This is the new official thread that we'll use to replace the unofficial one.

I've been posting in there as Sciolist, so please direct any PMs to me here instead.

For those of you who haven't been following that thread, let me explain what we're doing. Good players are getting better every year so the skill gap with new players is always increasing. This means new players go broke faster. Sites that don't react to that will decline, as Unibet have been doing for several years.

We decided to take a gamble and make our own standalone site. We launched on March 3rd with a PC desktop version and have since brought out a mac client, an iOS client and a browser client.

Our philosophy is to make the game a level playing field. We do not allow HUDs, trackers or any scripts. We do not allow table selection, but we do allow players to change their identity up to three times per day.

However, we don't want to scare away regulars. We don't segregate player pools or hide tables from anyone. We pay out as much in our loyalty scheme as we ever did on MGS, but now the top and bottom ends are more generous, at the expense of the middle.

We have much lower rake at NL4, NL10, PLO4 and PLO10. We think this makes players move up in stakes faster, which we think is of benefit to everyone.

Talking of loyalty, we have an innovative scheme called Challenges which assigns you a task like "be dealt aces 50 times" then gives you points for completing it. There are minor Challenges (all are preflop) that take approximately 1,000 hands and there are major Challenges (postflop) that take approximately 10,000 hands. Each Challenges season lasts one quarter, so the next will start on July 1st.

Yesterday three good things happened:

1. We launched the Danish client and we will soon be shutting down fully on MicroGaming.
2. We had our best ever cash game rake day which is very unusual during the summer, particularly during the world cup.
3. We won two eGR awards, one in poker innovation, and one in poker marketing innovation. Unibet also won Innovation of the Year.

That makes it a good time to start an official thread too. I'd like to avoid too many support queries - we have a whole department for that. But I'm happy to hear about bugs, feedback, requests, and basically anything else you like.

Cash game traffic is going pretty well at the moment. We had our best every cash game day yesterday and hopefully the trend will continue. We're in the middle of redesigning our MTT schedule. It's all done but is not yet all deployed. We are also doing a promotion where HU SNG rake is 40% lower than normal.

In July we're resetting Challenges. We will pay out fewer tickets and more playthrough bonuses and more cash. We will have a lot more Challenges of each type - 15 major for PLO and NLHE, and 25 minor for both. I've removed any that might make you play worse, like "Showdown a full house" and I've made a lot of them easier, like "be dealt into a river of the ace of spades".

We're continuing with the World Cup slot, the post-game freerolls and the race. You can see our current promos on our site.

So next month we will launch a new mission (it'll be about Sit & Go tournaments) but keep the existing promotions.

Ah, I assumed you were talking about Challenges: you can't win more than one package via satellites, but you CAN if you win one in a satellite then one in Challenges.

I've said in the old thread - I am fine doing this (or if you have 10x €1 tickets and want 1x €10, I'll do that too), but if it becomes too much I'll stop. I don't want to spend my day doing support work if I can help it.

I guess I should say why too - my job is doing the geeky poker stuff. I built the rake schedule, I designed the achievements, challenges, the first few missions, that kind of thing. I also designed a lot of the client features, which will include table prioritisation (so it pops up when it's your turn) as well as table tiling/cascading/saving positions. These should be included in the next couple of releases.

Andrew, before you launch a client with flags, banners, animations and so on could you please test that people are actually able to login and play? I am referring to the .dk client.

That aside, I really like your fresh approach of creating a poker client and I am looking forward to try it out.

Im fine with grinding €1 tickets , Im just clueless when it comes to PLO.I wont bother you unless you put PLO tickets in missions or challenges again.

What happens when you try? We are definitely getting lots of successful Danish logins. We've had one case where a player wasn't able to login, but they fixed it by clearing their IE cookies.

I should have said this in the OP, but new players from BE, DK, FI, NL, NL, SE and UK get a €10 NL4 ticket on signup. Every player from every market gets a €500 playthrough bonus (works out as 25% rb and expires in 60 days). We also offer quite generous rewards from our monthly missions - I think it's €24 in July, basically for just playing a few SNG.

The initial drafts of female avatars included more, shall we say, bosom. I think this puts a lot of people off playing though - particularly women - so we scaled that back a bit.

Danish only. It's exactly the same as the .com client except the signup process is a bit crappier due to DK regulations. On that theme - there is no reduction of loyalty scheme payouts or increased rake for Danes, something a few other sites do.

you dont need to change the ticket i already used it . I enjoy cashgaming more But reporting the minor problems will lead to a better pokerclient in the long run aswell in my opinion

That's fine, and thanks. I don't think I've said it in this thread yet, but I definitely want to improve the bonus system. It's quite a big change though so i think it'll be a while.

Login: The problem was that we couldn't change the .com login while we had .DK on MicroGaming. Once we turn off MicroGaming we can start work on an improved login. I hope this is in the near future, because it looks rubbish right now and everyone sees it all the time.

I don't know much about what's going on in Lativa. But decisions that aren't purely poker are basically out of my hands - we'll do what Unibet as a whole tells us to do. I definitely want to push for the Baltics to the degree that I can, as we have a ton of players there. I also used to be PokerStars Nordic & Baltic CRM manager, and I lived in Estonia, so I feel quite connected to the region in a way that belies my lack of knowledge of the proposed law... Time for me to start googling. Do you know of a thread/article somewhere that summarises it?

We're moving to a new release every month. Right now, the schedule is to include table priority - i.e. an option to make tables pop-up when it's your turn to act, rather than just flash - in the release at the end of June.

Table tiling should come in for the release at the end of July. I'm hoping that we can get a bit more than that, but lots of people are taking holidays etc. so it may be a while.

GetStacked is login name, also I'd rather the cash as Im still unable to use normal client and can only play single cash game with your online browser, still waiting on a fix for this :/. sad times!
