 888 nlSH tables there is), and i think those tables are unbeatable below something ridiculous like $10/20 blinds. (i played a small sample there last year at $2/4-25/50 to see how much rake there was)

Did Unibet crash totally? Blinds still going up, but nothing happening in cash tables and tournaments. Did close and re-open the client but no change.
