It's very hard to work out your strategy on the bubble, when the table info doesn't tell you the position you're currently in correctly, and the lobby is showing some people with chips (or even prizes) when they've already busted. Everyone I spoke to had broken tourney lobbies several times tonight. Is this recurrent bug ever gonna get fixed?

example lobby:

Unibet servers can't handle bigger traffic or is client issue I always wandered...We used to talk about it at chat during HensiePensie stream. I was in the money in one of UOS Low tournaments playing it without ICM considered strategy.Probably lost some EV...

We unfortunately had yesterday a few server issues, therefore some players had issues with tournament lobbies not being updated or having visual errors.

If you feel like you lost money due to that issue, feel welcome to send me a PM and I have a look if a compensation can be made.

We are working on stabilizing our servers to prevent issues like this in the future.

Thanks and have a good weekend

I have 3 UOs79 tickets and would like to use 1 of them this Sunday and save 2 for the 16th. If this could be arranged that would be good. Also my tickets expire in 5 days and it wouldn't let me register to the past Supernova because the UO79 was in the client.

It was supposed to be fixed and I got confirmation from some others that had that same issue that it worked for them.

Please check your PM.

Thanks

Either there are house bots or super users or maybe both playing at Unibet. Never seen so much sick hands and I have been around for over 10 years. Everything is so shady and scummy. Would really not recommend anyone to play here. Transparency zero!

Well if you say so then it must be true. Thx for the warning m8. Feels bad to leave though because the games are so soft compared to other sites.

Sounds like a reliable comment from a user named "Partydon'tcare" How many times have you stated the same words in the Party thread
Spoiler:
and if I remember correctly from a couple of years back, it was pretty often...

This problem has been there the whole (or at least most of the) series for me. I do feel like I missed or lost chips (and thus effectively money) due to this since it impacts bubble/pay jump play alot. But how are you planning to determine the amount of compensation?

What will happen with the new gambling laws in January for Swedish players? Will you get a license? I don't know if this is right, but I remember reading somewhere that promotions and other kinds of rakeback will not be allowed. Any chance you will lower the rake for Swedish players?

As a former poker professional myself, I can judge quite well how genuine someone is that claims he/she pushed due to misinformation in the lobby.

If that is the case, I can use ICM calculation on the hand of the bust out.

There is no perfect solution for this but I believe it's the fairest.

As per now, poker will have no changes for Swedish customers.
And yes, we were one of the first ones to receive a license: https://www.kindredgroup.com/media/p...bling-licence/

When its concerning the bust out hand its more or less clear to determine if someone is pushed due to misinformation.

But there also alot of moments in a tournament that are not that black and white. For example to open a hand or not or to 3bet someone is influenced by the stacksizes of all the players in the tournament and it is very difficult to compensate for this. But these small changes in your stack might influence the rest of the tournament. I think this has influenced my game but the differences are too difficult to judge and thus very very difficult to compensate for. And beside that, I assume everyone had the problem, or where there problems not for everyone the same?

But compliments for you and Unibet to want to look into this, respect for that

Can you please change the setting, that if you time out on one table you immediately fold and sit out on all the other tables? It makes multitabling hell, if you accidently forget to fold a hand, but much worse, when playing 9+ tables and one of those mini disconnects happens (which are server related, don't try to blame it on me, I am always simultaneously on other sites without a problem) it sometimes folds multiple hands, which is pretty annoying.

@NINzent: the Unibet reps have been frank about their vision of poker ecology ITT. I understand that it's hard to locate their statements about the ecosystem among all the routine responses about ticket exchange etc., but nevertheless, it must be useful to go through the thread from the start.

Basically, you're expected to play at a reasonably low number of tables so that your recreational opponents don't wait for too long and don't get bored. The threat of the sitout at all tables is in place to stop you from playing at more tables than you can realistically handle without ever timing out. During server issues, you need to adjust by cutting your table count even more.

I'm playing the E58 UOS Rebuy High and during the add-on break I could use a €25 ticket for an extra rebuy but when I wanted to do an add-on with another ticket it the client froze. So I restarted the client and I couldn't do an add-on with another €25 ticket but only with cash.

When I and others have raised concerns about HU regs who tank almost every decisions as they're playing too many tables the response from Unibet has simply been "We have reviewed the player(s) and do not believe any action needs to be taken."

If you play 1 table of HU and you're waiting on a guy who takes 20 seconds for every decision you're not going to enjoy yourself, but Unibet only pretend to care it seems.

I have to sadly agree with this. There are some 5 max SNG players that play regularly whom employ this strategy when HU. Unibet is aware of it and the individual players names and is ok with it. I have no idea why.

Blame the top-heavy loyalty program that prompts regs to load a zillion tables despite losing most of their pre-rakeback ROIs / winrates in so doing.

Of course, this reduces the waiting times for SNGs to start, but this reduction is of little use when the gameplay is rather slow.

The issue is actually easy to fix:

1. Reduce the rake on HUSNGs to 2% (the effective rake will then drop by less than 1.5x because most regs will have lower rakeback rates).
2. Set the HU multitabling limit to 2.
3. Reduce the thinking time allowance.
4. Be stricter to those who take too much time to act on average nevertheless (mostly because of playing at other sites).

The downside for the operator is that (re)deposits would be then converted to rake at a lower rate, which is probably why Unibet doesn't want to set the limits yet, but on the other hand, there would be more redeposits.

Full disclosure: I'm known as an Amaya fanboy

If you want to punish regs hard who time out, thats okay, I obv don't like it, but I cant argue with it.
But punishing multitablers hard, because your server suck is not cool

The client is refusing to open for me today. Friends have said they had trouble too, but did eventually get in. I even tried re-downloading the installation files to no avail. I'm just getting this useless white box:

If it's not fixed tomorrow, I'll use the browser instead, but tonight I'll just pay some rake to another site. :/

I had the white screen issue today too, i reinstalled and set the country to 'UK', and it white screened again. I am in Mexico, so figured id try again and set it to 'other'. It worked when i did this.

Oh thanks. Sleazy/TBC did that too. Doing a full uninstall/re-install and then not picking a country seems to have fixed it. Cheers.
