Just messing around cause I really like the site. Unibet looks a lot like how I would make my own pokersite. I guess I've played mtts the most but it's close to 50/50. Most of that being mixed games though, not sure I could beat midstakes nlhe at stars atm.

Regarding points for challenges:

I think I read somewhere that if you have exceeding points you will keep them for the next quarter. (Fe if you have 1 100 000 you will start with 100 000 next quarter) Is this correct?

Otherwise, theres no worth for me to play anymore in december, since its 250 000 points to next price for me.

btw Andrew now everything seems to work again. even the lag is gone. I am pretty confident now that the problems were not at all this end, not cpu, nor my connection

We're aware that a lot of people lagged close to the milestone but we aren't sure if it's CPU load issues from having lots of tables open or network problems. We're also aware of the more general login problems last night. We're investigating each.

In general I prefer that you all talk to support for refunds as there're a lot of requests and only one me. But as you picked that alias, ok, done. I'm not sure what you missed so let me know if the refund is for the wrong kind of thing.

Yeh, agree. I'm interested in figuring out exactly how liquidity works. Cash games are the most important for that, but perhaps SNG are simpler to figure out. Everyone in the industry "knows" that more liquidity is good, though I think there's a limit where it's pure linear improvements. But nobody seems to know how much is enough for a game to run. At what point does adding 1% liquidity add > 1% rake?

I don't think that higher stake SNG run enough for us to split those, but perhaps we could do something at lower stake games first. Anyway, it's for 6 months time or whatever, so no rush.

I'm happy to convert tickets from one type to another. If you get to €25 in €1 SNG tickets etc, I can convert them.

The reason I built it like this was because we have causal data that say players who try more game types will live longer. I've been cutting down in the number of tickets awarded in Challenges though, and I'm cutting down further next quarter (more playthrough bonuses instead).

In the long term, I want to do a bonus shop where you win bonus money which you can use to buy whatever tickets you want. Then we can discount €25 SNG tickets for a week or for particular players (e.g. if someone is losing a lot in €100 SNG and we think they're about to give up, we could encourage them to play lower instead). This'd be very interesting to tie back into liquidity.

That's ok, I don't expect many people will have read the entire thread, and our plans and ideas evolve anyway.

Yeh, I'd much prefer higher stakes won. I think that if we do this again (250m hand?) I would make NL4 less valuable and make the flops-seen-multplier more valuable. I'd also make a FAQ that talks about how to get higher EV in milestones - I think a lot of people have been trained on the PS system and don't read how ours works. We need to make that clearer.

And yes, I am whining that we haven't awarded enough money yet. > €50k so far though so not too bad.

That'll only start happening from next quarter.

But the €1 tickets expire too fast to be able to save up for a 25NL ticket, which i normally play.
Is there anyway around this expiration to still be able to exchange the little

Yes, it's definitely a problem. Just let them expire and let me know when you've hit 25. I'll count expired tickets.

Thanks, I'll ask someone to investigate.

The current iPad release candidate includes MTTs. Once we are sure that works, it'll include missions too, and hopefully multi-tabling in the next month or so. It's a bit awkward to include missions in it right now, even with MTTs, because steps like "tile tables" won't work there. So there's a bit of work needed on that first.

Next iPad version will be in the next 7-10 days. We've not submitted it to Apple yet but probably will soon, then they need to approve it.

Aha, it was because the system credited the tickets for people who were logged in when the hand finished. You logged out when the hand had started, but hadn't finished. I think there'll be a few people like this - we'll credit them manually if they let us know they were one of them.

To me tours are more important than missions etc for ipad - can always check those later on pc. But it is nice to play a tour from couch on ipad while wathing some crap on tv ;-)
